These safetywarnings applyto the Wireless IPPhoneWirelessIP5000.Pleaseread the following sections
before Installing or using your WirelessIP5000.
1.1 EmergencyServices Warning
This phone will not be able to access emergencyservices during a power outage because ofreliance on
utilitypower for normal operation.Alternative arrangements should bemade for accessing emergency
services.
1.2 Explosive Gas Warning
The use ofthe WirelessIP5000 in hazardous environmentswhere high level ofexplosive gas maybe
Presentisnotrecommended. Checkwiththesitesafetyengineerbeforeusinganytypeofwireless device
in such an environm8ent.
1.3 BatteryDisposal Warning
Do not dispose ofthe batterypackin fire or water.The batterymayexplode ifplaced in the fire.
1.4 BatterySafety Notices These Batterysafetynotices applyto the batteries that are approved bythe
WirelessIP5000 manufacturer.
ØDo not disassemble, crush, puncture, or incineratethe batterypack.
ØTo avoidriskoffire, burns, or damage to your batterypack, do not allowa metal object to touch the
batterycontacts.
ØHandle a damaged or leaking batterywith extreme care. If youcome in contact with the electrolyte,
wash the exposed areawith soap and water. Iftheelectrolyte has come in contact withyour eye,
flush the eye with water for 15 minutes and seekmedical attention
ØDo not charge the batterypackifthe ambient temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius.
ØDo not keep thebatterypack in temperatures above 60degrees Celsius.
ØWhen discarding a batterypack, contact your localwaste disposal provider regarding local
restrictions on the disposalor recycling ofbatteries.
ØTo obtain a replacement battery, contact your local dealer.Use the batteries that are provided by
WirelessIP5000 manufacturer only.

Pressing the VOLUME UP keywill increases volume of handset,
or ringer.
Pressing the VOLUME DOWN keywill decreases ofhandset,
or ringer.
Pressing the LOCK keywill preventkeysbeing accidentallypressed by
user.
Use it for enteringmenu, editing something, saving phone number,and
changing character input.
Use it for searching, going back to previous screen, shortcut to presence
menu, and muting.
1. Menu browsing
1) Pressing the keyto
LEFTdirection changes thedisplaytothe
previous screen
2) Pressing thekeyto RIGHTdirection changes the displaytothe
next screen for the itemyou selected in either menu or setup.
3) Pressing the keytoUPor DOWNdirection allowsyouto scroll up
or downthemenu or setup screen.
2. Editing
1) Pressing the keyto LEFT direction moves the cursor left.
2) Pressing the keyto RIGHT direction moves the cursor right.
In text editing, deletes one character (backspace). While browsing
menu, goes backto theprevious menu.
Use this keyto make and receive calls.
During a call,it disconnects the call.While browsing menu, it exits menu.
Power ON: holdingit down till ‘Loading…’ message shows up.
Power OFF: holding it down for a second or longer.
Dialpadis for dialing just likethe normal telephone and entering
alphanumeric characters when editing names and phone numbers.
Also, it can beusedfor quickmenu browsing.

5.1 Guidelines for Use of Accessory
Followthese guidelines in using accessories withyourWireless IPPhone WirelessIP5000.
nWhen disconnecting the power cord ofanyaccessory,grasp bythe plug, not the cord and pull.
nKeep the accessories away fromchildren.
nUse onlycharger, batteries,accessories that are approvedbytheWirelessIP Phone manufacturer.
Usingunapprovedcharger,batteries,andaccessories maybedangerous, andmayinvalidatethe
warrantyon your phone.

5.3 ACPower Adapter
The Ac adapter as shownin Figure 3 enables you to charge your phone batteryquickly.
To use the adapter, plug itinto a wall outlet, andinsert the connector into baseofyour WirelessIP5000
or the backofthe desktop charger. Youcan usethephone whilebatterycharging.

5.4 USBCable
The USB Cable as shownin Figure 4, connects your phone tothePC,enables you toeither configure or to
changethephone.When configuring the phone, makesure that your PC and the phone areconnected
directlyto each other bythe USB cable.
5.5 Inserting Battery
Placethebatteryinto the batterybayon the backside ofthe phoneand pushuptowards the release button
until it clicks.
5.6 Releasing Battery
Take the batteryoff fromthe phone bypressing the release button and pull out the batterytowards the
bottomofthe phone.

8. Input Method
Dial pad is formed with integer 0~9, *, and # and usedfor inputting3 or 4 alphabetletters and some
symbols. Once a Dial keyhas been pressed,pressing it again while the rectangular cursor keeps blinking
will change the current input to the next letter assigned for that specific key.See the table belowfor theDial
keyassignment. Notethatafter the rectangular cursor blinks couple oftimes, it will change into a vertical
bar cursor.

You can store info such as phone number of your family,friends and others. It must have
at least one stored number in the phone bookto search.
Use Left Soft Keyto
enter the menu fromidle
screen.
Enter Phone book.
Once registered, you
can alsoreceive calls.
Ifsomeone calls you, it says
"Incoming call" onthetopof the
screen and displays caller number.
If you receive a call, timer
