6. Installation / end of work
Preparing the gun for the first start-up: Screw in the compressed air connection
and tighten it firmly using a 13 mm open-end wrench or ring spanner, if
necessary glue it in place.
With optional pressure regulator instead of air volume regulation: Screw the
pressure gauge included in the extent of delivery into the pressure regulating
device, if necessary glue it in place.
Start-up: Unscrew the pressure container and fill the medium into the con-
tainer. Alternative: When using a 1 litre can, pierce the protective film and im-
merse the riser pipe in the medium. Then hand-tighten the 1 litre can into the
threaded holder of the pressure cup gun. Make sure that the can is properly
screwed to the gun!!
Then screw the container cover with the gun hand-tight onto the pressure con-
tainer. Do not use any tools for this! Connect the gun to the compressed air
supply via the quick coupling. By pressing the trigger you put the pressure cup
gun into operation.
The spray pattern can be influenced by the following factors::
Material quantity via stop screw/nozzle needle
Adjusting the intake pressure
Spraying air via knurled screw on gun head
For fine jet - add a lot of air
For coarse jet - add little air
Distance between spray nozzle and object
Angle of the gun to the object
End of work: Vent the pressure container using the exhaust air valve (pos. 27 -
only for 3000 FGR). Disconnect the device from the compressed air supply after
each use. Clean the device according to the instructions given in point 7.
Attention:
Never operate the trigger while the container is under pres-
sure but the pressure cup gun is not connected to the com-
pressed air source. This can push the medium into the air ducts
and render the pressure cup gun unusable!
7. Maintenance and care
Clean the compressed air device after each use. Fill the pressure tank with
cleaning medium and flush the pressure cup gun and the hoses (if present) by
starting the device.
We recommend benzine or commercially available turpentine-based clean-ers.
Do not use aggressive cleaning media! Following the maintenance instructions
will ensure a long service life and trouble-free operation for this quality product.
