Manual Roller blinds
Motorised Roller blinds including Worldscreens
WARRANTY
This warranty covers any defects in manufacture for the warranty period deemed by the manufacturer from the
date of Practical Completion, but does not include abuse by client or others, water damage, incorrect installation
(when not installed by Ecliptic Installations) or normal wear and tear.
Warranty is on product only. Products must be returned to Ecliptic Installations for warranty claims. The blinds
will need to be packed suitably so as not to be damaged in transit on return to us. Any damage in freight will
be the responsibility of the customer. This warranty specifically covers blinds supplied by Ecliptic Installations.
Approved child safety devices are supplied with our interior products and must be fitted to claim warranty.
Ecliptic Installations provides a 12months installation warranty. Ecliptic will warrant that the installation is
carried out in a workmanlike manner not withstanding that the medium we are installing into may be beyond
our control and we cannot warrant that the timber, concrete, brick, gyprock or other medium is sound. Our
expectation is that the installation medium is sound but we can only inspect this visually.
Your properties condition is your responsibility.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To operate the manual blinds:
1. Pull downwards on the REAR chain to lower the blind (front Chain if blind is overroll).
2. Pull downwards on the FRONT chain to raise the blind (Rear Chain if blind is overroll).
Blinds are not to be left in the downwards position when doors or windows are open as they will get sucked out
by the wind, causing damage to the fabric and mechanism, this is classed as mishandling of the blinds and not
covered under warranty.

To operate the Motorised Roller Blinds, select the channel required relating to the blinds required to be
operated, then simply press on the switch control in the direction of the arrow, to either raise or lower the
blinds. The one switch / control unit in each area, will operate all blinds in the room. There should be no necessity
to tamper with the blinds themselves, and this may void the warranty offered, should any unauthorised works
be attempted.
When operating the Motorised Roller blinds, check for obstructions on sills or floor, before raising or lowering
blinds. Avoid lowering blinds at open windows or doors to reduce the risk of damage.
All curtains are operated by grabbing the edge of the curtain and pulling gently to both open and close. Do not
yank on the curtain, or pull hard at the tracks as this may cause damage to the system.
MAINTENANCE
General maintenance or cleaning of Motorised Roller Blinds with a feather duster, or soft bristle brush
attachment on a vacuum cleaner, to remove any dust collection, should be carried out a minimum of
every 3 months.
Do not crush the fabric, as this will leave permanent marks in the fabric which cannot be removed. When
windows are being cleaned, ensure that the blinds are raised, and avoid any overspray of cleaners solutions
coming in contact with the blinds as cleaners solutions often have harsh chemicals which can permanently
damage the fabric on these blinds.
Fabric marks caused by clients are not covered under warranty.
In addition to the above maintenance, the battery in the remote control should be changed periodically.
Batteries are not covered by this warranty.
Repairs or service to your product, should only be undertaken by experienced technicians.
Repairs done by a party other than Ecliptic Installations or a technician approved by Ecliptic Installations may
void the product warranty. For after sales service, the consumer should contact Ecliptic Installations who
supplied and installed the product.
Tracks are generally maintenance free. Should the curtain not travel smoothly along the track, firstly check for
any obstructions or damage to the track. Check also that the curtain itself is not fouling on some obstruction.
If the track appears to be clear, undamaged and the curtain is clear also, we would suggest a light spray of
silicone lubricant may rectify the problem. If the problem still remains, contact our Office on (07) 5456 2334
during business hours.
Curtains - General cleaning of curtains with a soft bristle brush attachment to a vacuum cleaner, will remove
any excessive dust build up. Attached to the back of the curtain at the heading, there is a label attached, which
tells the fabric content of the curtain (eg. polyester/cotton), whilst the other label tells the care and washing
instructions.
GENERAL PROCEDURES
Should any of the blinds cease to operate, firstly check for obstructions fouling on the blinds. If everything
appears to be in order, and the blinds are still inoperative, please contact our Office on (07) 5456 2334 or send
us an email to [email protected].

by Vertilux
It might look like magic, but it's actually just brilliant
design.
Worldscreen by Vertilux is a motorised blind with great
control of light and temperature while blending into
exterior architecture or interior design like the rest of
the Vertilux roller blind systems but for one very big
difference.
Worldscreen by Vertilux is for sites requiring wide
blinds with no fabric splits!
Worldscreen has four patents, and one patent pending,
for two sizes of MicroCassettes that allow us to
condense the blind into a discreet headbox that
occupies minimal space.
MicroCassette 40:16 is our more compact
design, with a headbox that is only 80 mm
(3 1/8") square but contains a blind of up to
12 mt (40 feet) wide and 5 mt (16 feet) drop.
MicroCassette 40:30 is only incrementally
larger, at 115 mm (4 1/2") square, and it
contains a blind of up to 12 mt (40 feet)
wide and 9 mt (30 feet) drop.
Worldscreen by Vertilux offers a clear alternative to the
standard option of multiple blinds over a wide width.
As few as three people can install the MicroCassette
40:16 or the MicroCassette 40:30 without special
equipment. One motor controls a width of up to 12 mt
(40 feet), saving the cost of additional motors and
wiring and without a split in the fabric.
Worldscreen Design Options:
Blind with no Guide Wires or Guide Rails
Blind with Guide Wire
Blind with 35 mm Guide Rail (Note: Guide Rail will
not block out light)

Vertilux Blind Systems
Fabric Warranty & General Information
Blind Fabric Warranty
Vertilux exclusive Greenvision®Trevira CS fabric ranges
come with a 7 year warranty, and 5 years on the
Greenvision®and Options Polyester ranges. All other
Vertilux fabric ranges come with a 2 year warranty or as
per the specic fabric manufacturer’s warranty advice.
The warranty does not cover the following:
1. Any condition or damage relating to, or resulting from,
misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations or other damage
(such as marks made by insects).
2. Normal fair wear and tear including discoloration or
fading over time.
3. Maintenance and care not in accordance with
recommended instructions.
4. Blind sizes outside of recommended dimensions.
5. Blinds not tted according to installation instructions.
Nothing herein before mentioned shall deem the company
responsible of consequential damage or for any other direct
or indirect damages, loss, cost expense of fees. The benets
conferred by this warranty are in addition to other rights and
remedies in respect of the product that the purchaser has
(if any) including relevant provisions of the Trade Practices
Amendment (Australian Consumer Law) Act (No.1) 2010 and
similiar State legislations.
Fabric Cleaning
Do not allow dust to accumulate. Gently vacuum with
appropriate attachment. Remove surface dust with a
feather duster or gentle brush.
The use of cleaning chemicals can void the warranty.
However, it is recommended that where possible,
cleaning is done by a specialised professional cleaner.
Custom Blinds
Vertilux cannot provide a warranty or guarantee the
performance of a fabric when a product is requested
to be manufactured outside of its engineered
tolerances, those include but are not limited to:
1. Roller Blinds ordered outside the dimensions
outlined in our pricelist (with the exception of
blinds under 1000d) eg, 600w x 1500d (width is under
650mm) or 2000w x 4000d (drop is over 3600mm)
2. Railroaded Fabric - when the fabric is turned to
provide extra width. This often causes curling
or cupping on the sides of the blind and is not
covered by warranty. eg, Yang Fabric is 2800w,
however blind requested is 2850w x 2000d.
3. When the fabric drop required is more than 3
times the width of the blind. eg, 800w x 3000d.
Early component failure, tracking issues and general
fabric distortions occur due to the excess load of
oversized blinds.
Fabric Bagging or ‘V’ing. Larger blinds will show
signs of fabric bagging or wavering. The width of the
blind as well as the weight of screen fabric contribute
to this effect.
The warranty does cover pin holes, fabric defects and
other specic faults of the fabric not related to the
sizing of the blind.
Warranty Claims
Warranty claims must be made as possible after
discovery of the defect and, in any event, within
the warranty period.
NO EXTENSION TO WARRANTY PERIOD
Repairs carried out, or replacement provided,
under this warranty do not extend the relevant
warranty period, and do not initiate a new warranty
period. The Warranty period for any replacement
parts or new Goods installed will end together
with the initial Warranty.
