When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and
injury to persons, including the following:
1. To prevent fire or shock hazard, DO NOT expose this appliance to rain
or moisture.
2. Dangerous high voltages are present inside this enclosure. To avoid
electric shock, DO NOT open the cabinet, refer servicing to qualified
personnel only.
3. This appliance is intended for household use only and not for
commercial, industrial or outdoor use. Other use not recommended
may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
4. Ensure the fan is not placed near drapes,curtains, or any objects that
may be drawn into the fan.
5. To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury to persons, do not
immerse the unit, plug or cord in water or spray it with liquids.
6. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the
product.
7. No naked flames sources, such as candles, should be placed on the
product.
8. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings. Slots and opening are provided for ventilation to ensure
reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating.
9. Care is required with the use of this apparatus in tropical climates. Do
not use the appliance at temperatures over 40 °C.
10. Place the fan on a stable level and dry surface when operating, to
avoid overturning.
11. Only connect to a suitable AC 220-240V~50Hz mains socket.
12. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/ or flammable
fumes. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking
or other heating appliance.
13. Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug, after a
malfunction or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner.
14. Do not operate the fan without the fan grilles properly in place.
15. Do not place the fan close to an open window. Rain splashing on the
fan could cause an electric shock hazard.
16. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or
let it touch any hot surfaces.
17. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the grille openings as
this may cause damage to the appliance.
18. Do not use the fan if the grille becomes damaged or loose.
19. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of

experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
20. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
21. Switch the fan OFF and unplug it from the outlet when it is not in use,
when moving it from one location to another and before cleaning it.
22. To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull
by the cord.
23. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance. There
are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified
service personnel.

Before first use
Unpacking: This product has been packaged to protect it against
transportation damage. Unpack the appliance and keep the original
packaging carton and materials in a safe place. It will help prevent any
damage if the product needs to be transported in the future, while you can
also use it to store the appliance when it is not in use. In the event it is to
be disposed of, please recycle all packaging materials where possible.
Safe packaging disposal: Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard
for babies and young children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of
their reach and disposed of safely.
Inspection: Unwind the cord to its full length and check if it has been
damaged. Do not use the appliance if the appliance or its cord have been
damaged or if it is not working properly. In case of damage, contact the
after sales support line for advice on examination, repair or return of
the damaged product.
Assembly
1. Unscrew the four screws of the standing pipe and put the round base
cover through the standing pipe. Secure the lower pipe with Pipe
support onto the heavy base using the screws.
2. Extend the upper pipe, insert the pipe connector through the upper
pipe onto the lower pipe and tighten.
3. Attach the motor and body of the fan onto the upper pipe. Ensure that
the switch compartment is fully pushed onto the upper pipe and secure
with the provided screw.
4. Loosen the Guard Mounting Nut from the Motor Housing.
5. Position the Rear fan grille firmly onto the Motor Housing and then
fasten the Guard Mounting Nut by turning clockwise.
6. Push the Blade along the Motor Shaft and fasten firmly with the Blade
Lock Screw by turning counter clockwise.
7. Place the Front Fan Grille onto the Rear Fan Grill with the position fixer
provided at the rim of the Guard, and then fix together with the clips.
Instructions
Place the fan on a dry, level surface, plug it into a 240V 50Hz electrical
outlet and switch on the power to the outlet. Ensure the remote control
contains two AAA size batteries (not supplied).
Remote control operation
This fan is with 3 speeds, 3 modes, a 7.5hr timer and a remote control for
convenient operation. (You can also use the control panel to switch the fan
on and off, select a speed, set the timer and oscillation.)

ON/SPEED
Press the ON/SPEED button (on the remote
control or on the control panel) to switch on
the fan.
Press the ON/SPEED button again to select
HIGH or LOW speed.
OFF
Press the OFF button to switch off the fan.
MODE
Press the MODE button (on the remote control) to change the fan mode
through different breeze modes.
Normal: In this mode the fan operates at a constant speed.
Natural: In this mode the fan simulates a natural breeze mode by
cycling on and off, as in nature.
Sleep: In this mode the fan simulates a soft, natural breeze suitable for
night-time use.
SWING
Press the OSC button (on the remote control or on the control
panel) to activate the oscillation function for widespread breeze
distribution.
Press the button again to stop oscillation when the fan head is in
the desired position.
TIMER
Press the TIMER button (on the remote control or on the control
panel) to set the timer in increments of 0.5 hour to a maximum of 7.5
hours. After the timer runs out, the fan will automatically shut off.
MAINTENANCE
 Always turn off the fan and remove the plug from the socket-outlet
before cleaning.
 Clean the external surface of the fan using a soft damp (not
dripping wet) cloth.
WARNING:
Do not immerse the fan in water.

Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and
abrasives.
Do not allow the interior (special for the PCB) to get wet as
this could create a hazardous situation.
 When the unit is not in use, make sure that it is unplugged from the
wall socket. To store the fan, you may pack it in the original carton
and store it in a cool and dry place until later use.
 In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself;
it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock.
NOTICE ABOUT RECYCLING
Your product is designed and manufactured with high
quality materials and components which can be recycled
and reused.
This symbol means that electrical and electronic
equipment, at their end-of-life,
should be disposed of separately from your household
waste. Please dispose of this equipment at your local
community waste collection/ recycling centre.
In the European Union there are separate collection systems for used
electrical and electronic products.
