2. A plastic cover has been placed over the plug to protect it from damage
during transportation. Remove the plastic cover from the plug before use.
3. Ensure hair is clean and completely dry before using the appliance.
4. Comb through hair to prevent knots and tangles and then divide hair into
equal sections.
5. Plug the appliance into a 240v power outlet and select your required
temperature setting – please see ‘How to use the variable temperature

6. Place the appliance on a heat protective, flat level surface.
7. Press the ‘on/off’ button to switch the appliance on. The LCD display will
instantly illuminate with a blue background and will start flashing. At this
point the curling tong will instantly start heating up to the temperature
that has been selected. The curling tong will default at the lowest heat
setting - 150˚C when using the curling tong for the first time.
8. Press the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ button to adjust to the temperature you desire. The LCD
display light will start flashing (indicating it is heating up) as you move up
or down the variable temperature settings. For more information about
which heat setting is suitable for your hair type, please see ‘How to use the
variable temperature settings’. Once the selected temperature has been
reached, the LCD display on the curling tong will stop flashing and will stay
illuminated, this means that the curling tong is heated and you can begin
styling your hair.
9. Take a section of hair and place the curling tong midway up the hair section;
then spread hair evenly between the clamp and the barrel. To avoid crimped
ends, make sure they are securely wound underneath the clamp in the

10. Wind the hair up as far as you want it to be curled, being careful not to
let the appliance touch the scalp. Hold in place for 8-12 seconds. For looser,
free-flowing curls roll more hair. For tighter, bouncier curls, roll less hair. To
remove the curling tong, unwind the hair. To ‘set’ the curl, do not comb or
