*Function.
The ALFA(NET) D1-DP is a digital alarm thermostat for wall mounting. The readout is in
tenth degrees Celsius and has large 26 mm displays. The unit has two LED indications with
10 mm LED’s one for ‘Alarm’ (red) and one for ‘ON’ (green) indication.
The thermostat can be programmed with parameter 15 for cooling or heating.
The ALFANET D1-DP is provided with an RS 485 Network connection, so it can be read out
and adjusted on the Alfanet.
* Installation.
On the topside op the ALFA(NET) D1 DP is shown how the sensor, power supply and relay
are connected.
A few seconds after connecting the ALFA(NET) D1 DP to the power supply the green LED
‘on’ lit and the measured temperature appears in the display.
When the alarm relay is activated, the LED 'on' will light-up in the display.

*Control.
TheALFA(NET) D1-DP alarmthermostatcanbycontrolledbyfourpushbuttonsonthefront;
SET - view / change set point.
UP - increase set point.
DOWN - decrease set point.
RESET ALARM - reset an alarm (Buzzer off).
*Viewing set point.
By pushing the SET key the set point appears in the display. The led 'set' starts blinking.
A few seconds after releasing the keys the set point disappears and the measured
temperature is shown in the display.
*Changing set points.
Push the SET key and the set point appears in the display. Release the SET key.
Now push andhold the SET keyagain and together with the UP orDOWN keys the set point
canbe changed.Afew secondsafterreleasing thekeysthe measuredtemperatureis shown
again in the display.
*Error messages.
In the display of the ALFA(NET) D1-DP the following error messages can appear:
Er - Sensor broken. Solution: - Check if the sensor is connected correctly.
- Check the sensor (1000at 25C).
- Replace the sensor.
EE - Settings are lost. Solution: - Reprogram the settings.

*Setting internal parameters.
Next to the adjustment of the set point, some other internal settings are possible, sensor-
offset, relay function and alarm settings.
BypushingtheDOWN key morethan5seconds,you enterthe'internalprogrammingmenu'.
In the left display the upper and lower segments are blinking. With the UP and DOWN keys
the required parameter can be selected (see table for the parameters).
If the required parameter is selected, the value can be read-out by pushing the SET key.
Pushing the UP and DOWN keys, allows you to change the value of this parameter.
Ifafter20 secondsnokeyis pushed,theALFA(NET) D1 DP changesto it'snormaloperation
mode.

*Function diagram.
*Adjustment sensor.
The sensor can be adjusted by using the Sensor Offset (parameter 04). Indicates the
ALFA(NET) D1 DP e.g. 2.1C to much, the Sensor Offset has to de decreased with 2.1C.
