Safe operation of this tool is possi-
ble only when the operating in-
structions and the safety precau-
tions are read completely and the
instructions contained therein are
strictly observed.
Always inspect cable and plug be-
fore using tool. Only have damage
repaired by a qualified profession-
al. Make sure drill is switched off
before inserting plug in socket.
The tool must not be damp and must
not be operated in a wet environ-
ment.
❏Wear sturdy shoes.
❏For long hair, wear hair protection.
❏Always direct the cable to the rear away from
the machine.
❏Connect machines that are used in the open via
a residual current device (RCD) with an actuat-
ing current of 30 mA maximum. Use only ex-
tension cables that are approved for outdoor
use.
❏Hold the power tool firmly, even when using the
hand strap.
❏Only work with undamaged insert.
❏Beware of any concealed electric cables, gas or
water conduits; check the working area with a
metal detector, for example.
❏Set the machine against the nut/screw only
when switched off.
❏Always switch the machine off and wait until it
has come to a standstill before placing it down.
❏Only connect the power plug when the tool is
OFF. Disconnect the power plug after use.
❏Always disconnect the power plug before per-
forming any work on the tool. Do not carry the
tool by the power cord.
❏Always keep the extension cable well away
from the workplace.
❏The tool must not be used without supervision.
❏Keep the tool and accessories out of the reach
of children.
❏Do not drill into the housing or fasten rivets to it
for marking or identification of the machine.
The double insulation is then no longer ensured.
Use stickers.
❏Only use original WÜRTH accessories.

Intended Use
This machine is intended for driving screws in and
out, especially for self-drilling and self-cutting
screws.
Screwing should be carried out using the bit stop.
For damage caused by usage other then intended,
the user is responsible.
Mounting the clamp
– Insert the clamp

into the top of the handle,
pressing it in until it notches (see Fig.
B
).
– The clamp is not detachable.
Initial Operation
Always use the correct supply voltage:
The power
supply voltage must match the information quoted
on the tool identification plate. Tools with a rating of
230 V can also be connected to a 220 V supply.

Changing the Insert
– Pull off the depth stop

When using a screwdriver bit 8, the bit holder 9
and the fitting stop bushing 1 from the delivery
scope must be used.
Setting the Torque (see Fig. E)
The torque can be changed by readjusting the con-
tact depth on the clutch dog.
More claw contact results in a greater torque,
whereas less claw contact results in lower torque.
Adjustment is carried out by turning the torque ad-
justment screw:
– Screw out the bearing sleeve

and unscrew the
set screw

with the Allen key

– Turn the torque adjustment screw

in the de-
sired direction. Turning the screw rightward to the
next notch increases the contact by 0.16 mm. The
contact depth is factory-set to approx. 0.75 mm.
– Screw in the bearing sleeve (10 – 12 Nm).
The torque is dependent on the force, with which the
machine is pressed against the screw.
Setting the Bit Stop
The bit stop consists of a connecting collar and a
stop collar

. One full turn of the stop collar (four
notching intervals) changes the screwing depth by
1 mm (see Fig.
F
).
– Attach the depth stop

– As a preliminary setting, set the stop collar such
that it is flush with the surface of the screw (see
Fig.
F
).
– Screw in one sample screw as far as the stop.
Correct the screwing depth:
If the screw is to be screwed in deeper, screw in the
stop collar further (see Fig.
G
).
If the screw is screwed in too deeply, unscrew the
collar stop accordingly (see Fig.
H
).
Example: After being screwed in for the first time,
the screw is still projecting 1.5 mm from the material.
Turn in the stop collar 1.5 turns to reach the correct
screwing depth.
The screwing depth is dependant upon the force with
which the power tool is pressed onto the screw.

Maintenance and Cleaning
❏
Before any work on the tool itself, pull the mains
plug.
Carry out the following once a week, or more often
if the power tool is used more frequently:
– Clean the venting openings.
– Blow out the motor space from outside with dry
compressed air.
If the machine should happen to fail despite the care
taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be
carried out by an authorized customer service agent
for Würth power tools.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders,
always include the article number on the type plate
of the machine.
For the current spare parts list of this machine, log
into the Internet under “http://www.wuerth.com/
partsmanager” or ask for a copy at your nearest
Würth branch office.
Environmental Protection
Recycle raw materials instead of
disposing as waste
The machine, accessories and
packaging should be sorted for
environmental-friendly recycling.
The plastic components are labelled for categorized
recycling.
Guarantee
For this Würth tool, we provide a guarantee in ac-
cordance with statutory/country-specific regulations
from the date of purchase (proof of purchase by in-
voice or delivery note). Damage that has occurred
will be corrected by replacement or repair.
Damage caused by normal wear, overloading or
improper handling is excluded from the guarantee.
Claims can be recognised only when the tool is pre-
sented undisassembled to a Würth branch office or
a Würth field service employee.
Noise/Vibration Information
Typically the A-weighted sound pressure level of the
tool is 82 dB (A). The noise level when working can
exceed 85 dB (A).
Wear ear protection!
The typical hand-arm vibration is below 2.5 m/s
