Das Gerät wurde nach dem heutigen Stand der Technik gebaut wurde und
erfüllt die Anforderungen der geltenden europäischen und nationalen Richtli-
nien. Alle entsprechenden Unterlagen sind beim Hersteller hinterlegt.
Produktbeschreibung
Es lässt sich mit diesem Messgerät auf einfache Art und Weise feststellen wie
viel Sauerstoff in Flüssigkeiten gelöst ist. Der Sauerstoffgehalt wird in Milli-
gramm pro Liter (mg/l) angezeigt. Gleichzeitig wird im Multidisplay die Tem-
peratur der gemessenen Flüssigkeit angezeigt. Für Kalibrationszwecke kann
das DO-100 auch den Sauerstoffgehalt der Luft in " %/02 " anzeigen. Das
Gerät ist mit einer Hold-Funktion zum Einfrieren des aktuellen Messwertes
sowie einer Min-/ und Max-/Wert-Aufzeichnung ausgestattet. Neben der Dis-
play-Anzeige können die Messwerte auch über eine RS-232-Schnittstelle an
einem PC abgerufen und weiterverarbeitet werden. Zum Schutz der Batterie
verfügt das DO-100 über eine deaktivierbare automatische Abschaltung
(Auto-Power-Off) wenn 10 Minuten keine Taste gedrückt wird.
Der Einsatzbereich erstreckt sich sowohl auf den häuslichen Bereich, als auch
auf (Fisch-) Teiche, Schwimmbecken, Photolabore, Schulen, Gärtnereien,
usw.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Messung des Sauerstoffgehaltes von 0 - 20 mg/l von spannungslosen nicht
brennbaren bzw. nicht ätzenden Flüssigkeiten mit gleichzeitiger Anzeige der
Temperatur der Flüssigkeit.
Der Betrieb des Messgerätes ist nur in trockener Umgebung erlaubt, der Kon-
takt des Messgerätes mit Feuchtigkeit ist unbedingt zu vermeiden. Als Span-
nungsversorgung darf nur eine 9V-Blockbatterie verwendet werden.
Ein Betrieb unter widrigen Umgebungsbedingungen ist nicht zulässig. Widrige
Umgebungsbedingungen sind: Staub und brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder
Lösungsmittel, Gewitter bzw. Gewitterbedingungen wie starke elektrostati-
sche Felder usw.
Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben führt zur
Beschädigung dieses Produkts. Darüber hinaus ist dies mit
Gefahren, wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, etc. verbunden. Das
gesamte Produkt darf nicht geöffnet, geändert, bzw. umge-
baut werden!

Sicherheits- und Gefahrenhinweise
Dieses Gerät hat das Werk in sicherheitstechnisch einwandfreien Zustand
verlassen.
Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen,
muss der Anwender die Sicherheitshinweise und Warnvermerke beachten,
die in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung enthalten sind.
Messgeräte gehören nicht in Kinderhände !
In gewerblichen Einrichtungen sind die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften des Ver-
bandes der gewerblichen Berufsgenossenschaften für elektrische Anlagen
und Betriebsmittel zu beachten.

Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Messung die Messelektrode auf Beschädigung(en).
Unter ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen, z. B. bei Sonnenlicht, kann die Wahr-
nehmbarkeit der optischen Anzeige beeinträchtigt werden.
Bei einer mutwilligen mechanischen (Verformung) oder elektrischen Änderung
(Umbau) des Messgerätes erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
Seien Sie vorsichtig im Umgang mit brennbaren oder ätzenden Flüssigkeiten.
Achten Sie dabei auf das Tragen von Schutzhandschuhen, Schutzbrille und
Schürze. Messen Sie nur in gut belüfteter Umgebung.
Halten Sie nur den Sensorkopf in die spannungslose Flüssigkeit. Die Ein-
tauchtiefe darf 45 mm nicht überschreiten.
Einsetzen/Wechseln der Batterien
Das DO-100 benötigt zum Betrieb eine Batterie (Typ 9V-Block, nicht im Lie-
ferumfang enthalten).
Zum Einsetzen/Wechseln gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
- Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachschraube auf der unteren Rückseite des Gerä-
tes und nehmen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel ab.
- Setzen Sie eine neue 9V-Blockbatterie ein, bzw. ersetzen Sie die verbrauchte
Batterie gegen eine neue Batterie gleichen Typs. Verwenden Sie möglichst
Alkaline Batterien, da diese eine längere Betriebszeit garantieren.
- Schließen und verschrauben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder sorgfältig.
Ein Batteriewechsel ist dann nötig, wenn in der LCD Anzeige das Batterie-
symbol erscheint. Dieses Symbol signalisiert, dass die Batterie verbraucht ist.
Bei Erscheinen des Batteriesymbols in der LCD-Anzeige muss
die Batterie gewechselt werden, um eine ausreichende Genauig-
keit erreichen zu können.
Um eine Beschädigung des Gerätes durch auslaufende Batterien zu verhin-
dern, entfernen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät, wenn Sie es für längere Zeit
nicht benutzen. Aus dem gleichen Grund ist anzuraten, leere Batterien sofort
zu entfernen.

Inbetriebnahme, Kalibrierung, Messung
Kalibrierung
Vor der ersten Messung mit dem DO-100 muss Elektrolyt in die Elektrode
gefüllt und das Gerät kalibriert werden. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
- Füllen Sie Elektrolyt in die Elektrode (siehe Punkt „Wechsel von Elektrolyt
und Elektroden-Kopf.“
- Stecken Sie den Verbindungsstecker der Elektrode in die Öffnung „PROBE
INPUT“ an der Oberseite des Messgerätes und verriegeln Sie den Verbin-
dungsstecker mit dem „LOCK-ON“ Schiebeschalter am DO-100. Die Elek-
trode ist verriegelt, wenn sich der „LOCK-ON“ Schiebeschalter im Rechts-
anschlag (von vorne betrachtet) befindet.
- Schalten Sie das DO-100 durch Drücken der Taste „POWER“ ein.
- Drücken Sie nach der kurzen Initialisierungsphase des DO-100 die Taste
„mg/l/O2“ um in den Messbereich „%O2“ zu wechseln. Im Display erscheint
„%O2“.
- Drücken Sie nun die Taste „ZERO“ einmal. Im Display wird „0,0 %O2“
angezeigt. Nach kurzer Zeit wird ein Messwert (Sauerstoffgehalt der Luft)
angezeigt.
- Warten Sie ca. 5 Minuten bis sich der Messwert stabilisiert hat und sich
nicht mehr ändert
- Drücken Sie nun die Taste „CAL.“. Im Display wird nun der Messwert 20,8
oder 20,9 %O2angezeigt. Dies ist der typische Sauerstoffgehalt der Luft
und wird daher als Konstante zur Kalibrierung verwendet.
Hinweis!
Beachten Sie, dass die Messelektrode immer verriegelt ist. Die Kalibrierung
sollte immer in einem gut belüftetem Raum durchgeführt werden. Die Kalibrie-
rung muss nach jedem Wechsel des Diaphragmas sowie des Elektrolyts
durchgeführt werden.
Messung
Nach der Kalibrierung können mit dem DO-100 Messungen durchgeführt
werden.
- Verbinden Sie die Mess-Elektrode mit dem Messgerät wie im Punkt „Kali-
brierung“ beschreiben.
- Schalten Sie das DO-100 durch Drücken der Taste „POWER“ ein.
- Im Display wird der Messbereich „mg/l“ angezeigt. Sollte der Messbereich
„%O2“ angezeigt werden, drücken Sie die Taste „mg/l/O2“ einmal.

- Tauchen Sie die Mess-Elektrode bis zum konisch ansteigenden Handgriff (ca.
45mm) in die zu messende Flüssigkeit ein und rühren Sie damit sich die Luft-
blasen aus der Elektrode lösen. Nach der Stabilisierung der Anzeige kann der
Wert des gelösten Sauerstoffes in der Flüssigkeit direkt abgelesen werden.
- Ist der Wert des gelösten Sauerstoffes in der Flüssigkeit größer als 20 mg/l,
wird " - - - - " im LCD angezeigt .
- Gleichzeitig wird im unteren Bereich des Displays die Temperatur der
gemessenen Flüssigkeit angezeigt. Mit der Taste „°C/°F“ kann die Tempe-
raturanzeige umgeschalten werden.
- Schalten Sie das Gerät nach der Messung durch Drücken der Taste
„POWER“ aus.
- Um die Funktion des Gerätes über einen langen Zeitraum zu gewährleisten,
muss nach jeder Messung die Mess-Elektrode mit destilliertem Wasser
gereinigt werden.
Hold-Funktion
Mit der Hold-Funktion können Sie den aktuellen Messwert im Display „einfrie-
ren“. Drücken Sie zur Aktivierung der Hold-Funktion während der Messung
die „HOLD“ Taste. Der zum Zeitpunkt der Aktivierung aktuelle Messwert wird
nun solange im Display angezeigt bis die Taste „HOLD“ erneut gedrückt wird.
Die aktivierte Hold-Funktion wird im Display durch die Einblendung „HOLD“
angezeigt.
Min-/Max-Funktion
Das DO-100 ist mit einer Funktion zur Speicherung des jeweils kleinsten (Min)
oder des größten (Max) Messwertes ausgestattet.
- Zur Aktivierung drücken Sie die Taste „REC. MAX./MIN.“ einmal. Im Dis-
play wird „REC“ eingeblendet. Das Gerät speichert nun den größten und
den kleinsten Messwert.
- Zum Abrufen des größten Messwertes drücken Sie die Taste „REC.
MAX./MIN.“ bis „REC Max“ im Display angezeigt wird. Der jetzt angezeigte
Messwert ist der größte Messwert welcher während der Messung aufgetreten
ist.
- Zum Abrufen des kleinsten Messwertes drücken Sie die Taste „REC.
MAX./MIN.“ bis „REC Min“ im Display angezeigt wird. Der jetzt angezeigte
Messwert ist der kleinste Messwert welcher während der Messung aufge-
treten ist.
- Zum Verlassen der Min-/Max-Messung drücken Sie die Taste „REC.
MAX./MIN.“ für 2 Sekunden. Im Display wird nun wieder der aktuelle Mess-
wert angezeigt.

Auto-Power-Funktion
Zum Schutz der Batterie verfügt das DO-100 über eine deaktivierbare auto-
matische Abschaltung (Auto-Power-Off) wenn 10 Minuten keine Taste
gedrückt wird. Zur Deaktivierung drücken Sie die Taste „REC. MAX./MIN.“ bis
im Display „REC“ angeigt wird.
RS-232 Schnittstelle
Das DO-100 verfügt über eine RS-232 Schnittstelle. Der passende Schnitt-
stellenadapter ist optional erhältlich. Die RS-232 Schnittstelle befindet sich
auf der rechten Seite (von vorne betrachtet“ des Messgerätes unter einer
Klappe.
Das DO-100 gibt einen 16 stelligen Datenstrom aus, das Format beträgt 9600,
N, 8, 1.
Der 16 stellige Datenstrom wird im folgenden Format dargestellt.

Wechsel von Elektrolyt und
Elektroden-Kopf
In der Spitze der Messelektrode befindet sich der
Elektroden-Kopf (4) mit einer hauchdünne Membran,
auch Diaphragma genannt, welche für Sauerstoffmo-
leküle durchlässig ist, jedoch nicht für die etwas
größeren Moleküle des Elektrolyts (gelartige Flüssig-
keit). Bei der Messung durchdringen die Sauerstoff-
moleküle das Elektrolyt und gelangen über die Mem-
brane zur Messelektrode. Die Sauerstoffkonzentration
wird hier erfasst und an das Messgerät übertragen.
Das Diaphragma ist sehr dünn und dadurch sehr
empfindlich gegen andere Flüssigkeiten als das Elek-
trolyt und gegen direkte Luftströmungen („blasen“)
und kann dabei leicht zerstört werden. Auch selbst
leichte mechanische Beanspruchung kann das
hauchdünne Diaphragma zerstören.
Bei jeder Messung wird durch den Molekühlaustausch
Elektrolyt „verbraucht“. Sollte sich das Gerät nicht
mehr kalibrieren lassen, oder sich unstabile Messwer-
te ergeben, kann dies an einer defekten Diaphragma-
Membrane, an Schmutzpartikel an der Diaphragma-
Oberfläche oder an verbrauchtem Elektrolyt liegen.
Kontrollieren Sie in diesem Falle den Elektroden-Kopf
(4) und/oder Wechseln Sie das Elektrolyt. Bei der
ersten Inbetriebnahme des DO-100 muss Elektrolyt in
den Elektroden-Kopf (4) gefüllt werden, da sich werk-
seitig aus Gründen des Eigenverbrauchs kein Elektro-
lyt im Elektroden-Kopf (4) befindet.
Zum Wechseln des Elektroden-Kopf (4) und des Elektrolytes gehen Sie wie
folgt vor:
1. Schrauben Sie den Elektroden-Kopf (4) vom Elektroden-Halter (3).
2. Lassen Sie das verbrauchte Elektrolyt aus dem Elektroden-Kopf (4)
fließen.
3. Überprüfen Sie ob die Membrand im Elektroden-Kopf (4) schmutzig oder
gerissen ist. Ist dies der Fall, ersetzen Sie den Elektroden-Kopf (4).
4. Befüllen Sie den Elektroden-Kopf (4) zu etwa 1/3 mit neuem Elektrolyt.

5. Schrauben Sie nun den Elektroden-Kopf (4) vorsichtig auf den Elektro-
den-Halter (3). Das Diaphragma spannt sich nun. Klopfen Sie nun vor-
sichtig seitlich an den Elektroden-Kopf (4) um damit eventuelle Luftbla-
sen entweichen können. Luftblasen verfälschen das Messergebnis.
Der Wechsel des Elektroden-Kopfes (4) und des Elektrolyts ist nun abgeschlos-
sen. Möchten Sie nur das Elektrolyt wechseln, so müssen Sie nur die Schritte 1,
2, 4 und 5 durchführen. Der Handgriff wird in der o.g. Abbildung mit der Nummer
(1), der Temperatursensor mit der Nummer (2) dargestellt. Nach jedem Wechsel
des Elektroden-Kopf (4) oder des Elektrolytes müssen Sie das Messgerät neu
kalibrieren.
Wartung und Reinigung
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung (Spülung) der Elektrode nur destilliertes oder
entionisiertes Wasser und zum Abtupfen Papiertücher. Verwenden Sie zur
Reinigung keine carbonhaltigen Reinigungsmittel oder Benzine, Alkohole oder
ähnliches. Dadurch wird die Oberfläche des Messgerätes angegriffen. Außer-
dem sind die Dämpfe gesundheitsschädlich und explosiv. Scharfkantige
Werkzeuge, Schraubendreher oder Metallbürsten sind für die Reinigung tabu.
Entsorgung
Elektronische Altgeräte sind Wertstoffe und dürfen nicht über
den Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Entsorgen Sie das Gerät am
Ende seiner Lebensdauer nach den geltenden gesetzlichen Vor-
schriften bei den kommunalen Sammelstellen.

The device was manufactured according to the latest state of technology and
meets the demands of the valid European and national guidelines. The corre-
sponding declarations and documents have been deposited with the manu-
facturer.
Product description
With this measuring device, you can easily detect how much oxygen is con-
tained in a liquid. The oxygen content is indicated in milligrams per litre (mg/l).
At the same time the multi-display indicates the temperature of the measured
liquid. For calibration purposes, the DO-100 can also indicate the oxygen
content in the air in „%/02“. The device features a Hold function that freezes
the currently measured value as well min. and max. value indication. Along
with being indicated on the display, the measured values can also be sent to
a PC via an RS-232 interface and processed there. To save battery power, the
DO-100 shuts off automatically (Auto-Power Off) if none of the keys is
pressed for a period of 10 min.
This device can be used at home, as well as for (fish) ponds, swimming pools,
photo labs, schools, gardens/nurseries etc.

Intended use
To measure oxygen contents of 0 -20 mg/l in voltageless, non-combustible
and non-caustic liquids while at the same time indicating the liquid’s temper-
ature.
Operation is only permitted in a dry environment; contact with moisture must
be avoided at all times. Only a 9V block battery may be used as voltage
source.
Operation is not permitted under unfavourable ambient conditions.
Unfavourable ambient conditions include: Dust and inflammable gases,
vapours or solvents, storms or stormy conditions such as strong electrostatic
fields, etc.
Any use other than that described above will cause damage
to this product. In addition, this may lead to hazards such as
short circuits or fire. The product as a whole may not be
opened, modified or reconstructed.

operating manual.
Safety instructions and hazard warnings
This device left the factory in perfect condition in terms of safety engineering.
To maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, you, as the user, must
comply with the safety instructions and warnings contained in these instruc-
tions.
Measuring devices do not belong in the hands of children!
The accident prevention regulations of the relevant trade associations for
electrical systems and operating materials are to be observed in commercial
institutions.
Check the measuring electrode for damage before each measuring operation!

The optical display may be difficult to read under adverse light conditions,
e.g. in direct sunlight.
In case of arbitrary mechanical deformation or modifications of the measuring
device’s electronic components, the warranty will be void.
Be careful when handling flammable or caustic liquids. In that case, wear
safety gloves, goggles and an apron. Only measure in well-ventilated environ-
ments!
Only immerse the sensor head in the voltageless liquid! Do not immerse the
device more than 45 mm.
Inserting/changing the batteries
For operation the DO-100 requires a battery (type 9V block, not supplied with
the device).
Proceed as follows to insert or change the batteries:
- Unscrew the battery compartment screw on the back of the device and
take off the battery compartment cover.
- Insert a new 9V block battery or replace the flat battery with a new one of the
same type. If possible, use alkaline batteries. They ensure a longer service life.
- Then carefully close and screw down the battery compartment cover
again.
It is necessary to change the batteries when the battery symbol appears on
the LCD. This symbol indicates that the battery is flat.
Once this battery symbol appears on the LC display, the battery
must be changed to ensure sufficient measuring accuracy.
To prevent damage to the device from leaking batteries, remove the batteries
from the device if you will not be using it for a longer period. For the same rea-
son, we recommend that you remove flat batteries immediately.

Commissioning, calibration, measuring
Calibration
Before using the DO-100 for the first time, fill electrolyte into the electrode and
calibrate the device. Proceed as follows.
- Fill electrolyte in the electrode (see section “Replacement of electrolyte and
electrode head”)
- Insert the electrode connecting plug into the opening „PROBE INPUT“ on
the top of the gauge and lock the connecting plug to the DO-100 with the
„LOCK-ON“ slide switch. The electrode is locked if the „LOCK-ON“ slide
switch is pushed to the right side as far as it will go (viewed from the front).
- Press the „POWER“ key to switch the DO-100 on.
- After a brief DO-100 initialisation phase, press the „mg/I/O2“ key to switch
to the „%O2“ measuring range. The display indicates „%O2“.
- Now press „ZERO“ once. The display indicates „0.0 %O2“. The measured
value (oxygen content of the air) is indicated after a short while.
- Wait approx. 5 min. until the measured value has stabilised and no longer
changes.
- Now press the „CAL“ key. The display indicates 20.8 or 20.9 %O2. This is
the typical oxygen content of the air and is therefore used as the constant
for calibration.
Note
Check that the measuring electrode is always locked. Calibration should
always be performed in a well aired room. Calibration must be performed
each time the diaphragm or the electrolyte is changed.
Measuring
After calibration the DO-100 is ready to be used for measurements.
- Connect the measuring electrode with the gauge as described under „Cal-
ibration“.
- Press the „POWER“ key to switch the DO-100 on.
- The display indicates the measuring range „mg/l“. Should the display indi-
cate the measuring range „%O2“, press the „mg/l/O2“ once.
- Immerse the measuring electrode in the liquid to be measured up to the con-
ically expanding handle (approx. 45 mm) and stir so as to free the air bubbles
in the electrode. Once the display has stabilised, you can read off the value
for the dissolved oxygen in the liquid directly.

- If the value for dissolved oxygen in the liquid exceeds 20 mg/l, the LCD
indicates „- - - -“.
- At the same time the temperature of the measured liquid is shown in the
lower section of the display. You can switch the temperature display
between C° and F using the „°C/°F“ button.
- Turn the device off after measuring by pressing „POWER“.
- To ensure that the gauge will work over a long period of time, please clean
the electrode with distilled water after each measurement.
Hold function
With the hold function you can „freeze“ the currently measured value. To acti-
vate the hold function, press the „HOLD“ key during measurement. The value
measured at the time of activation is now shown on the display until you press
„HOLD“ again. If the hold function is active, the display reads „HOLD“.
Min/max function
The DO-100 can store the respective smallest (min) or greatest (max) mea-
sured value.
-
To activate it, press the button“REC. MAX./MIN.“ once. The display
reads „REC“. The gauge now stores the greatest and the smallest mea-
sured value.
- To call up the greatest measured value, press „REC. MAX./MIN.“ until „REC
Max“ appears on the display. The measured value shown now is the greatest
measured value that occurred during measurement.
- To call up the smallest measured value, press „REC. MAX./MIN.“ until
„REC Min“ appears on the display. The measured value shown now is the
smallest measured value that occurred during measurement.
- To quit min/max measurement, press „REC. MAX./MIN.“ for 2 seconds.
The display returns to the currently measuredvalue.

Auto-power feature
To save battery power, the DO-100 shuts off automatically (Auto-Power Off) if
none of the keys is pressed for a period of 10 min. To deactivate this function
press „REC. MAX./MIN.“ until „REC“ appears on the display.
RS-232 Interface
The DO-100 has an RS-232 interface. The interface adapter is available
optionally. The RS-232 interface is located under a flap on the right-hand side
(viewed from the front) of the device.
The DO-100 outputs a 16-digit data stream, the format is 9600, N, 8, 1.
The 16-digit data stream has the following format:

Each digit represents the following status:

Replacement of electrolyte and
electrode head
The electrode head (4) with a wafer- thin membrane,
also referred to as diaphragm, which is permeable for
oxygen molecules but not for the slightly bigger elec-
trolyte molecules (gel- similar liquid), lies in the apex
of the measuring electrode. In the course of the mea-
suring, the oxygen molecules permeate the electro-
lyte and arrive at the measuring electrode via the
membrane. Here the oxygen- concentration is being
measured and transferred to the measurement devi-
ce. The diaphragm is very thin and therefore very sen-
sitive towards other liquids than the electrolyte and
towards direct air flows (“blowing”) which may easily
destroy the diaphragm. Even light mechanical strain
may destroy the wafer- thin diaphragm. During each
measuring, the molecular interchange “consumes”
electrolyte. If the device allows no calibration anymo-
re or if the measured values are unstable, the reason
might be a defect diaphragm- membrane, particles of
dirt at the diaphragm- surface or exhausted electro-
lyte. In this case please check the electrode head (4)
and/ or replace the electrolyte. For the first starting of
the DO- 100, electrolyte has to be filled in the electro-
de head (4) because there is no electrolyte in the elec-
trode head (4) ex factory by reason of the own- con-
sumption.
For the replacement of the electrode head (4) and the electrolyte please pro-
ceed as follows:
1. Unscrew the electrode head (4) from the electrode holder (3).
2. Let the used electrolyte flow out of the electrode head (4).
3. Check if the membrane at the electrode head (4) is dirty or ripped. If so,
replace the electrode head (4).
4. Fill the electrode head (4) up to one third with new electrolyte.
5. Now screw the electrode head (4) carefully on the electrode holder.
(3). The diaphragm now tautens. Please knock carefully on the side of the
electrode head (4) in order to allow potential air bubbles to pass off. Air bub-
bles falsify the measurements results.

The replacement of the electrode head (4) and of the electrolyte is now com-
pleted. If you want to replace only the electrolyte, please proceed only the
steps 1, 2, 4 and 5. The handhold is illustrated as number (1) and the tempe-
rature sensor is illustrated as number (2) in the above mentioned description.
After any replacement of the electrode head (4) or of the electrolyte you
have to re- calibrate the measurement device.
Maintenance and cleaning
To clean (rinse) the electrode, only use distilled or de-ionised water and dab
dry with paper cloths. Do not use detergents that contain carbon, petrol,
alcohol or similar substances for cleaning purposes. This would corrode the
surface of the measuring instrument. Also, the vapours are detrimental to
health and are explosive. Never use sharp-edged tools, screwdrivers or met-
al brushes for cleaning.
Disposal
Old electronic devices are special waste and may not be dispo-
sed of in the household waste. When the device has become
unusable, dispose of it at the community collection point in
accordance with the statutory regulations in force.

Description du produit
Le présent appareil de mesure permet de constater facilement quelle quanti-
té d’oxygène est dissoute dans les liquides. La teneur en oxygène est affichée
en milligrammes par litre (mg/l). En même temps, l’écran multiple affiche la
température du liquide mesuré. A des fin d’étalonnage, le DO-100 peut égale-
ment afficher la teneur en oxygène de l’air en « %/02 ». L’appareil est équipé
d’une fonction Hold pour geler la valeur de mesure actuelle, et d’un enregis-
trement valeur min/max. En plus de l’affichage à l’écran sur l’appareil, les
valeurs de mesure peuvent également être appelées et traitées sur ordinateur
via une interface RS-232. Pour protéger la pile, le DO-100 dispose d’une cou-
pure automatique pouvant être désactivée (Auto-Power-Off) lorsque l’on
n’appuie sur aucune touche pendant 10 minutes.
