Disinfection of the A/C systems with
EVAPO® clean
▸Position the EVAPO® MAT on the passenger side
on the oor.
▸Make sure the outlet nozzle [10] points in the
direction of the ventilation openings.
▸Start the vehicle.
▸Set the automatic climate control to “O”.
▸Set “Economy” mode to “On”.
▸Set the temperature selection to the lowest setting
“Low”.
▸Set “Recirculation” mode to “On”.
▸Set the fan to the lowest level.
▸Open the air openings.
▸Switch on the EVAPO® MAT using the On/O
switch [12], check that a spray mist comes out of
the outlet nozzle [10].
▸Exit the vehicle; close vehicle doors and win-
dows.
3When the status indicator [5] changes from
green to red, the process is complete.
3The EVAPO® MAT switches o automatically.
▸Then open all vehicle doors and ventilate for
about 10 - 20 minutes.
Disinfecting interior spaces with
EVAPO®fresh
▸Place the EVAPO® MAT in the middle of the
interior space and switch on via the On/O
switch [12].
▸Close doors and windows and leave the interior
space.
3When the status indicator [5] changes from
green to red, the process is complete.
3The EVAPO® MAT switches o automatically.
▸Then open all doors and windows and ventilate
the interior space for about 10 - 20 minutes.
Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING!
Danger of electric current.
¾Carry out maintenance and cleaning
work on the device only when the
mains plug has been removed.
CAUTION!
Risk of injuries or property damage due
to improper actions.
¾Do not open the device.
¾The device must only be opened by
Würth masterService.
¾Observe the relevant safety and
accident prevention regulations
during all maintenance and servicing
work.
▸Pull out the mains plug from the EVAPO® MAT.
▸Remove and dispose of empty can receptable.
▸Fill approx. 100 ml water into the can receptacle,
lightly shake the EVAPO® MAT, then drain out the
water.
▸Protect On/O switch [12] and connection
socket [1] against water splashes.
▸Clean the EVAPO® MAT, power cable, plug and
On/O switch with a dry, non-abrasive cloth.
▸Inspect the mains cable and plug for damage at
regular intervals.
Accessories and Spare Parts
If in spite of careful manufacturing and test proce-
dures, the EVAPO® MAT becomes faulty, a repair by
Würth masterService should be arranged.
