INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing Switch & Go Dinos®Charger the
Triceratops by VTech®! With a few steps, Charger can switch into
a bulldozer and back again! Press the Action Button to see Charger
move his head back and forth. By interacting with Charger, your child
can learn fun dinosaur facts as they play.

part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the dino is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom
of the panel.
3. Use a screwdriver to open the cover.
4. Install 2 AAA batteries following
the diagram inside the battery box.
(The use of new alkaline batteries
is recommended for maximum
performance).
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten
the screw to secure.
NOTE: If there is no response when the dino is switched on,
please insert new batteries and try switching it on
again.

Disposal of batteries and product

batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they
must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain
substances that can be damaging to the environment and
human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked,
indicatethatthebatterycontainsmorethanthespecied
value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out
in Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the
market after 13th August, 2005.

Press the TALK BUTTON to hear fun
phrases and cool dinosaur facts.
3. SOUND EFFECT BUTTON
Press the SOUND EFFECT BUTTON to
hear cool dinosaur and bulldozer sound
effects.
4. ACTION BUTTON
(DINO MODE ONLY)
Press the ACTION BUTTON to see
Charger’sheadmoveandmouthlightup.
5. LCD SCREEN
The LCD SCREEN will display driver and dinosaur eye animations.
6. AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
To preserve battery life, Charger will shut off automatically after
several minutes without input. Charger can be turned on again by
pressing any button.
Note: If Charger repeatedly shuts off, or has abnormal responses
when switched on, please install brand new batteries and try
switching Charger on again.

ACTIVITIES
1. Dino Mode
In dino mode, pressing the TALK BUTTON will play fun phrases and
cool dinosaur facts. Press the SOUND EFFECT BUTTON or move
Charger to hear dinosaur sound effects. Press the ACTION BUTTON
toseeCharger’sheadmoveandmouthlightup.
2. Vehicle Mode
In vehicle mode, Charger will say fun and encouraging driver
phrases when the TALK BUTTON is pressed. Pressing the SOUND
EFFECT BUTTON or moving Charger will trigger bulldozer sound
effects.

Note:
To switch Charger into dinosaur again, follow the above steps
in reverse order.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct
heatsource.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an
extendedperiod of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow
these steps:
1. Turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit back ON. The unit will now be ready to play with
again.
5. If the unit still does not work, insert a brand new set of batteries.
