These safetywarnings applyto the Wireless IPPhoneWirelessIP3000. Please read the following sections
before Installing or using your WirelessIP3000.
1.1 EmergencyServices Warning
This phone will not be able to access emergencyservices during a power outage because ofreliance on
utilitypower for normal operation.Alternative arrangements should bemade for accessing emergency
services.
1.2 Explosive Gas Warning
The use ofthe WirelessIP3000 in hazardous environmentswhere highlevel ofexplosivegas maybe
Presentisnotrecommended. Checkwiththesitesafetyengineerbeforeusinganytypeofwireless device
in such an environm8ent.
1.3 BatteryDisposal Warning
Do not dispose ofthe batterypackin fire or water.The batterymayexplode ifplaced in the fire.
1.4 BatterySafety Notices These Batterysafetynotices applyto the batteries that are approved bythe
WirelessIP3000 manufacturer.
ØDo not disassemble, crush, puncture, or incineratethe batterypack.
ØTo avoidriskoffire, burns, or damage to your batterypack, do not allowa metal object to touch the
batterycontacts.
ØHandle a damaged or leaking batterywith extreme care. If youcome in contact with the electrolyte,
wash the exposed areawith soap and water. Iftheelectrolyte has come in contact withyour eye,
flush the eye with water for 15 minutes and seekmedical attention
ØDo not charge the batterypackifthe ambient temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius.
ØDo not keep thebatterypack in temperatures above 60degrees Celsius.
ØWhen discarding a batterypack, contact your localwaste disposal provider regarding local
restrictions on the disposalor recycling ofbatteries.
ØTo obtain a replacement battery, contact your local dealer.Use the batteries that are provided by
WirelessIP3000 manufacturer only.
ØUse the power supplythat is provided by WirelessIP3000 manufacturer only.

Use it for enteringmenu, editing something, saving phone number,and
changing character input.
Use it for searching, going back to previous screen, shortcut to presence
menu, and muting.
1. Menu browsing
1) Pressing the keytoLEFTdirection changes thedisp
laytothe
previous screen
2) Pressing thekeyto RIGHTdirection changes the displaytothe
next screen for the itemyou selected in either menu or setup.
3) Pressing the keytoUPor DOWNdirection allowsyouto scroll up
or downthemenu or setup screen.
2. Editing
1) Pressing the keyto LEFT direction moves the cursor left.
2) Pressing the keyto RIGHT direction moves the cursor right.
In text editing, deletes one character (backspace). While browsing
menu, goes backto theprevious menu.
Use this keyto make and receive calls.
During a call,it disconnects the call.While browsing menu, it exits menu.
Power ON: holdingit down till ‘Loading…’ message shows up.
Power OFF: holding it down for a second or longer.
Dialpadis for dialing just likethe normal telephone and entering
alphanumeric characters when editing names and phone numbers.
Also, it can beusedfor quickmenu browsing.

3.1 Guidelines for Use of Accessory
Followthese guidelines in using accessories withyourWireless IPPhone WirelessIP3000.
nWhen disconnecting the power cord ofanyaccessory,grasp bythe plug, not the cord and pull.
nKeep the accessories away fromchildren.
nUse onlycharger, batteries,accessories that are approvedbytheWirelessIP Phone manufacturer.
Usingunapprovedcharger,batteries,andaccessories maybedangerous, andmayinvalidatethe
warrantyon your phone.

3.3 Inserting Battery
Placethebatteryinto the batterybayon the backside ofthe phoneand pushuptowards the release button
until it clicks.
3.4 Releasing Battery
Take the batteryoff fromthe phone bypressing the release button and pull out the batterytowards the
bottomofthe phone.

Step 1. Plug theAC adapter into awall outlet.Step 2. Remove the protective connector cover ofthe phone.
Step 3. Insert theAC adapter connector into base ofthe phone.
Note : It is also possible tocharge the phone byusing the USB cable instead ofthe
AC adapter as shown in Figure 6.

5. Input Method
Dial pad is formed with integer 0~9, *, and # and usedfor inputting3 or 4 alphabetletters and some
symbols. Once a Dial keyhas been pressed,pressing it again while the rectangular cursor keeps blinking
will change the current input to the next letter assigned for that specific key.See the table belowfor theDial
keyassignment. Notethatafter the rectangular cursor blinks couple oftimes, it will change into a vertical
bar cursor.

6.1 Outbound Call

If you dial a desired number,
you can seetheOption

When you select, each
numbers will go in front
ofdialed number.
Once registered, you can
make calls to others that are
registered to the same SIP
server.
Dial number & press Send
Key.If your call reach the

IfCallee receives your call,
timer starts activating on the
top ofthe screen.
You can savethedialed
number as Phone BookMenu.
You can see the search result that
the number you dialed.
Note : You cansee the search result ofdialed number
onlyifthe number was alreadysaved in Phone Book.

6.3.1 Add NewEntry
You can store info such as phone number of your family,friends and others. It must have
at least one stored number in the phone bookto search.
Use Left Soft Keyto
enter the menu fromidle
screen.
Enter Phone book.
Once registered, you
can alsoreceive calls.
Ifsomeone calls you, it says
"Incoming call" onthetopof the
screen and displays caller number.
If you receive a call, timer
activates on the top ofthe
screen.
If you press Enter Keyto save
without enteringanydata,
<Warning> message popsup.
Inputinformation: Name Read Name Phone Number
Group Index. After done inputting information you need,
press Enter Keyto save. It is not requiredto fill everything out
but the Phone number is essential.

6.3.2 Call from Phone Book
Calling fromthe PhoneBook is another wayto make a call instead ofdialing fromidle screen.
So as to do, you need to search phone number stored in PhoneBookbyfollowing the stepsbelow.
There are 5 ways to searchthe number.
①ByKana
②ByName
③ByPhoneNumber
④ByGroup
⑤ByIndex
If you didn’tinput the exact information
whichever wayamong theabove, phone will
search the name or number that contains the
input character that you entered.
Select Andyand press Enter Keythen it
will showAndy’s information: Read
Name, Phone Number, Group and Index.
Note : For example, let’s saythat onepersonis Kim, and second person is Kimberly.Theyboth have
‘K’in their name. So if you don’twantto enter whole name to search one person byName,
you can just input one letter ‘K’then press Enter Key. Result will show Kimand Kimberly.
Press SendKeyor Enter Keywherever
the focus at canmake a call to the
person.

6.3.3 Edit Group
This section explains youhowto add, delete or edit group.
Undefined is a default group, which cannot
be edited or deleted. You can add or edit a
group byusing Options menu.
Note : Maximum10 groupscan be
made.
The picture on the left shows adding a group
named as “WirelessIP”. Press Enter Keyto
save a new group and it goes backto Phone
Bookmenu.
Use Options menu or select a group you
want to edit andpress Enter Key.
Press Enter Keyagain to saveand itgoes
backto PhoneBookmenu.
Before using Options menu to delete the
cursor should be at the group you wantto
delete. Press Enter Keyto delete.
Removed dialog will disappear ina second; it
goes backto Phone Bookmenu.

6.3.4 Delete all
This function deletes all thephone numbers stored in Phone Bookbut the groupsdon’t get deleted.
6.4 MessageMenu
Message is usedfor short communication bytransmitting words to each other.
Select “Deleteall”and
press Enter Key.
Phone will ask you to
make confirmation. Use
◁▷ keyto choose
“Yes”or “No”.
Selecting “Yes”will show
the process ofdeleting
the entirePhone Book
datum.
In a second, “Removed”
dialogshows and it goes
backto PhoneBook
menu.
Use Left Soft Keyto select
the menu fromthe idle
screen.
Select “Message”and press
Enter Key.

All the messages you receivedgetstored in here. If youwant to see old/newmessages check
the “Received Message Box”.

You can replystraightlyto the person
who has sent the message to you.
Ifthere are unread messages, it will show the dialog howmany
unread messages are left. Right after thatdialog disappears, it
will show thelist ofmessages.
Select “Recv.Msg Box”and
press Enter Key.
Select the message you want to read in larger windowand press
Enter Keythen screenwill looklike picture on the left.
ØYou can see the entire message manuallybyusing △▽ key.
*Message contains the date, time, phone number and contents.
