DESCRIZIONE
Filtro di protezione progettato per linee video coassiali da 75Ohm e dati RS-485 con relativa alimentazione.
Assicura la protezione di immagini e dati contro i picchi di tensione, le extra tensioni indotte e condotte, le
scariche elettrostatiche.
IMPIEGO
Il filtro 1092/732 è in grado di intervenire nella protezione dei segnali video nei casi in cui i cavi di
connessione siano soggetti a:
picchi di tensione dovuti, per esempio a scariche elettrostatiche
campi elettromagnetici
accoppiamenti con linee di rete alternata
correnti parassite dovute a collegamenti di impianti che abbiano un diverso potenziale di terra
In questi casi il filtro è in grado di ridurre o eliminare i guasti delle apparecchiature e i disturbi che si
presentano nella visualizzazione dei segnali video (es. barre trasversali sullo schermo).
Il filtro di isolamento consente anche la protezione di una linea dati RS485, utilizzata per esempio per il
comando e controllo delle telecamere da remoto, e della sua linea di alimentazione a 24Vca.
INSTALLAZIONE
Il Filtro di protezione si inserisce fra il dispositivo sorgente (telecamera) e quello destinatario
(monitor / DVR), lungo il cavo video/RS485.
È buona norma posizionare il filtro di protezione il più vicino possibile al dispositivo da proteggere.
CONFIGURAZIONE TIPO
Il filtro si presenta con 2 connettori BNC femmina (IN) e maschio (OUT), 2 morsetti DATA (IN) e 2 morsetti
DATA (OUT); 2 morsetti Power 24Vca (IN) e 2 morsetti Power 24Vca (OUT)
È anche presente un morsetto di terra che DEVE essere obbligatoriamente collegato affinché il dispositivo
possa esercitare la protezione in modo adeguato. Il dispositivo non richiede alimentazione.

DESCRIPTION
Lightening protection device for coax 75Ohm video and RS-485 data lines with respective power supply.
It protects images and data from voltage surges, induced and conducted overvoltage and electrostatic
discharges.
USE
The lightening protection device 1092/732 protects video signals when connection cables are subject to:
voltage surges caused by electrostatic discharges, for example
electromagnetic fields
coupling with alternating network lines
eddy currents caused to system connections which have a different ground potential.
In these cases, the protection device can reduce or eliminate faults to devices and interference on the
video signal display (e.g. distortions, crosswise stripes etc.).
The lightening protection device also protects RS485 data lines used, for example, for remote controlling
video cameras and its 24Vac power line.
INSTALLATION
The lightening protection device must be inserted between source device (camera) and destination device
(monitor/DVR) along the video/RS485 cable.
It is advisable to install the lightening protection device as close to the device to be protected as possible.
TYPICAL CONFIGURATION
The lightening protection device has two BNC connectors (one female (IN) connector and one male (OUT)
connector), two DATA (IN) terminals and two DATA (OUT) terminals, two Power 24Vac (IN) terminals and
two Power 24Vac (OUT) terminals.
A ground terminal is also present which MUST be connected for the device to provide adequate protection.
The device does not require power.

DESCRIPTION
Parafoudre pour lignes 75 Ohm et RS-485 avec alimentations respectives.
Il protège les flux vidéo et les données des pics de tensions, des surtensions (inductives ou suite à un
cheminement à proximité d’un câble de puissance) et des décharges électrostatiques.
UTILISATION
Le parafoudre 1092/732 protège les signaux vidéos lorsque les câbles sont sujets à:
des pics de tensions suite, par exemple, à des décharges électrostatiques
des champs électromagnétiques
des cheminements à proximité de câbles de puissance
des circulations de courant suite à des connections avec d’autres systèmes possédant des
potentiels différents
Le parafoudre peut réduire ou éliminer ces problèmes (qui peuvent entraîner des défauts sur les
périphériques du système ou des dégradations sur l’image)
Le parafoudre peut également protéger des lignes RS485.
INSTALLATION
Le parafoudre doit être installé sur le lien vidéo/RS485 entre l’appareil source (caméra) et l’appareil de
destination (DVR ou moniteur)
Il est recommandé d’installer la protection au plus proche de l’appareil à protéger.
CONFIGURATION TYPIQUE
Le parafoudre présente :
- deux connecteurs BNC : un femelle (IN) et un mâle (OUT)
- deux connecteurs DATA (IN) et deux connecteurs DATA (OUT)
- deux connecteurs 24Vac (IN) et deux connecteurs 24Vac (OU)
La parafoudre doit impérativement être raccordé à la terre pour protéger l’installation.

BESCHREIBUNG
Der Überspannungsschutz ist für 75 Ohm Video- und RS485 Leitungen konzipiert. Er schützt die Video-
/Datensignale vor Störquellen die durch leitende und induzierte Überspannungen, sowie elektrostatische
Entladungen ausgelöst werden.
EINSATZBEREICH
Der Überspannungsschutz 1092/732 schützt das Video-/Datensignal wenn die Anschlusskabel sich in der
Nähe von:
Spannungsversorgungen mit elektrostatischen Entladungen
Elektromagnetischen Feldern
Wechselstromfeldern
befinden oder die Verbindungen des CCTV Systems verschiedene Erdungspotentiale aufweisen.
In diesem Fall reduziert oder eliminiert der Filter Interferenzen (Verzerrungen, Streifenbildung usw.) die
dadurch beim Videosignal angezeigt werden.
Ebenfalls schützt der Filter die RS485 Datenlinie bei Kameras die über diese Verbindung gesteuert und mit
24V AC eingespeist werden.
INSTALLATION
Der Überspannungsschutz muss zwischen der Bildquelle (Kamera) und dem Zielgerät (Monitor, DVR) im
Video-/RS485-Kabel eingesetzt werden. Es ist empfehlenswert, den Schutz in der Nähe des Anzeige-(z. B.
Monitor) oder Aufzeichnungsgeräts (z.B. DVR) zu positionieren.
TYPISCHE KONFIGURATION
Der Überspannungsschutz verfügt über zwei BNC Anschlüsse; ein Stecker (EINGANG) und eine Buchse
(AUSGANG),
zwei Datenklemmen (EINGANG) und zwei Datenklemmen (AUSGANG), sowie zwei Spannungsklemmen
(EINGANG) und zwei Spannungsklemmen (AUSGANG).
Am Schutz befindet sich ebenfalls ein Erdungskabel, dass unbedingt an das zu schützende Gerät
angeschlossen werden muss.
Der Schutz benötigt keine Versorgungsspannung.
