The HAM982K home alarm set comprises:

It is important to know if the N.O. contact is of the positive or the negative type. If it is a positive type, connection
should be made as shown above. If it is a negative type, the switch should be on the black (-) wire.

Connect the 16.5Vac output terminals to the device's input terminals. Make sure its power consumption does not
exceed the maximum rating of the adapter, and that the connection wires are firmly fixed to the terminals.
Then plug the power plug into a 230Vac mains socket.
The power adapter is for indoor use only.

b. PCB layout

6. Connection terminal block:
Tamper: if a tamper switch is required, connect these terminals to a 24h
normally closed (NC) zone in the alarm control panel. Opening the
housing will trigger a tamper signal.
12Vdc: connect (+) to an 8-16V power source, usually from the alarm control
panel. Connect (-) to the common grounding point.
Alarm: the alarm output relay of the detector. Connect these terminals to a
normally closed (NC) zone in the alarm control panel.
c. Installation
•Install the detector indoors, on a stable surface with a clear view on the protection area.
•Avoid mounting where hot or cold air may blow directly onto the device and where objects
in the detection field may change temperature rapidly (heating or air-conditioning devices).
•Considering the detection angle of the device (see figure on the right), corner mounting is
recommended, at a height of 2 to 3 meters.
Procedure:
1. Open the cover by inserting a small screw driver into the edge of the unit and turning it to release the cover.
2. Remove the PCB by releasing the two fixing screws from the support post - DO NOT DROP THE PCB!
3. Numerous "knockouts" are provided on the back plate. Punch the one which will provide the best cable entry.
4. The two fixing holes on the back of the back plate are for surface mounting. The two fixing holes on the left and
right of the back plate are for corner mounting. Fix the back plate firmly on the wall with the two enclosed screws.
5. Put the PCB back onto the back plate and fix it firmly. Connect the wires to the terminal block.
6. Clip the front cover back in place on the back plate. See to it that the tamper switch is depressed when the front
cover is in place.

d. Testing
a. Apply 12V DC power and allow 3-5 minutes for the detector to warm up and stabilise before testing.
b. Walk into the protected area at a speed of 1 step per second and watch the LED.
c. The alarm will be triggered when movement is detected. If the pulse count jumper is set to "harsh", 2 detections
need to be made in 12 seconds time for the alarm to be triggered.
d. If proper detection does not occur during the walk tests, relocating or re-aiming the detector may be required.

b. Connections
BATTERY: connect the red (+) wire to the positive and the black (-) wire to the negative terminal of the battery. The
battery should be of the 12V / 1.2Ah sealed lead acid rechargeable type. It is protected by a 2.5A resettable
fuse and is charged by a current limiting regulated voltage source in the system.
1, 2 the device requires a 16.5Vac power supply, min. 1.5A at 50 or 60 Hz. The primary side of the transformer
must be connected to an unswitched receptacle.
3 This terminal provides an unswitched +12V output power referring to the common ground. It gives continuous
output power, even if the device is unarmed. Suitable for e.g. smoke detectors, control keypads etc. This
terminal is equipped with a 750mA resettable fuse.
4 This terminal provides a switched +12V output power referring to the common ground when the system is
armed. It is provided for devices that require switched power for resetting, such as glass-break detectors and
smoke detectors that require a power-down to reset. This terminal is equipped with a 750mA resettable fuse.
3+4 These terminals share the same power bus. Combined power for these outputs should not exceed 750mA.
5 Common ground (-)
6 This terminal provides a continuous +12V output power at normal (= no alarm) condition that is switched off
when an alarm occurs. It is intended for alarm devices with a built-in battery that remain quiet as long as there
is an incoming voltage (hold-off voltage) and that are activated (on battery power) when the voltage is cut.
7 This terminal provides a continuous +12V output power upon and after an alarm condition until the system is
disarmed or reset by the user code. It is equipped with a 2.5A resettable fuse. This output is intended for alarm
devices that switch on when there is incoming power (e.g.: SV/PSL3x siren + strobe).

8 Common ground
9 This terminal provides +12V output power upon alarm condition during the time period set in the alarm timer. It
is ideal for a siren or alarm bell. The output is equipped with a 2.5A resettable fuse.
10-13 These terminals are the connection points for remote switches for arm-disarm control (optional). These
switches need to be of the 'momentary contact' type and equipped with 2 LEDs (home/away LED and status
LED). Up to 3 of these switches can be connected in parallel. Switches that can be used are HAA80 (key
switch), HAA85 (security keypad) and HAA85WP (security keypad – waterproof).

14-16 These terminals have no function.
17-28 These terminals are protection zones 1-8 and their common ground
terminals. The zones are EOL (End of Line), with a 2.2kΩresistor.
NC (normally closed) contacts are to be wired in series with the EOL
resistor, whereas NO (normally open) contacts are to be wired in parallel with the EOL resistor. The function of
the zones and their response times are programmable via the system programming options.
17=zone 1 ; 19=zone 2 ; 20=zone 3 ; 22=zone 4 ; 23=zone 5 ; 25=zone 6 ; 26=zone 7 ; 28=zone 8.
18, 21, 24, 27: common ground.
IMPORTANT: the cabinet's (NC) tamper switch is pre-wired to zone 8 internally. We suggest you always keep
zone 8 as a 24h protection zone.
DAP jumper: DAP means Direct Access to Programming: this jumper is provided to set the system in programming
mode in case the master code is forgotten or lost.

7. Factory Settings
These are the factory settings – they can be modified if they are not applicable for your situation. Refer to the next
chapter ("8. Programming the Panel") for details on how to modify the settings.
The factory settings allow for the system to be operated as a local alarm panel without programming except for the
master and user codes.

8. Programming the Panel
BEWARE: to avoid triggering by the tamper switch, make sure the cabinet is firmly closed before applying power to
the system. Also, do not install a battery after power-on but before a user code is programmed: the tamper switch will
trigger the alarm instantly, but there is no user code to turn it off and the master code cannot be used for disarming.
The panel can be programmed from the system keypad. Enter programming mode, then key in the 2-digit
Programming Location or address, followed immediately by the desired programming values (program data), then
press the '#' key to store the data. The system will either confirm storage with 2 beeps, or signal an unsuccessful
storage attempt with 5 beeps. If you are not sure of the values that have been entered, program the programming
location again. When programming is finished, press the '' key twice to exit the programming mode.
a. Enter Programming mode
To enter the programming mode, enter either the factory set master code (1234) or your own master code (when
set), then press the '' key twice to confirm your entry. The console will beep twice to confirm that the system is in
programming mode – the PROGRAM LED will light up.
If the factory set master code was replaced and the new master code is lost, use the DAP jumper to override the
entry code and enter the programming mode directly. The DAP jumper is located on the master circuit board. Follow
this procedure precisely to use the DAP jumper:
1) Disconnect the power supply including both AC power and the backup battery.
2) Set the jumper from the OFF to the ON position.
3) Reconnect the power supply, the console will beep continuously.
4) Put the DAP jumper back to OFF ; the beeping stops and the PROGRAM LED is on.
5) The system is now in programming mode and ready to receive new data.
6) The DAP jumper should be left in the OFF position after programming.

b. Edit the Master Code (location 01)
1. Enter '01' (the location of the master code)
2. Enter the new master code (minimum 2 and maximum 5 digits)
3. Validate the new master code with '#' – the previous code will be erased.
c. Setting User Codes (location 11-18)
1. Enter the location of the user code: 11 (user 1), 12 (user 2), 13 (3), 14 (4), 15 (5), 16 (6), 17 (7), 18 (user 8).
2. Enter the new user code (minimum 2 and maximum 5 digits)
Usually one user code is required to arm/disarm the system. User codes 2 to 8 are optional.
3. Validate the new user code with '#' – the previous code for that location will be erased.
To invalid a code, enter the location number and press '#' immediately to erase the existing code.
d. Configuring the protection zones (location 21-28)
1. Enter the location of the zone: 21 (zone 1), 22 (zone 2), 23 (3), 24 (4), 25 (5), 26 (6), 27 (7), 28 (zone 8).
2. Enter code 1: triggering mode:
0= single trigger: the zone can only give alarm once until the system and thus the zone is reset.
1= multiple trigger (default for all zones): the zone can be re-triggered after an alarm if it is still armed.
3. Enter code 2: response delay mode:
0= instant: there is no entry delay ; the alarm is triggered instantly (default zones 3, 4, 5, 6).
1= entry delay 1: there is an entry delay according to the time set on the entry delay timer 1 (default zones 1, 2).
2= entry delay 2: there is an entry delay according to the time set on the entry delay timer 2.
3= 24h-instant: the zone ALWAYS gives alarm when triggered, armed or not (default zones 7, 8).
4. Enter code 3: response time: 0=25ms, 1=250ms, 3=500ms (default for all channels), 4=750ms.
5. Validate the new configuration with '#' – the previous configuration will be erased.
e. Setting the Exit Delay Time / Beep (location 30)
1. Enter the location: '30'.
2. Enter code 1: exit beep: the system beeps during the exit delay period:
'0'= disabled / '1'= enabled (default).
3. Enter the exit delay: 2-999 seconds (default = 60s)
4. Validate the new setting with '#'.
f. Setting the Entry Delay Time / Beep (location 31-32)
1. Enter the location: '31' (entry delay 1) or '32' (entry delay 2).
2. Enter code 1: entry beep: the system beeps during the entry delay period:
'0'= disabled / '1'= enabled (default).
3. Enter the entry delay: 2-999 seconds (default entry delay 1 = 30s ; entry delay 2 = 60s)
4. Validate the new setting with '#'.
g. Setting the Siren Duration (location 33)
1. Enter the location: '33'.
2. Enter code 1: the system will activate its timing alarm output (terminal 9) to generate short signals when the
system is armed (2 signals) or disarmed (1 signal): '0'= disabled (default) / '1'= enabled.
3. Enter the siren time: 2-999 seconds (default = 300s)
4. Validate the new setting with '#'.

h. Setting 'Forced to Arm' or 'Arm Prohibited' (location 40)
1. Enter the location: '40'.
2. Enter code:
0= FORCED TO ARM: (default) a triggered zone will be isolated after the exit delay expired, but the system will be
armed. The faulty zone(s) will be shown in the zone LEDs.
WARNING: an isolated zone is not protected!
1= ARM PROHIBITED: a triggered zone will cause the entire system not to be armed until that zone is cleared or
manually isolated. After the exit delay, the system will emit 5 beeps to indicate it is not armed. The zone LED(s)
will indicate the faulty zone(s). See "6.a. Control Console" for more details on the 'arm prohibited' LED.
A faulty zone that is manually isolated after the 'arm prohibited' is considered an isolated zone in normal operation.
The system will now be armed after the exit delay.
3. Validate the new setting with '#'.
i. Setting the 'handover' function (location 41)
1. Enter the location: '41'.
2. Enter code:
0= DISABLED: (default) the system is in normal operation. All protection zones' functions are according to the
zone configuration settings.
1= ENABLED: in handover condition, if a delay zone is triggered first, all instant zones (except 24h-instant zones)
will be disabled during the entry delay period. With this feature, we recommend the owner sets the motion sensors
for interior protection to instant zones and the main door protection to a delay zone. This way, the system will
always give instant alarm when the premises are not entered through the main door.
3. Validate the new setting with '#'.
j. Setting the Power-up Delay (location 85)
1. Enter the location: '85'.
2. Enter code:
0= DISABLED (default)
1= ENABLED
-The purpose of power-up delay is to allow the system to stabilize and to charge the backup battery upon power-
up (when the backup battery is exhausted).
-The power-up delay is 5 minutes. The system suppresses all the alarm outputs.
-During the power-up delay period, the AC POWER and BATTERY LEDs are flashing alternately.
3. Validate the new setting with '#'.
k. Setting the Periodic Battery Test (location 86)
1. Enter the location: '86'.
2. Enter code:
0= DISABLED (default)
1= DAILY – 24 HOURS
2= WEEKLY – 7 DAYS
-When periodic battery testing is selected, the system will automatically test the backup battery every 24 hours or
every 7 days.
-After every test, the system shows the battery status on the control console.
-The system automatically stops the battery test upon an AC power failure or when the system is in alarm mode.

l. Setting "HOME" mode (location HOME)
1. Enter the location: 'HOME'.
2. Enter the zones to be isolated: 1-8 (default: none)
-Several zones can be set to 'isolation' at once: continuous entry is possible.
-Setting a 24h zone to isolation is not recommended – an isolated zone is not protected.
-The 'HOME' mode is convenient to isolate several zones at once without having to isolate each zone separately.
The HOME mode can simply be activated by entering a user code, pressing 'HOME' and '#' to confirm..
3. Validate the entered selection with '#'.
m. Resetting the default values (location 02)
1. Enter location: '02': the default settings will be restored (see "7. Factory Presets") but NOT the master code.
2. Validate the reset command with '#'.
n. Exiting the programming mode
To exit the programming mode and return to the operational mode, press the '' key twice.
9. AC or Battery Power
a. AC Power Indication
The AC power LED is lit when the AC power supply is normal ; it flashes when there is an AC power failure. The
control console produces one beep every 30 seconds during a power failure.
b. Battery Testing
The system performs dynamic battery testing on the standby battery by interrupting AC power for 2 minutes and
monitoring the battery under loaded condition.
•Battery testing can be programmed (see "8.k. Setting the Periodic Battery Test").
•Battery testing can be performed manually at any time by entering a user code, followed by '', '4' and '#'.
•The battery status is always shown on the BATTERY LED indicator.
•The system produces a beep every 30 seconds when the battery is low, until a new test considers the battery to
be normal again.
•Battery testing is not possible during AC power failure or when the system is in alarm.
c. Battery Low Indications & Auto Reset
•The battery low indication begins at 11.0V in a loaded condition during battery testing.
•The battery low indication begins at 11.0V for more than 2 minutes during AC power failure.
•The system will be reset to stop working when the battery voltage drops to 10V during AC power failure.
d. Power-up Delay
The system can be programmed with or without power-up delay by entering the appropriate command code at
location 85.
The AC POWER and BATTERY lights flash alternately and the system does not function during power-up delay.
e. Back-up Battery
The battery should be of the 12V/1.2Ah sealed lead acid rechargeable type. It is protected by a 2.5A resettable fuse.
The maximum battery charge current in the system is 350mA. Standby time is approximately 16 hours at 250mA.
The back-up battery should be replaced every 3 to 5 years.

10. Opening the Housing for Maintenance
The metal housing of the HAM982K is protected by a built-in tamper switch that is factory wired to zone 8, which is a
24-hour protection zone on default settings. Opening the housing will cause the tamper switch to make alarm.
If the housing needs to be opened, the tamper switch needs to be isolated first. This can be done in two ways:
1. by isolating zone 8 only: enter a user code, press the 'ISOLATE' button, then '8' and close with '#'. The tamper
switch is now isolated – the zone 8 LED will flash slowly.
2. by going in programming mode: enter the master code and press '' twice. The system is now in programming
mode, the PROGRAM LED is on and all protection zones (including 8) are disabled.
The housing can now be opened without triggering an alarm. In order to leave the housing open while arming and
testing the system, put a jumper (metal) wire between the tamper switch terminals to disable its function. Do not
forget to remove the jumper wire afterwards – do not forget to isolate zone 8 before removing the jumper wire.
11. Arming the System
1. Make sure the alarm system is disarmed.
2. Enter your user code and press '#' to arm the system (with exit delay).
Enter your user code, press '', '2' and '#' to arm the system immediately.
Enter your user code, press 'HOME' and '#' to arm the system in home mode (with exit delay).
Enter your user code, press 'HOME', '2' and '#' to arm the system in home mode immediately.
Enter your user code, press 'ISOLATE' followed by the zone numbers to be isolated to isolate those zones and
arm the system for the remainder of the zones (with exit delay). It is not recommended to isolate 24h protection
zones. Manually isolated zones will be reset when the system is disarmed.
3. With exit delay: the system beeps twice and the EXIT/ARMED LED flashes to indicate the exit delay is running.
If the exit beep is enabled (see "8.e. Setting the Exit Delay Time / Beep"), the system will beep during exit delay.
Immediate: the system beeps twice and the EXIT/ARMED LED lights up to indicate the system is armed. To be
able to use immediate arming, the control panel must be outside the protected area.
In home mode or when zones have been isolated, the LEDs of those zones will flash to indicate they are isolated.
12. Disarming, Clearing, Rearming the System
1. Make sure you enter the premises through a time delayed door (see "8.f. Setting the Entry Delay Time / Beep") if
the control console is mounted in a protected area.
2. Enter your user code and press '#' to disarm the system, also after an alarm has occurred. 2 beeps will confirm a
correct code. A wrong code will be signalled by 5 beeps in stead of 2.
If there was an alarm, the affected zone LEDs will flash to help you remember where the alarm occurred.
3. To clear the alarm memory: enter your user code, followed by '', '3' and '#'. The zone LEDs will be off. The
system can now be rearmed.

13. Panic Alarm
The system is equipped with a panic alarm, which is activated by pressing any two buttons on the control panel for
three seconds. The console will beep twice to confirm the alarm. There will be no indication of an alarm condition on
the control console. Disarm the system as described in "12. Disarming, Clearing, Rearming the System".
14. Alarm Output Test
IMPORTANT: make sure the system is disarmed when performing the tests!

Sluit de 16.5Vac uitgangen aan op de ingangen van het toestel. Verzeker u ervan dat het verbruik van het toestel
niet hoger ligt dan de maximumcapaciteit van de adapter en dat de kabels stevig vast zitten aan de aansluitingen.
Sluit daarna de stekker van de adapter aan op een 230Vac stopcontact.
Deze adapter is enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis.

met een 24u normaal gesloten (NC) zone op het controlepaneel. Als
de behuizing wordt geopend, zal een tampersignaal afgaan.
12Vdc: Verbind (+) met een 8-16V voeding, doorgaans van het
controlepaneel. Verbind (-) met de gemeenschappelijke aarding.
Alarm: de alarmuitgangrelais van de detector. Verbind deze aansluitingen met een normaal gesloten (NC) zone
op het controlepaneel.
c. Installatie
•Installeer de detector binnenshuis, op een stabiel oppervlak met een ongehinderd zicht op
het detectiegebied.
•Plaats het toestel niet waar er warme of koude lucht op kan blazen en waar voorwerpen in
het detectiegebied snel van temperatuur kunnen veranderen (verwarming of airco bvb).
•Gezien de detectiehoek van het toestel (zie figuur rechts) is hoekmontage aanbevolen, op
een hoogte van 2 tot 3 meter.
Procedure:
1. Open de behuizing door een schroevendraaier in de rand van het toestel te steken en een kwartslag te draaien.
2. Verwijder de PCB door de twee bevestigingsschroeven los te draaien – LAAT DE PCB NIET VALLEN!
3. Op de bodemplaat zijn verschillende voorgeponste gaten voorzien. Maak het gat waar de kabel binnenkomt.
4. De twee gaten achteraan van de bodemplaat dienen voor montage tegen een muur. De twee gaten links en
rechts dienen voor montage in een hoek. Zet de bodemplaat stevig vast met de twee meegeleverde schroeven.
5. Plaats de PCB terug op de bodemplaat en zet deze stevig vast. Sluit de kabels aan op het connectorblok.
6. Clip het frontpaneel vast op de bodemplaat. Verifieer of de tamperschakelaar ingedrukt wordt wanneer het
frontpaneel wordt teruggeplaatst.

d. Test
a. Sluit een 12Vdc voeding aan en laat het toestel 3 à 5 minuten opwarmen en stabiliseren.
b. Stap het detectiegebied binnen aan een tempo van 1 stap per seconde en kijk naar de LED.
c. Het alarm zal afgaan wanneer beweging wordt waargenomen. Als de pulsteller via de jumper op "harsh" is
ingesteld, moeten 2 detecties gebeuren binnen de 12 seconden opdat het alarm zou afgaan.
d. Levert de looptest geen (bevredigend) resultaat op, dient de detector eventueel te worden verplaatst of bijgericht.

BATTERY: sluit de rode (+) kabel aan op de positieve en de zwarte (-) kabel op de negatieve pool van de batterij. De
batterij moet een oplaadbare 12V/1.2Ah gesloten loodzuurbatterij zijn. Deze wordt beschermd door een 2.5A
zelfherstellende zekering en wordt opgeladen door een spanningsbron met beperkte stroom in het systeem.
1, 2 het toestel werkt op een 16.5Vac voeding, min. 1.5A bij 50 of 60 Hz. De primaire zijde van de transformator
moet worden aangesloten op een niet-schakelende ontvanger.
3 Deze aansluiting stuurt een voeding uit van +12V ten opzichte van de gemeenschappelijke aarding. Deze
voeding wordt continu uitgestuurd, ook als het systeem niet op scherp staat, zodat ze geschikt is voor bvb.
rookmelders, controlepanelen etc. Op deze uitgang zit een 750mA zelfherstellende zekering.
4 Deze uitgang levert een +12V schakelende voeding ten opzichte van de gemeenschappelijke aarding wanneer
het systeem op scherp staat. Deze voeding is bedoeld voor toestellen die een schakelende voeding nodig
hebben om te resetten, zoals glasbreukdetectoren en rookmelders die moeten worden afgezet om te resetten.
Op deze uitgang zit een 750mA zelfherstellende zekering.
3+4 Deze aansluitingen zitten op dezelfde voedingsbus. Samen mogen deze uitgangen max. 750mA verbruiken.
5 Gemeenschappelijke aarding (-)
6 Deze aansluiting levert een continue +12V voeding in een normale toestand (geen alarm). De +12V-uitgang
wordt uitgeschakeld wanneer zich een alarm voordoet. Deze uitgang is bedoeld voor alarmtoestellen met een
ingebouwde batterij die stil blijven zolang er een voeding binnenkomt ('hold-off'-spanning) en die in werking
treden (op batterijkracht) wanneer deze spanning wegvalt.
7 Deze aansluiting levert een continue +12V voeding tijdens en na een alarm tot het systeem wordt gereset of
uitgeschakeld. Op deze uitgang zit een 2.5A zelfherstellende zekering. Deze voeding is bedoeld voor
alarmtoestellen die afgaan wanneer er een voeding aangelegd wordt (bvb: SV/PSL3x sirene + strobo).
8 Gemeenschappelijke aarding
9 Deze aansluiting levert een +12V voeding bij een alarm gedurende de tijd die is ingesteld in de alarmtimer.
Deze uitgang is ideaal voor een sirene of alarmbel. Op deze uitgang zit een 2.5A zelfherstellende zekering.
10-13 Deze aansluitingen dienen voor (optionele) extra schakelaars om het systeem van op afstand op scherp te
stellen. Deze schakelaars moeten van het 'kortstondig contact'-type zijn en uitgerust met 2 LEDs (home/away
LED en status LED). Tot 3 van deze schakelaars kunnen parallel aangesloten worden. Geschikte schakelaars
zijn HAA80 (sleutelcontact), HAA85 (toetsenbord) and HAA85WP (waterdicht toetsenbord).

functie van de zones en hun responstijden zijn programmeer-
baar via de programmeeropties van het systeem.

DAP jumper: DAP betekent Direct Access to Programming (directe toegang tot programmering): deze jumper is
voorzien om het systeem in programmeermode te schakelen wanneer de mastercode verloren is gegaan.
7. Standaardinstellingen
Dit zijn de standaardinstellingen– deze kunnen worden aangepast naargelang de situatie. Het volgende hoofdstuk
("8. Het controlepaneel programmeren ") is gewijd aan deze aanpassingen. Met de standaardinstellingen kan het
systeem worden gebruikt als lokaal alarmsysteem zonder programmering, behalve de master en gebruikercodes.

8. Het controlepaneel programmeren
LET OP: zorg ervoor dat de behuizing stevig dicht is voor u het systeem aanzet om te vermijden dat de tamper-
schakelaar ongewild contact zou geven. Plaats ook geen batterij als het systeem aan staat maar er nog geen
gebruikercode geprogrammeerd is: door de tamperschakelaar zou het alarm afgaan, maar aangezien er nog geen
gebruikercode is, kan dit alarm niet worden afgezet en de mastercode kan hiervoor niet worden gebruikt.
Het paneel kan worden geprogrammeerd via het toetsenbord. Open de programmeermode, geef daarna de
programmalocatie in (2 karakters), onmiddellijk gevolgd door de gewenste programmeerwaarden en '#' om de
gegevens op te slaan. Het systeem zal de input bevestigen met 2 pieptonen, of melden dat de gegevens niet zijn
opgeslagen met 5 pieptonen. Bent u niet zeker dat u de juiste gegevens hebt ingegeven, programmeer die locatie
dan nog eens. Druk daarna twee keer op '' om de programmeermode te verlaten.
a. De programmeermode openen
Om de programmeermode te openen, geeft u de mastercode in (standaard '1234' of uw zelf ingegeven code),
gevolgd door twee keer '' om de input te bevestigen. Het systeem zal twee pieptonen produceren om aan te geven
dat het is programmeermode is en de PROGRAM LED zal oplichten.
Is de standaardcode vervangen en is de nieuwe code verloren gegaan, gebruik dan de DAP jumper om de
ingangscode te omzeilen en direct in programmeermode te gaan. Deze DAP jumper zit op de hoofd-PCB. . Volg
deze procedure nauwgezet om de DAP jumper te gebruiken:
1) Koppel de voeding los: zowel de AC voeding als de noodbatterij.
2) Zet de jumper van de OFF naar de ON positie.
3) Sluit de voeding weer aan, de console zal doorlopend piepen.
4) Zet de DAP jumper terug op OFF ; het piepen stopt en de PROGRAM LED licht op.
5) Het systeem is nu in programmeermode en klaar om nieuwe data te ontvangen.
6) De DAP jumper dient na het programmeren in de OFF positie te blijven.
b. De Mastercode wijzigen (locatie 01)
1. Geef '01' in (de locatie van de mastercode)
2. Geef de nieuwe mastercode in (minimum 2 en maximum 5 karakters)
3. Valideer de nieuwe mastercode met '#' – de vorige code zal worden gewist.
c. Gebruikercodes instellen (locatie 11-18)
1. Geef the locatie van de gebruikercode: 11 (gebruiker 1), 12 (geb. 2), 13 (3), 14 (4), 15 (5), 16 (6), 17 (7), 18
(gebruiker 8).
2. Geef de nieuwe gebruikercode in (minimum 2 en maximum 5 karakters). Doorgaans is er maar 1 gebruikercode
nodig om het systeem in en uit te schakelen. Gebruikercodes 2 tot 8 zijn optioneel.
3. Valideer de nieuwe gebruikercode met '#' – de vorige code op die locatie wordt gewist.
4. Geef het locatienummer in en druk onmiddellijk '#' in om de bestaande code te vervangen of ongeldig te maken

d. De detectiezones instellen (locatie 21-28)
1. Geef de locatie in van de zone: 21 (zone 1), 22 (zone 2), 23 (3), 24 (4), 25 (5), 26 (6), 27 (7), 28 (zone 8).
2. Geef code 1 in: 'alarmmode':
0= enkel alarm: de zone kan slechts één keer alarm geven tot het systeem en dus de zone wordt gereset.
1= meerdere alarmen (standaard voor alle zones): de zone kan opnieuw alarm geven zolang ze op scherp staat.
3. Geef code 2 in: reactievertraging-mode:
0= onmiddellijk : er is geen vertraging, het alarm gaat onmiddellijk af (standaard zones 3, 4, 5, 6).
1= vertraging 1: er is een vertraging volgens de instelling van "entry delay timer 1" (standaard zones 1, 2).
2= vertraging 2: er is een vertraging volgens de instelling van "entry delay timer 2".
3= 24u direct: de zone zal ALTIJD alarm geven, of het systeem op scherp staat of niet (standaard zones 7, 8).
4. Geef code 3 in: responstijd: 0=25ms, 1=250ms, 3=500ms (standaard voor alle kanalen), 4=750ms.
5. Valideer de nieuwe configuratie met '#' – de vorige configuratie wordt gewist.
e. Instelling van de 'Exit Delay' (vertraging bij inschakelen) tijd/pieptoon (locatie 30)
1. Geef de locatie in: '30'.
2. Geef code 1 in: 'exit beep': het systeem piept gedurende de 'exit delay':
'0'= uitgeschakeld / '1'= ingeschakeld (standaard).
3. Geef de 'exit delay' in: 2-999 seconden (standaard= 60s)
4. Valideer de nieuwe instelling met '#'.
f. Instelling van de 'Entry Delay' (vertraging bij detectie) tijd/pieptoon (locatie 31-32)
1. Geef de locatie in: '31' (entry delay 1) of '32' (entry delay 2).
2. Geef code 1 in: 'entry beep': het systeem piept gedurende de 'entry delay':
'0'= uitgeschakeld / '1'= ingeschakeld (standaard).
3. Geef de 'entry delay' in: 2-999 seconden (standaard: entry delay 1 = 30s ; entry delay 2 = 60s)
4. Valideer de nieuwe instelling met '#'.
g. Instelling van de duur van de sirene (locatie 33)
1. Geef de locatie in: '33'.
2. Geef code 1 in: in- en uitschakelsignaal: het systeem zal de alarmuitgang (aansluiting 9) gebruiken om korte
signalen te geven wanneer het systeem wordt ingeschakeld (2 signalen) of uitgeschakeld (1 signaal): '0'=
uitgeschakeld (standaard) / '1'= ingeschakeld.
3. Geef the duur van de sirene in: 2-999 seconden (standaard: 300s)
4. Valideer de nieuwe instelling met '#'.
h. Instelling van 'Forced to Arm' of 'Arm Prohibited' (locatie 40)
1. Geef de locatie in: '40'.
2. Geef de code in:
0= FORCED TO ARM (standaard): een getriggerde zone zal geïsoleerd zijn na de 'exit delay', maar het systeem
zal op scherp staan. De geïsoleerde zones worden aangegeven door de zone LEDs.
LET OP: een geïsoleerde zone wordt niet beschermd!
1= ARM PROHIBITED: door een getriggerde zone wordt het systeem niet op scherp gesteld tot die zone gereset
of manueel geïsoleerd wordt. Na de 'exit delay' produceert het systeem 5 pieptonen om aan te geven dat het niet

i. De 'handover' functie instellen (locatie 41)
1. Geef de locatie in: '41'.
2. Geef de code in:
0= uitgeschakeld: (standaard) het systeem werkt normaal. Alle zones werken volgens hun instellingen.
1= ingeschakeld: bij 'handover' worden, als er een zone met 'entry delay' wordt getriggerd, alle ' onmiddellijke' zones
(behalve 24u zones) uitgeschakeld gedurende de 'entry delay'. Met deze functie bevelen wij aan alle zones op
' onmiddellijk' in te stellen, behalve de zone met de hoofddeur, die met een 'entry delay' wordt ingesteld. Op deze
manier zal het systeem altijd onmiddellijk alarm geven, behalve wanneer men binnenkomt langs de hoofddeur.
3. Valideer de nieuwe instelling met '#'.
j. De opstartvertraging instellen (locatie 85)
1. Geef de locatie in: '85'.
2. Geef de code in:
0= uitgeschakeld (standaard)
1= ingeschakeld
-Het doel van deze vertraging is om het systeem toe te laten zich te stabiliseren en de noodbatterij onmiddellijk
op te laden (wanneer deze uitgeput zou zijn).
-De opstartvertraging bedraagt 5 minuten. Het systeem onderdrukt alle alarmuitgangen.
-Gedurende de opstartvertraging knipperen de AC POWER en BATTERY LEDs afwisselend.
3. Valideer de nieuwe instelling met '#'.
k. De periodieke batterijtest instellen (locatie 86)
1. Geef de locatie in: '86'.
2. Geef de code in:
0= uitgeschakeld (standaard)
1= dagelijks – 24 uren
2= wekelijks – 7 dagen
-Wanneer deze functie geselecteerd is, zal het systeem automatisch iedere 24 uur of 7 dagen de batterij testen.
-Na iedere test toont het systeem de batterijstatus op het controlepaneel.
-De batterijtest wordt automatisch onderbroken bij een AC stroomstoring of wanneer er een alarm afgaat.
3. Valideer de nieuwe instelling met '#'.
l. De Zones voor "HOME" mode instellen (locatie HOME)
1. Geef de locatie in: 'HOME'.
2. Geef de te isoleren zones in: 1-8 (standaard: geen)
-Meerdere zones kunnen tegelijk geïsoleerd worden: de zonenummers worden gewoon na elkaar ingegeven.
-Een zone met 24u bewaking isoleren is niet aanbevolen – een geïsoleerde zone is immers niet beveiligd.
-De 'HOME' mode is handig om verschillende zones tegelijk te isoleren, en niet iedere zone apart. De HOME
mode wordt geactiveerd door een gebruikercode en 'HOME' in te geven, gevolgd door '#' ter bevestiging.
3. Valideer de nieuwe instelling met '#'.
m. De standaardwaarden terug instellen (locatie 02)
1. Geef als locatie '02' in: de standaardinstellingen worden terug van kracht (zie "7. Standaardinstellingen"), met
UITZONDERING van de 'master' code.
2. Valideer de reset-opdracht met '#'.
