LARN MOD
STEP 1: Press and hold (SET) for seconds until
the LED light on the original remote control stays
on, and then press (OK). The mount will beep
once, and the red LED light on the IR received
will stay on to indicate the mount has entered
LEARN MODE.
STEP 2: To learn the ( ) function, press the ( )
button on the original remote until the mount
beeps twice. The light on the IR received will
change from being constant to a slow flash.
STEP 3: Aim the TV remote at the IR receiver, and
press the button on the TV remote you would
like to set as the ( ) function until the mount
beeps three times. The light on the IR receiver
will change from a slow flash to a quick flash.
STEP 4: Press the (OK) button on the original
remote until the mount beeps four times. The
light on the IR receiver will turn off, and the ( )
function will be learned successfully. If the
mount only beeps once, then the learn function
has failed (indicating that the TV remote may not
be compatible with the TV ceiling mount).
(Please also follow steps 1 through 4 to program
other functions. All 3 functions must be
programmed before operating mount with
programmed TV remote.)
Learn "Power" button on the T remote
Press and hold the (SET) button for seconds until the
LED light on the original remote stays on, then press (OK).
The mount will beep once, and the red LED light on the
IR receiver will stay on. Press and hold the ( 1 ) button on
the original remote until the mount beeps twice, then
release the button. The light on the IR receiver will
change from being constant to a slow flash.
Aim the TV remote at the IR receiver and press the
"Power" button on the remote. The mount will beep
three times. The light on the IR receiver will change from
a slow flash to a quick flash. Press the (OK) button on the
original remote until the mount beeps four times. The
light on the IR receiver will turn off. The "Power" button
will be learned successfully. If the "Power" button is
pressed, the TV ceiling mount will automatically reset.
NOTE: When there is no activity for over 20 seconds in
any step, the TV ceiling mount will automatically exit from
LEARN MODE.
If the TV ceiling mount operates abnormally, it may
be necessary to perform a reset of the mount. To
reset the TV ceiling mount, press and hold the ( 1 )
button on the original remote for seconds (the
light on the remote will turn constant), and repeat
times. The TV ceiling mount will then cycle up
and down to determine correct positions. Once
the mount has stopped moving, press OK on the
remote to complete the reset process.
