DEMONTAGE
KOALA-R: Lösen Sie die Klettbänder vorsichtig und nehmen Sie
den KOALA-R Prallschutz vom Gabelrücken ab.
KOALA-S: Nehmen Sie den KOALA-S Prallschutz vorsichtig vom
Gabelrücken ab.
LAGERUNG UND ENTSORGUNG
Bei Nichtverwendung wird der KOALA Prallschutz am Stapler be-
festigt und ist somit stets griffbereit.
Im Falle eines Austausches muss der KOALA Prallschutz der
gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Entsorgung zugeführt werden.

MONTAGEHINWEISE
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Gabelrücken sauber, trocken und
frei von Gegenständen ist.
2. Wählen Sie den für Ihren Einsatz passenden KOALA Prall-
schutz.
3. Ausschließlich KOALA-R: Wählen Sie nun die passende Länge
der Klettbänder. Im Lieferumfang sind 2 Paar Klettbänder ent-
halten. Ziehen Sie die für Ihren Gabelzinken-Querschnitt
passenden Klettbänder durch die vorgesehenen Laschen.
4. Platzieren Sie das untere Ende des KOALA-R oder KOALA-S im
Bereich des Gabelinnenknicks, mittig im Gabelrücken platziert.
5. KOALA-R: Befestigen Sie den Prallschutz mittels des bereits
montierten Klettbandes und justieren Sie die gewünschte
Befestigungshöhe.
ACHTUNG: Vermeiden Sie scharfe Kanten im Bereich der
Klettband-Befestigung, da diese die Lebensdauer des Klett-
bandes verkürzen können.
6. KOALA-S: Befestigen Sie den Prallschutz mittels der
angebrachten Magneten.
7. Prüfen Sie die korrekte Positionierung und Haftkraft des
KOALA-R bzw. KOALA-S.
Der Betreiber hat sicherzustellen, dass ein Verlieren oder unbeab-
sichtigtes Abrutschen des KOALA Prallschutz ausgeschlossen ist.
1. Make sure the fork back is clean, dry and free of objects.
2. Select the KOALA ImpactProtector suitable for your applications.
3. Exclusively KOALA-R: Select correct length of adhesive straps.
The scope of supply contains 2 pairs of adhesive straps. Pull
the adhesive straps suitable for your fork cross section through
the xing loops.
4. Place the lower end of KOALA-R or KOALA-S in the inner heel
section centrally in the fork shank.
5. KOALA-R: Fasten the impact protector using the already
mounted adhesive strap and adjust to the required xing
height.
NOTE: Avoid sharp edges around the adhesive strap xing,
as these might impair the service life of the strap.
6. KOALA-S: Fasten the impact protector with the magnets
attached.
7. Check the correct positioning and adhesive force of KOALA-R
or KOALA-S.
The operator must ensure to exclude loss or unintentional sliding
of the KOALA ImpactProtector.
KOALA-R: Carefully unfasten the adhesive straps and remove the
KOALA-R from the fork back.
KOALA-S: Carefully remove the KOALA-S from the fork back.
During non-use the KOALA ImpactProtector is attached to the
forklift truck, thus always close at hand.
In case of exchange, the KOALA ImpactProtector must be
disposed of acc. to the statutory regulation.
