SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

4
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The jack base must rest on solid and levelled surface.
2. After you placed an object on the jack, the jack must stand securely on its base.
3. The lifting arm must be pushed all the way under the object.
4. The lifting object must be in stable position before lifting to prevent unwanted movement later.
5. Do not work under the lifted object unless secured against incidental fall.
6. Do not try to remove the lifted object from the jack. Lower the object instead.
7. Do not use lever extension.
8. Do not carry the jack by its handle.
A. LOAD LIFTING
1. Observing all safety rules, slide the jack under the object to be lifted. Lift the
reverse safety latch (20) and check if the groves of the latch fit closely inside
the reverse switch grove (18) - see picture 1. Lift the jaw until it touches the
bottom of the load. Stop and make sure that the lifting process may be done
with no problems.
2. Press the lever down and observe the lifting. When moving the lever down you
will hear a click. It is caused by the movable stud (13) that springs inside the
hole in the steel rod (3). Stop in this phase for a second to allow the stud adjust
itself for the next proper position. Lift the lever as high as possible and press it
down again.
IMPORTANT:
1. Do not use extension for the lever.
2. Always hold the lever strong.
B. LOWERING THE LOAD
IMPORTANT: You need to lift at least 50 kg of load. Lower the load slowly to
prevent falling of the lifting jaw.
While observing all safety instructions, lift the load and make sure that the lever is
resting in a complete vertical position. Release the reverse latch (20), so it is in
"down" position. That means the groves of the latch will get released from the
reverse switch grove (see picture 2). Hold the lever strongly and use it in the same
way, as during lifting.
