Using the handbrakes
1. To operate the brake pull upwards on the handbrake lever to
position (1)
2. When using the walker to move forward, the handbrake lever will
remain in position (2)
3. To lock the handbrake, push down on the handbrake lever until it
‘clicks’ into the lock position from position 2 to position (3)
4. To unlock the handbrake, pull up on the handbrake lever from
position 3 to position (2)

How to fold your walker
Lift the seat, remove the basket (if basket is fi tted) and pull on the nylon rope which folds the frame
Handle adjustment
1. Remove adjustment knob and bolt from
handles
2. Insert handles into walker frame
3. With your arm relaxed at your side, position
the handle so the grip is level with the middle
of your forearm
4. Insert the bolt through the frame and handle
5. For older style walkers ensure, before
tightening the adjustment knob, that the
hexagonal bolt head is into the hexagonal
hole in the frame. With new style walkers the
receiver thread is part of the walker frame
6. Tighten knob so handles are fi rm
Brake tension adjustment
1. To adjust cable at the handbrake handle -
1. Loosen lock nut. 2. Turn cable adjuster
clockwise to loosen the brake. 3. Turn cable
adjuster anti-clockwise to tighten the brake

Cleaning & Maintenance
Keep hair and lint from around wheel axles and
bearings and oil moving parts occasionally.
Ensure brakes are at optimum adjustment and
handle adjustment knobs are tight. If walker
frame is bent or shows sign of fatigue DO NOT
USE WALKER.
