Please read these operating instructions carefully as they include valuable advice on safety
and how to use the equipment. Look after these operating instructions carefully.

CAUTION
•Important: In order to guarantee additional
protection, it is recommended that a differential
breaker with an intervention current not greater than
30 mA is installed in the electrical system which
feeds the device. For further information, contact a
qualified electrician.
•Make sure the unit is perfectly dry before using it.
•WARNING: Do not use this appliance near
bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
•This appliance can be used by children from 8
years of age and over, and by persons with limited
physical, sensory or mental abilities or who lack the
relevant experience and knowledge, if they are
suitably supervised or have been educated to use
the appliance safely and made aware of the
associated risks.
•Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
•Children must not perform cleaning and
maintenance procedures unless supervised.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Do not
use your unit if it is not working properly. Do not try
to repair this electrical unit yourself, rather contact
an authorized technician.
•When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug
it after use since the proximity of water presents a
hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
•Only connect this unit to alternating current and
check that the mains supply voltage corresponds
to that indicated on the unit.
•Never immerse this unit in water or other liquids.
•Do not put this unit down where it could fall into
water or other liquids.

•Do not try to pull any electrical appliance out when
it has fallen into water - disconnect the plug from
the power socket immediately.
•Always switch off the unit before putting it down.
•After use always switch the unit off and remove the
plug from the power supply socket. Do not pull on
the wire to remove the plug from the power supply
socket.
•Do not pull the plug out of the power supply socket
when your hands are wet.
•When using the appliance make sure the air intake
and exhaust grilles are never obstructed. This unit
is fitted with a device to guard against overheating
that switches it off immediately when the
temperature gets too high. Should this happen,
move the switch to the 0 position and leave it to
cool for 5 minutes.
•Always allow the unit to cool before putting it away
and never wrap the cord around the unit.
•Check that the cord has not been damaged from
time to time.
•Do not use your unit if it is not working properly, if
it has fallen or if the cord is damaged. Do not try to
repair this electrical unit yourself, rather contact an
authorized technician.
•The elements used to pack the unit (plastic bags,
cardboard box, etc.) must be kept out of reach of
children as they are a potential danger to them.
•This unit must only be used for the purposes for
which it is expressly intended. Any other use is to
be considered improper and therefore dangerous.
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for
damage caused by improper or erroneous use.
•Do not use hair spray while the unit is running.
•To avoid dangerous overheating, it is advisable to
unwind the entire length of the cord.
•Warning - The metal parts overheat if used for too
long. Be careful and allow these parts to cool before
touching them.
Important
This hairdryer conforms to the safety regulations regarding electrical appliances.
This hairdryer has a safety cut-out which will operate in case of overheating. The dryer
will re-set itself after being left to cool for a few minutes, but please check air inlet and
outlet grills are clear before continuing to use the dryer.

Applying/changing accessories
Fit the accessory on the unit so that the reference marks ►◄ correspond, and push until a
click is heard.
To remove or change an accessory pull it out of the unit holding the locking button down.
OPERATING TIPS:
1. Before using this unit, wash your hair and towel dry.
2. Plug the unit into the power supply socket.
3. Dry your hair using this unit without any accessories, before adding shape using the
brushes.
4. Hair that has just been washed and dried can be styled better.
5. The first few times you use this unit it is advisable to practice on small areas of your
hair.
USING THE VARIOUS ACCESSORIES
• Retractable combs thermal brush for tangle free waves & curls, Ø 22 mm
This is designed to create curls and waves quickly. In addition, the metal coating means
that the hair style stays in place longer. To style your hair using this accessory - With the
unit off make the bristles stick out of the metal casing by turning the ring nut at the top of
it clockwise until it stops turning. Then wind a lock of hair around the brush, starting from
the ends and working towards the roots. Switch the unit on and briefly heat your hair,
putting the switch in position 1 or 2. For better hold, let the locks cool in position * for a
few seconds. To release your hair the lock need not be unrolled, simply turn the ring nut
at the end of the brush anticlockwise to retract the bristles into the metal casing. Then pull
the brush out of the curl.
• Thermal bristles with massaging bristles for volume & shine, Ø 25 mm
It is particularly recommended for brushing hair, leaving it shiny and volumised. Plus, as
you are brushing, the rounded bristle tips also massage the scalp.
Important: This accessory is not designed to create curls, as hair could become tangled
up in the bristles when each section is unrolled.
• Air concentrator
The air concentrator allows you to dry your hair quickly and to direct the air to a precise position.
TOURMALINE TECHNOLOGY
Tourmaline is a mineral with unique electric properties.
VALERA hairdryers with “Tourmaline Ionic Technology“ have got internal tourmaline-coated
surfaces. When exposed to high temperatures, they are electrostatically charged and
produce ions in a natural way.
What are ions?
Ions are electrically charged particles found in nature. Negatively charged ions help to
purify the air by neutralising the positively charged ions that, by contrast, reduce its quality
by retaining in the atmosphere many polluting agents.
An abundance of negatively charged ions can be found after a thunder storm or at the
seaside or in the mountains, close to waterfalls and waterways where the feeling of well-
being is due to the increased presence of pure, natural, revitalising air.

Improved hydration of hair
Negatively charged ions help to maintain the proper hydration of your hair.
Conditioning effect on the hair
Improved hydration assists with the conditioning of your hair, has a regenerating effect
and makes it softer and easier to comb, with greater volume and shine.
No electrostatic charge or “fly away”
Negatively charged ions help to reduce static electricity, the “fly away” effect and unwanted
frizzles.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always remove the plug from the power socket before beginning to clean the unit!
This unit can be cleaned using a damp cloth, but it must never be immersed in water or
any other liquid!
Protect your unit from dust. If necessary, clean the air intake and exhaust grilles gently
with a brush.
Remove and clean the accessories used.
This appliance conforms to European Directives 2014/30/EU, 2014/35/EU,
2011/65/EC, 2009/125/EC and Regulation (EC) No. 1275/2008.
GUARANTEE
VALERA guarantees the appliance you have bought at following conditions:
1. The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined by our dealer in the country
of sale. In Switzerland and in the countries subject to the European directive 44/99/CE
the guarantee period is 24 months for domestic use and 6 months for professional or
similar use. The guarantee period starts from the date of purchase as stated on the
present guarantee card regularly filled out and stamped by the dealer or on the sale’s
invoice.
2. The guarantee is applicable only against submission of the present guarantee card or
the sale’s invoice.
3. The guarantee covers the elimination of all defects arisen during the guarantee period
resulting from proven faults in material or workmanship. The elimination of the defects
will be made either by repairing the appliance or exchanging it. The guarantee does not
cover any damage arising from incorrect connection to the power supply, improper
use, breakage, normal wear and non-compliance with the Instructions for Use.
4. All other claims of any nature, including those for eventual damages outside of the
appliance, are excluded, unless our liability is legally mandatory.
5. The guarantee service is carried out free of charge; it does not affect the expiry date of
the guarantee.
6. The guarantee becomes void if repairs are under-taken by unauthorized persons.
For UK only: this guarantee in no way affects your rights under statutory law.
In case of defect, please return the appliance well packed and together with the guarantee
card regularly dated and stamped to one of our Valera Service Centres or to the dealer who
will send it to the official importer for the guarantee service.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not
be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection
point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is
disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the

Lesen Sie die folgende Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch, da sie wichtige
Informationen für Ihre Sicherheit und den korrekten Gebrauch des Geräts enthält.
Verwahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
•Wichtig: als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installation einer
Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem
Bemessungauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im
Badezimmerstromkreis empfohlen. Lassen Sie sich von
Ihrem Elektroinstallateur beraten.
•Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät völlig trocken ist, bevor Sie
es benutzen.
•ACHTUNG: Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe
von Badewannen, Waschbecken oder sonstigen mit
Wasser gefüllten Behältern.
•Diese Geräte können von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von

•Versuchen Sie nicht, ein in Wasser gefallenes Gerät wieder
herauszunehmen, bevor Sie nicht den Netzstecker gezogen
haben!
•Schalten Sie das Gerät erst aus, bevor Sie es ablegen.
•Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch Ihres Gerätes stets den Netz-
stecker, wobei Sie nicht an der Geräteschnur ziehen sollten.
•Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht mit nassen Händen aus der
Steckdose.
•Achten sie während des Gerätebetriebs darauf, dass die
Lufteinlass- und Luftaustritt-Schutzgitter nicht verstopft
werden. Das Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz
ausgestattet, welcher es bei gefährlich hohen Temperaturen
sofort abschaltet. Stellen Sie den Schalter auf 0 und lassen
Sie das Gerät 5 Minuten abkühlen.
•Lassen Sie das Gerät erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es weglegen
und wickeln Sie niemals das Kabel um das Gerät. Kontrollieren
Sie von Zeit zu Zeit, dass das Kabel nicht beschädigt ist.
•Verwenden Sie Ihr Gerät nicht, wenn eine Störung
aufgetreten, es gefallen oder das Kabel beschädigt ist.
Versuchen Sie niemals, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren,
sondern wenden Sie sich an einen Techniker.
•Verpackungsteile des Gerätes (Plastiktüten, Kartons, usw.)
nicht in Reichweite von Kindern lassen. Sie stellen eine
potentielle Gefahr dar.
•Dieses Gerät darf nur für solche Zwecke benutzt werden, für
die es eigens entwickelt wurde. Jeder bestimmungsfremde
Gebrauch stellt eine potentielle Gefahr dar. Der Hersteller haftet
nicht für durch Missbrauch eventuell verursachte Schäden.
•Verwenden Sie keine Sprays, während das Gerät
eingeschaltet ist.
•Strecken Sie das Kabel auf seine ganze Länge aus, da es
sonst zu einer gefährlichen Überhitzung kommen kann.
•Vorsicht - Die Metallteile des Geräts können bei längerem
Betrieb sehr heiß werden. Lassen Sie diese Metallteile erst
abkühlen, bevor Sie sie berühren.
Wichtig
Dieses Gerät entspricht den Sicherheitsvorschriften für Elektrogeräte.
Das Gerät ist mit einem Sicherheitsthermostat ausgestattet und schaltet sich bei
Überhitzung automatisch selbst ab. Nach einer kurzen Betriebspause schaltet sich das

Gerät automatisch wieder ein. Dennoch sollten Sie sich vergewissern, daß die
Lufteinlaß- und -austrittsöffnungen völlig frei sind.
GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNG
Stellung des Schalters
0 = aus
1 = warmer und schwacher Luftstrom
2 = sehr warmer und starker Luftstrom

Aufsätze

Aufsätze montieren/wechseln
Den Aufsatz derart auf das Gerät setzen, dass die jeweiligen Führungen fluchten ►◄ und
den Aufsatz durch leichtes Drücken einrasten lassen.
Den zu wechselnden Aufsatz durch Drücken der Entriegelungstaste vom Gerät abziehen
(UNLOCK).
NÜTZLICHE TIPPS
1. Vor dem Gebrauch des Geräts die Haare waschen und mit einem Handtuch trockenreiben.
2. Den Netzstecker des Geräts in eine Steckdose stecken.
3. Das Haar zunächst nur mit dem Gerät ohne Aufsatz trocknen.
4. Die besten Resultate erzielen Sie mit frisch gewaschenem und trockenem Haar.
5. Am besten behandeln Sie am Anfang zunächst kleine Haarpartien.
VERWENDUNG DER AUFSÄTZE
• Thermo-Bürste mit einziehbaren Kämmen für Wellen & Locken ohne Verheddern, Ø 22 mm
Diese Bürste wurde entwickelt, um in kurzer Zeit Locken mit voluminösen Wellen zu
frisieren. Die Metallummantelung gewährleistet eine längere Haltbarkeit der Frisur. Um das
Haar mit dieser Bürste zu modellieren, bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät den Ring an der Spitze
des Metallkörpers im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag drehen, wodurch die Borsten aus
dem Metallstab ausfahren. Jeweils eine Haarsträhne von den Haarspitzen in Richtung
Haarwurzeln um die Bürste wickeln. Das Gerät einschalten und das Haar kurz anwärmen
(Schalter auf 1 oder 2). Die beste Wirkung wird erzielt, wenn die Haarsträhnen ein paar
Sekunden in der Stellung * abgekühlt werden. Um die Haarsträhne wieder frei zu
bekommen, ist es nicht nötig, sie von der Bürste abzuwickeln; einfach den Ring gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn zurückdrehen, wodurch die Borsten in den Metallstab einfahren. Jetzt kann
die Bürste von der Locke abgezogen werden.
• Thermo-Bürste mit Massage-Borsten für Volumen & Glanz, Ø 25 mm
Die Bürste ist besonders geeignet, um dem Haar Volumen und Glanz zu verleihen. Während
des Bürstens üben die abgerundeten Borsten zudem eine angenehme Kopfhautmassage aus.
Achtung: Dieses Zubehör ist nicht zum Locken machen geeignet, da die Haarsträhnen
beim Ausrollen in den Borsten hängen bleiben könnten.
• Fingerdiffuser
Mit dem Fingerdiffuser kann das Haar schneller getrocknet werden, da er sich punktgenau
auf einzelne Haarpartien richten lässt.
TOURMALINE TECHNOLOGY
Turmalin ist ein Mineral mit besonderen elektrischen Eigenschaften.
Die VALERA Haartrockner mit “Tourmaline Ionic Technology“ haben intern
turmalinbeschichtete Oberflächen, die sich bei hohen Temperaturen elektrostatisch aufladen
und auf natürliche Art Ionen produzieren.
Was sind Ionen?
Ionen sind in der Natur vorhandene elektrisch geladene Teilchen. Die negativ geladenen
Ionen helfen die Luft zu reinigen, indem sie die positiv geladenen Ionen unwirksam machen.
Positiv geladene Ionen dagegen halten den grössten Teil der sich in der Luft befindenden
Schmutzteilchen und tragen deshalb zur Luftverschmutzung bei.
Eine grosse Menge von Ionen mit negativer Ladung gibt es nach einem Gewitter, sowie am
Meer oder in den Bergen, in der Nähe von Wasserfällen und Wasserläufen, wo man sich
wohl fühlt, weil dort die Luft reiner, natürlicher und erfrischender ist.

Idealer Feuchtigkeitszustand der Haare
Negativ geladene Ionen helfen, dass die Haare ihren lebensnotwendigen Feuchtigkeitsgrad
bewahren.
Die negativ geladenen Ionen micronisieren die Grösse der Wasserteilchen der nassen
Haare, ermöglichen somit die Aufnahme einer grösseren Menge Wasser innerhalb des
Haarschaftes und stellen den natürlichen Feuchtigkeitsgrad der Haare wieder her.
Pflegeeffekt
Der höhere Feuchtigkeitsgrad macht die Pflege der Haare leichter, weil er sie weicher und
daher leichter kämmbar macht und ihnen mehr Volumen und Glanz gibt.
Keine elektrostatische Ladung oder hochstehende Haare.
Die Ionen mit negativer Ladung helfen der statische Elektrizität, den „Fly-away-Effekt“
(abstehende Haare) und die Kräuselungen der Haare zu reduzieren.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen des Geräts immer den Netzstecker!
Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch und tauchen Sie es niemals in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten!
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Staub. Reinigen Sie im Bedarfsfall die Luftansaug- und
Luftaustritt-Schutzgitter vorsichtig mit einer Bürste oder einem Pinsel.
Nehmen Sie die Aufsätze ab und reinigen Sie sie.
Dieses Gerät erfüllt die Bestimmungen der europäischen Richtlinien 2014/30/EU,
2014/35/EU, 2011/65/EC, 2009/125/EC und der Verordnung (EC) Nr. 1275/2008.
GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
VALERA leistet für dieses Gerät – zusätzlich zu der gesetzlichen Gewährleistung des
Händlers aus Kaufvertrag – dem Endabnehmer gegenüber eine Garantie zu nachstehenden
Bedingungen:
1. Für dieses Gerät gelten die Garantiebedingungen unseres Händlers im Verkaufsland. In
der Schweiz und in den Ländern, wo die europäische Verordnung 44/99/CE gilt, beträgt
die Garantiezeit 24 Monate bei privatem Gebrauch und 6 Monate bei gewerblichem oder
einem solchen gleichzusetzenden Gebrauch. Die Garantiezeit beginnt am Kauftag des
Gerätes, der durch die ausgefüllte Garantiekarte oder einen sonstigen Kaufbeleg
nachzuweisen ist.
2. Die Garantie wird nur bei Vorlage der Garantiekarte oder eines Kaufbeleges geleistet.
3. Die Garantieleistung umfasst die Behebung aller innerhalb der Garantiezeit auftretenden
Mängel des Gerätes, die nachweislich auf Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern beruhen. Die
Behebung der Mängel kann nach unserer Wahl durch Instandsetzung oder durch
Umtausch des Gerätes erfolgen. Nicht unter Garantie fallen Mängel oder Schäden, die
durch nicht vorschriftsmässigen elektrischen Anschluss, durch unsachgemässe
Handhabung sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanleitung entstanden sind.
4. Weitere Ansprüche irgendwelcher Art, insbesondere solche auf Ersatz ausserhalb des
Gerätes entstandener Schäden, sind – soweit die Haftung nicht zwingend gesetzlich
angeordnet ist – ausgeschlossen.
5. Die Garantieleistungen werden ohne Berechnung durchgeführt; sie bewirken weder eine
Verlängerung noch einen Neubeginn der Garantiezeit.
6. Diese Garantie erlischt bei Eingriff nicht autorisierter Stellen.

CONSEILS DE SECURITE
•Important: pour garantir une protection supplémentaire, il
est conseillé d’installer dans l’installation électrique
alimentant l’appareil un interrupteur différentiel avec un
courant d’intervention ne dépassant pas 30 mA. Contactez
votre électrotechnicien de confiance pour tout
renseignement complémentaire.
•Verifiez que l’appareil soit complètement sec avant de
l’utiliser
•ATTENTION : ne pas utiliser cet appareil à proximité
de baignoires, de lavabos ou autres récipients
contenant de l'eau.
•Il est requit un âge minimum de 8 ans pour l’utilisation de
cet appareil. L’utilisation de cet appareil par des personnes
aux capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites
est fortement déconseillée à moins qu’elles soient
surveillées ou qu’elles aient été instruites correctement

•Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau ou autres liquides.
•Evitez de poser l’appareil en un lieu non à l’abri de l’eau ou
d’autres liquides.
•Il est interdit de plonger la main dans l’eau pour récupérer
l’appareil électrique. Détachez immédiatement la prise de
courant.
•Eteignez toujours l’appareil avant de le poser.
•Après l’emploi, éteignez toujours l’appareil et débranchez-
le. Ne retirez pas la fiche de la prise de courant en tirant sur
le cordon.
•N’enlevez pas la fiche de la prise de courant avec les mains
mouillées.
•Utilisez l’appareil de manière à ce que les grilles d’entrée
et de sortie de l’air ne soient jamais obstruées. L’appareil
est équipé d’une protection contre la surchauffe qui l’éteint
immédiatement en cas de température excessive. Dans ce
cas, placez l’interrupteur sur la position 0 et laissez
l’appareil refroidir pendant 5 minutes.
•Laissez toujours l’appareil refroidir avant de le ranger et
n’enroulez jamais le cordon autour de l’appareil. Contrôlez
périodiquement que le cordon n’est pas endommagé.
•Les éléments qui constituent l’emballage de l’appareil
(sacs plastique, boîte en carton etc) ne doivent pas être
laissés à portée des enfants car ils représentent une
source de danger potentiel.
•Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé que pour l’emploi pour
lequel il a été expressément conçu. Tout autre usage est
impropre et donc dangereux. Le fabricant ne peut être
considéré comme responsable des éventuels dommages
dérivant d’un usage impropre et erroné.
•N’utilisez pas de laques ou autres produits pour cheveux
lorsque l’appareil est en marche.
•Pour éviter toute surchauffe dangereuse, il est recommandé
de dérouler entièrement le cordon d’alimentation.
•Attention - Les pièces métalliques surchauffent si on les
utilise trop longtemps. Faites donc attention et laissez ces
pièces refroidir avant de les toucher.

Cet appareil est conforme aux dispositions de sécurité relatives aux appareils électriques.
Cet appareil est muni d’un thermostat de sécurité. En cas de surchauffe il s’arrête
automatiquement. Après un court délai il se remet en marche. Cependant avant toute

Appliquer/remplacer un accessoire
Appliquez l’accessoire sur l’appareil de manière à faire correspondre les références ►◄,
jusqu’à son enclenchement.
Pour enlever ou remplacer l’accessoire, libérez-le de l’appareil en appuyant, sans le
relâcher, sur le bouton de déblocage (UNLOCK).
CONSEILS POUR L’EMPLOI
1. Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, lavez-vous les cheveux et séchez-les avec une serviette.
2. Introduisez la fiche de l’appareil dans la prise de courant.
3. Séchez vos cheveux en utilisant l’appareil sans accessoires avant de donner la forme
avec les brosses.
4. Les cheveux propres et secs permettent d’obtenir les meilleures coiffures.
5. Lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil pour la première fois, exercez-vous sur quelques
mèches et non sur toute la chevelure.
EMPLOI DES DIFFERENTS ACCESSOIRES
• Brosse thermique avec peignes rétractables pour des vagues et des boucles
parfaites, Ø 22 mm
Elle a été étudiée pour créer rapidement des boucles et des ondulations volumineuses. En
outre, le revêtement métallique permet de conserver plus longtemps la coiffure. Pour
modeler les cheveux avec cet accessoire, avec l’appareil éteint, faites sortir les poils du
corps métallique en tournant complètement la bague placée à son extrémité dans le sens
des aiguilles d’une montre. Enroulez ensuite la mèche de cheveux sur la brosse en partant
de la pointe jusqu’à la racine. Allumez l’appareil et laissez chauffer brièvement les cheveux
en positionnant l’interrupteur sur la position 1 ou 2. Pour plus de tenue, laissez les mèches
refroidir pendant quelques secondes sur la position *. Pour libérer les cheveux, il n’est pas
nécessaire de dérouler la mèche. Il suffit de tourner la bague placée en bas de la brosse
dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre pour faire rentrer les poils dans le corps
métallique. Ainsi, vous pouvez extraire la brosse de la boucle.
• Brosse thermique avec soies-massage pour volume et brilliance, Ø 25 mm
Idéale pour brosser les cheveux en leur apportant volume et brillance. De plus, la pointe
arrondie de ses poils exerce une action massante sur le cuir chevelu pendant le brossage.
Attention! Cette brosse ne convient pas pour boucler les cheveux. En effet, en se déroulant,
les mèches pourraient rester emmêlées dans les poils.
• Embout concentrateur d’air
Le concentrateur permet de sécher rapidement les cheveux et de diriger le débit d’air avec précision.
TOURMALINE TECHNOLOGY
La tourmaline est un minéral avec des spéciales propriétés électriques.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Débranchez l’appareil avant de le nettoyer !
Vous pouvez nettoyer votre appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon humide mais ne l’immergez jamais
dans de l’eau ni dans tout autre liquide !
Protégez votre appareil contre la poussière. Si nécessaire, nettoyez délicatement avec une
brosse ou un pinceau les grilles d’entrée et de sortie de l’air.
Enlevez et nettoyez également les accessoires utilisés.

AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA

•Adoperare l’apparecchio in modo che le griglie di entrata e di

dotato di una protezione dal surriscaldamento che lo spegne
immediatamente in caso di temperatura eccessiva. In questo
caso portare l’interruttore sulla posizione 0 e lasciare
raffreddare l’apparecchio per 5 minuti.
•Fare sempre raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di riporlo e non
avvolgere mai il cordone intorno all’apparecchio.
Periodicamente controllare che il cavo non sia danneggiato.
•Gli elementi che costituiscono l’imballo dell’apparecchio
(sacchetti di plastica, scatola di cartone, ecc.) non devono
essere lasciati alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziale
fonte di pericolo.
•Questo apparecchio deve essere destinato solo all’uso per il
quale è stato espressamente concepito. Ogni altro uso è da
considerarsi improprio, quindi pericoloso. Il costruttore non può
essere considerato responsabile per eventuali danni derivanti da

•Non usare spray per capelli con l’apparecchio in funzione.

Importante:

Applicare/sostituire un accessorio
Innestate l’accessorio sull’apparecchio in maniera tale da fare corrispondere i riferimenti ►◄,
sino a sentire uno scatto. Per rimuovere o sostituire l’accessorio, sfilarlo dall’apparecchio
tenendo premuto il pulsante di sblocco (UNLOCK).
CONSIGLI PER L’USO
1. Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, lavare i capelli e asciugarli con un asciugamani.
2. Inserite la spina dell’apparecchio nella presa di corrente.
3. Asciugate i capelli utilizzando l’apparecchio senza accessori prima di dare forma con le
spazzole.
4. Capelli appena lavati e asciugati permettono lo styling migliore.
5. Le prime volte che si usa l’apparecchio é consigliabile esercitarsi su piccole aree della
capigliatura.
IMPIEGO DEI VARI ACCESSORI
• Spazzola termica con pettini retrattili per onde e boccoli perfetti, Ø 22 mm
È stata studiata per creare in modo veloce riccioli ed onde voluminose. Inoltre il rivestimento
metallico permette di mantenere più a lungo l’acconciatura. Per modellare i capelli con
questo accessorio, con l’apparecchio spento, far fuoriuscire le setole dalla corpo metallico
ruotando la ghiera posta in cima ad esso in senso orario sino a fine corsa. Avvolgere quindi
una ciocca di capelli alla spazzola partendo dalle punte sino alla radice. Accendere
l’apparecchio e scaldare brevemente i capelli posizionando l’interruttore sulla posizione 1
o 2. Per una maggiore tenuta far raffreddare le ciocche qualche secondo sulla posizione
*. Per liberare i capelli non occorre srotolare la ciocca: è sufficiente ruotare in senso
antiorario la ghiera posta alla fine della spazzola per fare rientrare le setole nel corpo
metallico. A questo punto estraete la spazzola dal ricciolo.
• Spazzola termica con setole massaggianti per volume e lucentezza, Ø 25 mm
È particolarmente indicata per spazzolare i capelli donando loro volume e lucentezza.
Inoltre, durante la spazzolatura, la punta arrotolata delle setole permette di esercitare un
effetto massaggiante della cute.
Attenzione: questo accessorio non è adatto per creare riccioli in quanto, in fase di
srotolamento, le ciocche potrebbero rimanere impigliate nelle setole.
• Concentratore d’aria
Il concentratore permette di asciugare velocemente i capelli e di dirigere il flusso d’aria
con precisione.
TOURMALINE TECHNOLOGY
La tormalina è un minerale con particolari caratteristiche elettriche.
Gli apparecchi VALERA con “Tourmaline Ionic Technology” sono dotati di superfici rivestite
alla tormalina che sottoposta alle alte temperature si carica elettrostaticamente producendo
ioni in maniera naturale.
Cosa sono gli ioni?
Gli ioni sono particelle cariche elettricamente presenti in natura. Gli ioni carichi
negativamente aiutano a purificare l’aria neutralizzando gli ioni carichi positivamente che,
al contrario, contribuiscono al suo deterioramento trattenendo nell’atmosfera gran parte
degli agenti inquinanti. Si rileva una grande abbondanza di ioni con carica negativa dopo

Migliore idratazione dei capelli
Gli ioni con carica negativa aiutano a preservare la giusta idratazione dei capelli. Essi infatti
micronizzano le particelle d’acqua, presenti sui capelli appena lavati, permettendone
l’assorbimento di una maggiore quantità all’interno dello stelo, in modo da restaurare
l’equilibrio di umidità naturale del capello.
Effetto balsamo sui capelli
La migliore idratazione favorisce il condizionamento dei vostri capelli, ha un effetto
rigenerante e li rende più morbidi e facili da pettinare, con più volume e lucentezza.
No carica elettrostatica o “fly away”
Gli ioni con carica negativa aiutano a ridurre l’elettricità statica e l’effetto “fly away” dei
capelli (capelli rizzi) e le increspature.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di pulire l’apparecchio staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente! Potete pulire
il vostro apparecchio con un panno umido, ma non immergetelo mai nell’acqua o in
qualsiasi altro liquido! Proteggete il vostro apparecchio dalla polvere. Se necessario, pulite
delicatamente con una spazzola o un pennello le griglie di entrata e di uscita dell’aria.
Rimuovete e pulite anche gli accessori utilizzati.

3. La garanzia copre l’eliminazione di tutti quei difetti insorti durante il periodo di garanzia

6. La garanzia decade se l’apparecchio viene manomesso o riparato da persone non

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD
•Importante: para garantizar una protección
suplementaria, se aconseja colocar en la instalación
eléctrica de alimentación del aparato, un interruptor
diferencial con una corriente de intervención que no
supere los 30 mA. Para mayores informaciones,
dirigirse al electrotécnico de confianza.
•Antes de usar el aparato, controle que esté bien seco.
•ATENCIÓN: no utilizar este aparato cerca de
bañeras, lavabos u otros recipientes que
contengan agua.
•Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños a partir de los
8 años de edad y también por personas con
capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas,
o carentes de experiencia y de conocimiento, siempre
que lo hagan bajo las instrucciones y la vigilancia de
una persona que les haya explicado el modo de uso del
aparato y los peligros que puede implicar.
•Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato.
•La limpieza y el mantenimiento no deben ser efectuados
por los niños sin vigilancia.
•No utilice el aparato si está averiado. No intente reparar
nunca el aparato. Si está averiado, tiene que llevarlo a
un centro técnico autorizado. Si el cable de
alimentación está dañado, debe ser sustituido por el
fabricante o por el servicio de asistencia técnica o por
una persona con una calificación similar, para prevenir
cualquier riesgo.
•Cuando se utilice el aparato en el baño, desenchúfelo
una vez que haya terminado. La proximidad del agua
supone un peligro, incluso cuando está apagado.
•Conecte el aparato sólo a corriente alterna y controle
que la tensión de red corresponda con la indicada en el
mismo.

•No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni en otros líquidos.
•No apoye el aparato en un lugar desde el cual pueda
caer dentro de agua u otros líquidos.
•No intente agarrar un aparato eléctrico que esté dentro
del agua: desenchúfelo inmediatamente de la toma de
corriente.
•Siempre que apoye el aparato, apáguelo.
•Cuando termine de usar el aparato, apáguelo y
desenchúfelo de la toma de corriente. No desenchufe el
aparato tirando del cable de corriente.
•No desenchufe el aparato con las manos mojadas.
•Cuando utilice el aparato, controle que las rejillas de
entrada y salida del aire no queden obstruidas. En caso
de temperatura excesiva, el aparato se apaga de forma
automática ya que posee un sistema de protección. En
este caso, ponga el interruptor en la posición 0 para
apagar el aparato y déjelo enfriar durante 5 minutos.
•Antes de guardar el aparato, déjelo enfriar; no enrolle
nunca el cable eléctrico alrededor del aparato. Controle
periódicamente que el cable no esté dañado.
•Los elementos del embalaje del aparato (bolsas de
plástico, caja de cartón, etc.) no tienen que dejarse
nunca al alcance de los niños ya que son peligrosos.
•Este aparato tiene que destinarse sólo a los usos para
los cuales ha sido proyectado. Cualquier otro uso se
considerará impropio y, por consiguiente, peligroso. El
fabricante no se hace responsable de los posibles daños
derivados de un uso impropio o erróneo.
•Se prohíbe usar cualquier tipo de spray con el aparato
en marcha.
•Para evitar recalentamientos peligrosos, se aconseja
desenrollar completamente el cable de alimentación.
•Atención - Las partes metálicas se recalientan cuando
se utilizan por mucho tiempo. Antes de tocarlas, déjelas
enfriar.

Este aparato es conforme a las disposiciones de seguridad relativas a los aparatos
eléctricos.
Este aparato está provisto de un termostato de seguridad. En caso de sobrecalentamiento
se para automáticamente. Despues de un corto espacio de tiempo vuelve a funcionar.
Sin embargo antes de usarlo otra vez, verifique que la entrada y salida de aire del
aparato estàn perfectamente limpias.
