Update manual for Vitocom 100 LAN1 / Vitocom 200 LAN2 with USB stick
Important hints:
The update file is located at www.vitocom.info „Software updates for Vitocom LAN devices”
This must be copied on a USB stick. It’s important, that this is the only file on the USB stick !
During the update the Vitocom must be connect to supply voltage.
During the update the USB stick must not be withdrawn !
1. To start the update, insert the USB stick into the USB inlet of the
Vitocom , see also
To check the LED display, please remove the cover by shifting it to the right and then lifting it (See also the manual of the
Vitocom)
2. After inserting the USB stick, the update starts automatically.

As soon as the update is done (after approx. 5 min), the USB stick can be removed again and may be reused for updates for
further Vitocoms . The success of the update can be checked with Vitodata100 or Vitodata 300. Therefore Vitotrol app users
just follow the menues “Settings info Vitodata/Vitocom”.
If the manual update cannot be performed successfully, please contact your Viessmann service partner.

Checking the new sotware version on the display:

In case of connected extension modules of type EM301, the whole update process can be up to 15 minutes long.
If the manual update cannot be performed successfully, please contact your Viessmann service partner.
