Allour products fulfil strict quality requirements
andlegalstipulationsintheEU.In orderto
ensurethequality,ourproductsregularlygo
throughan extraqualitycheck,bothbyan
internalqualitydepartmentandbyspecialized
external organisations.If, allprecautionary
measuresnotwithstanding,problemsshould
occur,please makeappealtoourwarranty
(seeguarantee conditions).
General Warranty Conditions Concerning
Consumer Products (for EU):
•All consumer productsare subject to a 24-
monthwarrantyon productionflawsand
defective materialasfromtheoriginaldateof
purchase.
•Velleman® can decide to replace anarticle
with anequivalentarticle,or to refundtheretail
value totallyorpartiallywhen the complaintis
validand a freerepairorreplacementofthe
articleisimpossible,or if the expensesare out
ofproportion.
Youwillbedeliveredareplacingarticle ora
refund atthevalue of100% ofthe purchase
price in case ofa flaw occurredin the first year
afterthe dateofpurchaseand delivery,ora
replacing articleat50% ofthe purchase price
or arefund atthe value of50% ofthe retail
valueincaseofa flawoccurredinthesecond
yearafterthedateofpurchase and delivery.
• Notcovered by warranty:
- alldirectorindirectdamagecaused after
deliverytothearticle(e.g.by oxidation,
shocks, falls,dust,dirt, humidity...),and by the
article,as wellasits contents(e.g. data loss),
compensationforloss ofprofits;
- consumablegoods,partsor accessoriesthat
aresubjecttoan agingprocessduringnormal
use,suchasbatteries(rechargeable,non-
rechargeable,built-inorreplaceable),lamps,
rubberparts,drivebelts...(unlimited list);
- flawsresultingfromfire,water damage,
lightning,accident,naturaldisaster,etc.…;
- flawscauseddeliberately,negligentlyor
resultingfromimproperhandling,negligent
maintenance,abusiveuseor use contraryto
the manufacturer’sinstructions;
- damage caused bya commercial,
professionalor collectiveuseofthearticle(the
warrantyvaliditywillbe reducedtosix (6)
months whenthe articleisused
professionally);
- damage resultingfroman inappropriate
packing andshipping ofthearticle;
- alldamage causedby modification,repair or
alterationperformedbyathirdpartywithout
written permissionby Velleman®.
•Articles to berepairedmust be delivered to
yourVelleman®dealer,solidlypacked
(preferablyintheoriginalpackaging),and be
completed with theoriginalreceiptofpurchase
andaclearflawdescription.
•Hint: Inorder to save oncostand time,
please reread the manual andcheckif the flaw
iscausedbyobviouscausespriorto
presentingthearticleforrepair.Notethat
returning anon-defectivearticlecanalso
involvehandling costs.
•Repairsoccurringafterwarrantyexpiration
aresubjecttoshipping costs.
•Theaboveconditionsare withoutprejudice
toallcommercialwarranties.
