Safety Precautions
•Please read this entire manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
•Adhere to the manufacturer's instructions and the relevant safety
instructions.
•Do not disconnect the grounding of this unit, as it is dangerous and illegal.
Class 1 equipment.
•This sign alerts the user to the presence of dangerous voltage without
insulation. To reduce the risks of electric shock do not remove the cover.
•Only use accessories specified by Vieta or sold with the speaker.
•Only qualified personnel are certified to suspend/mount/rig this equipment,
using accessories specified by the manufacturer. Do not hang the speaker
box by the handles.
•Never remain close to loudspeakers emitting a high volume. Professional
loudspeaker systems are capable of generating very high sound pressure
levels harmful to human health.
•When transporting and installing speakers, ensure that they are not near
objects and equipment sensitive to magnetic fields.
•Do not install the system near any heat source such as radiators, stoves or
other heating appliances.
•Disconnect the speakers during lightning storms or when unused for long
periods of time.
•Do not expose the speaker to rain nor install it in damp or wet areas.
•Do not allow liquids or foreign objects to enter into the speaker. Do not
place liquid-filled objects near or upon the unit.
•Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents for cleaning purposes.
•The interior of this equipment contains no user serviceable parts.
•Regularly check the speaker boxes and accessories for visible signs of wear
or damage, and replace as necessary.
•The external wiring connected to the equipment should be installed by
qualified personnel. The pre-made flexible wiring should be used.
•The maintenance and repair service must only be performed by qualified and
authorised personnel.
•This symbol indicates that this product shall not be treated as household
waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
•Vieta accepts no responsibility for accidents arising from any use of the
appliance not in accordance with these instructions.

WARRANTY
VIETA Warranty covers a period of one year from the date of receipt of this
equipment, to cover all repairs made by the Technical Service.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:
The following are not covered by warranty, and therefore the total repair cost will
be the responsibility of the user:
a) Any damage due to negligence and/or misuse of the equipment caused
by the customer.
b) Any damage originating from acts of God, force majeure (atmospheric or
geological phenomena) and accidents.
c) Any faults or damage due to improper installation.
d) The regular maintenance of the product.
e) Other charges such as freight and insurance are at the cost of the purchaser in
all cases.
VOID WARRANTY:
This warranty becomes null and void if the device has been tampered with,
modified or repaired by unauthorised personnel.
VERY IMPORTANT: FOR THIS WARRANTY TO BE CONSIDERED VALID, IT IS
ESSENTIAL THAT THE USER PRESENT PROOF OF THE DATE OF PURCHASE BY
SUPPLYING THE OFFICIAL RECEIPT FOR THE EQUIPMENT.

Description
La-plus series
This series consists of self-powered models: La-8 plus A, La-12 plus A and La-115S
plus A and the passive models: La-8 plus P, La-12 plus P and La-115S plus P. The
two versions share the same Dual-Driver technology for better phase coherence, as
well as Carbon-Fibre membrane speakers. These technologies are not incorporated
into the La-115S plus A and P subwoofers.
The self-powered version combines the benefits of internal amplification, digital
signal processing (DSP), Dual-Driver Technology and carbon-fibre membrane. The
entire system has been designed for maximum performance, with a frequency
response which is linear and constant, combined with a great capacity for power
and dynamic range.
A major concern while developing this series has been the use of reliable elements
throughout the system. Therefore, we have sought out the dependable components
of the highest quality, even though this requires a greater investment in
development and manufacture.
La-115S plus A
15” Pasive subwoofer 1500 W with power amplifier, 15” speaker in a front loaded
acoustic cabinet with bass reflex. Frecuency response ± 3 dB from 40 Hz to 120 Hz
and the operational range at -10 dB from 36 Hz to 135 Hz
The coil diameter is of 4” (100mm) and the lenght of the coil is 21 mm, this
properties allow a movement of the coil of 52 mm between peaks, capable of
handling high power, long excursión with low distorsion and a low compresion
factor due to heat disipation. This hi-tech component together with the power
amplifier and the included DSP allows the system to achieve high SPL keeping the
system controlled and save.
La-115S plus A.- The amplifier is used in mono-bridge delivering 1500W
continuous (1Khz 0,4% THD) at 8 ohms, with termal, shortcircuit and system
overload protection. RMS-Peak Limiters and system EQ to be used together with
the La-8 plus A and La-12 plus A, The filter is between 100 Hz and 120 Hz
depending on the system used.
The compact size of the La-115S, allows a lot of flexibility when installing the
system in places where size is to be taken into account. The typical applications for
the La-115S together with La-8 or La-12 go from main PA in small to mid-size
theaters, AV companies, congress halls, Clubs, etc.

La-115S plus P
Acoustic cabinet with the same format tan the self-powered version. It is very easy
to change from one model to the other one as the only part that changes is the
amplifier that has the same dimentions tan the passive filter.
The speaker cables are connected to +1 and -1 Speakon terminals.

will stop working until the temperature
decreases.

Green LED Indicates unit is on and working properly.
