Le recomendamos que dedique algún tiempo a leer
cuidadosamente este Manual de Instrucciones / Instalación con el
fin de hacer un buen uso del mismo.
Lea cuidadosamente todas las instrucciones de seguridad antes de
utilizar el aparato y conserve este Manual de Instrucciones /
Instalación para poder consultarlo en el futuro.
1. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
POR FAVOR LEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES CON
CUIDADO ANTES DE UTILIZAR EL PRODUCTO.
•Compruebe si la red eléctrica a la que va a enchufar el
calefactor coincide con la clasificación eléctrica del mismo.
•Asegúrese de que la fuente de alimentación del enchufe en el
que esta conectado el aparato esté de acuerdo con la
etiqueta de calificación del mismo.
•Cuando el aparato no esté funcionando, por favor retire el
enchufe de la red eléctrica.
•El enchufe debe retirarse de la toma de corriente antes de
limpiarlo.
•No quite el enchufe tirando del cable de alimentación.
•Evite el uso de un cable prolongador, ya que esto puede
recalentar el mismo y causar riesgo de incendio.
•No utilice este calefactor en un entorno húmedo, como por
ejemplo un cuarto de baño.
•El aparato está diseñado para uso doméstico. No lo utilice al
aire libre.

•No cubra, ni obstruya ninguna de las rejillas de salida de
calor o las aberturas de entrada de aire del calefactor.
•No coloque este calefactor cerca de materiales, superficies o
sustancias inflamables, ya que puede haber riesgo de
incendio.
•Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe ser
reemplazado por el fabricante o un agente de servicio o
persona cualificada para ello, para así evitar un peligro.
•No cuelgue nada sobre el calefactor mientras esté en
funcionamiento.
TENGA ESPECIAL CUIDADO!
•Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de que no
juegan con el aparato.
•Los niños de menos de 3 años deben mantenerse alejados a
menos que estén supervisados continuamente.
•Los niños de edades comprendidas entre 3 años y 8 años
sólo deben encender / apagar el aparato siempre que estén
bajo supervisión y entiendan los peligros involucrados en el
uso de este aparato.
•Los niños de edades comprendidas entre 3 años y menos de
8 años no deben enchufar, regular y limpiar el aparato ni
realizar el mantenimiento del mismo.
•PRECAUCIÓN - Algunas partes de este producto pueden
calentarse mucho y causar quemaduras. Se debe prestar
especial atención a los niños y las personas vulnerables.
•Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños de 8 años o más y
personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales
reducidas o por falta de experiencia y conocimientos si han
recibido supervisión o instrucciones sobre el uso del aparato
de forma segura y entienden los peligros involucrados.
•Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. La limpieza y el
mantenimiento del usuario no deben ser realizados por niños
sin supervisión.

3. FUNCIONAMIENTO
Este aparato cuenta con 4 posiciones diferentes, detalladas a
continuación:

Con el botón del termostato, se puede configurar la temperatura del
aire. Una vez que el calefactor alcance la temperatura deseada, el
termostato mantendrá la temperatura activando o desactivando el
calentador.
Se recomienda seleccionar el máximo caudal y poner el termostato
al máximo posible para calentar la habitación rápidamente. Una vez
que la habitación alcance la temperatura adecuada, seleccione una
configuración más baja para reducir el consumo eléctrico y evitar
que la habitación se caliente demasiado.
Por favor considere que en un clima particularmente frío, la
configuración de baja potencia puede ser insuficiente para
satisfacer el termostato. Seleccione una configuración más alta
para estos períodos.
Antes de desconectar el aparato se recomienda mantenerlo
encendido durante 5 ó 10 segundos con aire frío.
Este calefactor viene equipado con control de seguridad anti vuelco
que cortará la energía automáticamente en caso de caída
accidental.

4. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Este producto no requiere un gran mantenimiento. Para limpiarlo,
por favor, siga las siguientes notas:
•Desenchufe primero el calefactor y espere hasta que se
enfrie completamente.
•Use sólo un paño húmedo suave y seque posteriormente.
•No utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos.
•Guárdelo en un lugar seco y fresco.
5. INFORMACIÓN INHERENTE AL MEDIO AMBIENTE
Este aparato se ha marcado de acuerdo con la Directiva
Europea 2012/19/EU referente a la eliminación de los
Desperdicios de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos (RAEE).
El símbolo del que consta en el aparato indica que el producto al
final de su vida útil no se debe tratar como basura doméstica
normal, sino que se debe llevar a los centros de recogida
diferenciada de desperdicios eléctricos y electrónicos o bien
entregar al vendedor en el momento de comprar un nuevo aparato.
La adecuada recogida de este aparato contribuye a evitar posibles
repercusiones negativas para el ambiente o la salud de las
personas. La eliminación debe hacerse respetando los reglamentos
medioambientales locales vigentes. Para informaciones más
detalladas inherentes al tratamiento, la eliminación o el reciclado de
este producto, rogamos contacten el servicio local de eliminación
de desechos o a la tienda donde compró el aparato. No tirar el
embalaje del aparato a la basura sino seleccionar los diversos
materiales como poliestireno, cartón, bolsas de plástico, etc. de

acuerdo con las normas locales sobre la eliminación de basuras y
las normas vigentes.
Los materiales del embalaje de este producto son
reciclables. Puede depositar estos materiales en un
lugar público de recogida para su reciclaje.
6. SERVICIO POSTVENTA
Este producto cuenta con una garantía de 2 años contados a partir
de la fecha de compra del producto, con las siguientes condiciones:
•La garantía es válida sólo con la presentación de la factura
de compra del producto.
•No están cubiertos por la garantía los daños causados
durante el transporte, negligencia o mal uso, montaje o
instalación incorrecta, así como las influencias externas,
tales como: rayos atmosféricos o eléctricos, inundaciones,
humedad, etc.
•Esta garantía termina cuando se descubre que han sido
sometidas a reparaciones, reformas o intervenciones por
cualquier persona no autorizada por Universal Blue.
•Para hacer uso de la garantía acuda al centro donde compró
este producto o bien contacte con nosotros de cualquiera de
las siguientes formas:

1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
When using this appliance, the following safety instructions
should always be followed:
Important safety instructions. Read carefully and keep for the future
reference.
•Check whether or not the local power supply mains matches
the appliance electric rating printed on the label before
operation.
•Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the heater
is plugged is in accordance with the rating label on the heater
and that the socket is earthed.
•When the appliance is not in operation, please remove plug
from supply mains.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance. If the appliance is damaged, do not use it
any more.
•The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before
cleaning or maintaining the appliance
•Don't remove the plug by pulling the power cord.
•Avoid the use of an extension cord as this may overheat and
cause a risk of fire.

•Don’t use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a
bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Never locate the heater
where it may fall into bathtub or other water container.
•The device is intended for household use. Do not use
outdoors.
•Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or the
air intake openings of the heater.
•The room which is to be heated should not contain any easy
inflammable materials (e.g., petrol, solvents, spray canisters
etc.) or other easy combustible materials (e.g., wood or
paper). Keep such materials away form equipment. Risk of
fire!!
•Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged
in any manner.
•Do not hang anything on the heater while it is running.
Warnings!
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
•Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
•Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating position and they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
•Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not
plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user
maintenance.
•Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

3. OPERATING THE HEATER
This appliance can work in 4 different positions, as it follows:

With the thermostat knob, you can set the air temperature. Once the
heater reaches the desire temperature, the thermostat will maintain
the temperature by activating or deactivating the heater.
It is recommended to select the maximum flow rate and set the
thermostat as much as possible to heat the room quickly. Once the
room reaches the proper temperature, select a lower setting to
reduce power consumption and prevent the room from getting too
hot.
Please consider that in case of cold weather, a low power setting
may be not enough. Select a higher setting for this particular period.
Before disconnecting the appliance it is recommended to keep it on
for 5 or 10 seconds with cold air.
This heater comes equipped with an anti-tilt safety control that will
cut off the power automatically in the event of an accidental fall.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product does not require a big maintenance work. To clean it,
please follow the following notes:
• Unplug the heater first and wait until it cools completely.
• Use only a soft damp cloth and dry later.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning products.

• Store it in a dry and cool place.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
This appliance is labelled in compliance with European
directive 2002/96/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE). By ensuring that this appliance is
disposed of correctly, you will help prevent any possible
damage to the environment and to human health, which might
otherwise be caused if it were disposed of in the wrong way.
The symbol on the product indicates that it may not be treated as
normal household waste. It should be taken to a collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic goods.
This appliance requires specialist waste disposal. For further
information regarding the treatment, recover and recycling of this
product please contact your local council, your household waste
disposal service, or the shop where you purchased it.
For more detailed information about treatment, recovery and
recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your
household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased
the product.
The packaging materials are recyclable product. These
materials can be deposited in public collection point

6. AFTER SALES SERVICE
This appliance has a warranty of 2 years from the date of purchase,
considering the following notes:
•Guarantee is only valid showing the invoice or purchase ticket.
•Damage caused during transportation, negligence, incorrect
installation or installation, and external influences such as:
atmospheric or electric rays, floods, humidity, etc. are not covered
by the guarantee.
•This warranty will finish when it is discovered that they have been
subjected to repairs, alterations or interventions by any person not
authorized.
