INJURY HAZARD
Failure to observe these instructions could lead to severe injury or death.
Always use extreme caution when drilling on any vehicle. Make sure that all fuel lines, brake lines, electrical
wires, and other objects are not punctured or damaged when / if drilling on the vehicle. Thoroughly inspect
the area to be drilled (on both sides of material) prior to drilling, and relocate any objects that may be dam-
aged. Failure to inspect the area to be drilled may result in vehicle damage, electrical shock, re or personal
injury.
Always wear safety glasses when installing this kit. A drilling operation will cause ying metal chips. Flying
chips can cause eye injury.
 Always use extreme caution when cutting and trimming during tting.
 Always remove jewelry and wear eye protection.
 Never lean over battery while making connections.
 Never route electrical cables:
Across any sharp edges.
Through or near moving parts.
Near parts that become hot.
Always insulate and protect all exposed wiring and electrical terminals.
Always install terminal boots as directed in installation instructions.
Always use appropriate and adequate care in lifting components into place.
Always insure components will remain secure during installation and operation.
Always tighten all nuts and bolts securely, per the installation and operation.
Always perform regular inspections and maintenance on the winch, winch mount and related hardware.
Never operate this WARN product with damaged or missing parts.

WINCH MOUNTING KIT

Before you begin disconnect the positive battery lead from the battery.

Never operate this product if you are under 16 years of age.
Never operate this product when under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medications.
Read installation and operating instructions thoroughly.

INSTALLATION
1. Remove the plastic grill from the center of
the bumper using a torx bit driver. Remove
the bolts from the bottom of the bumper as
shown in gure 1.
2. On the back side of the bumper remove the
top two mounting bolts so the bumper can be
removed from the vehicle.
3. Install the winch mount bracket to the ve-
hicle using the M10 bolts, washers, and lock
nuts supplied in the hardware kit. Before
you tighten, slide the bracket upwards before
tightening the hardware.
Note: If you are installing a plow mount at
the same time as the winch mount, leave the
bottom to fasteners out at this time.

4. Before the winch is installed, install the
two longer bolts supplied in your kit though
the two front holes in your winch mount as
shown in gure 4.
5. Install the winch into the winch mount at this
time, notice the red handle should be on the
passenger side of the vehicle. Install the M8
bolts supplied in your winch kit and tighten.
Attach the yellow and blue cable also for ease
in installation.
6. Reinstall the bumper aligning the two long
bolts in the front of the winch mount, through
the two front holes in the bumper. Reinstall
all bumper mounting hardware at this time.
NOTE: If installing a front plow mount,
leave the bottom to bolts, and nuts out of
the bottom of the bumper until you have the
front plow mount in place.

INSTALLATION CONT.
THE WINCH MOUNTING PLATE INSTALLATION IS NOW COMPLETE.
• Wire winch according to instructions found in winch kit.
PROCEED TO SECTION TITLED “MAINTENANCE/CARE”.
READ THE VEHICLE’S OPERATOR MANUAL,
WINCH OPERATOR MANUAL, AND ALL WARN-
ING LABELS PRIOR TO OPERATION OF UTV
AND WINCH.
WARNING
7. Reattach the plastic grill you removed in
step 1 making sure you pull the fairlead bolts
through the holes.
8. Attach the fairlead making sure to pull the
winch cable or synthetic rope through the
bumper and the fairlead before tightening
your hardware.
9. Attach the winch hook and safety hook strap
supplied in your winch kit. The installation of
the winch mount is complete. Read all your
winching instructions and manuals before
operating your winch for the rst time.

MAINTENANCE/CARE
1. Inspect all parts on the winch, winch mount, and related hardware prior to each use. Replace all hardware
that appears rusted or deformed.
2. Inspect all nuts and bolts on the winch, winch mount, and related hardware prior to each use. Tighten all
nuts that appear to be loose. Stripped, fractured, or bent bolts or nuts need to be replaced.
3. Check all cables prior to use. Replace cables that look worn or frayed.
4. Check all moving or rotating parts. Remove debris that may inhibit the part from moving freely.
WARNING
PERFORM REGULAR INSPECTIONS ON THE WINCH, WINCH MOUNT, AND RELATED HARD-
WARE. NEVER OPERATE THE WINCH WITH DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS. FAILURE TO FOL-
LOW THIS WARNING MAY CAUSE VEHICLE DAMAGE AND OPERATOR INJURY OR DEATH.
FAILURE TO SECURELY TIGHTEN ALL BOLTS
ON THE WINCH PLATE, WINCH, AND FAIRLEAD
CAN RESULT IN PRODUCT FAILURE WHICH
MAY RESULT IN VEHICLE DAMAGE AND OP-
ERATOR INJURY OR DEATH. DOUBLE CHECK
THAT ALL BOLTS ARE SECURELY TIGHTENED
PRIOR TO USE.

MAINTENANCE/ENTRETIEN
1. Inspectez toutes les pièces du treuil, de la plaque de montage et le matériel de montage connexe
