Ifyoublewincorrectly,theLCDwilldisplay
“BlowSofter”or“BlowLongerandHarder”.
Waitforthehandsettodisplay“Blowfor5
Seconds”beforetryingagain.
Observethetestresultindicatedonthe
handset.

andthestatusLEDissolidgreen,youpassed
thebreathtest.Themeasuredalcohollevelis
between0.00to0.10‰BrAC.
Youhave5minutestostartthevehicle.

IfthemotorwasturnedOFFforlessthan30
minutes,youcanrestartthemotorwithout
performinganotherbreathtest.Thisisa
safetyfeaturewhichallowsyoutoquickly
restartthemotorifitstallsontheroad.Itis
alsoconvenientformakingfrequentshort
stops.

Sharingavehicle
Driverswiththeirownpersonalhandset
canoperatethesamevehiclewithout
reprogrammingtheALCOLOCK.Allthe
customsettingsaredownloadedintothe
ALCOLOCKECUeverytimeanewhandset
ispluggedin.
Thehandsetcanbeexchangedwhilethe
ignitionisONorOFF.
Itisstronglyrecommendedyoudonot
exchangethehandsetwhilethevehicleis
ON.Y ouwillberequiredtoconductabreath
testwhichmaydistractyourattentionfrom
theroad.
Intheinterestofyourownsafety,youshould
onlyexchangehandsetswhenthevehicleis
parkedandtheignitionisOFF.Toreplace
thehandsetwhiletheignitionisOFF,simply
unplugtheoldhandsetandpluginthenew
one,asdescribedbelow.

fromthehandsetcable.

Allyourcustomsettingswillbedownloaded
intotheALCOLOCKECU.
TheALCOLOCKisnowreadyfornormal
operation.
