ys drive slowly over bumpy and rough terrain. Driving at speeds that cause the plow to bounce while in the up position can
cause the winch to back-drive, causing the plow to work its way down. This may result in the plow impacting a stationary object
and cause damage to the vehicle and operator injury or death.

damage to the ATV if the plow is raised too high. The plow blade will drop suddenly if the j-bolt breaks, so always be sure there

Equipment Damage
Always refer to the Installation and Specification Guide, supplied in the winch kit, for all wiring schematics and specific
details on how to wire this WARN product to your vehicle.
Never overtighten the j-bolt to the bracket. Doing so will pinch the winch cable against the bracket, damaging the cable.
Always put the end of the actuator cable through the slot in the Termination Bracket. Terminating the cable through any other
hole in the bracket will cause the bracket to not function properly and will drastically reduce the life of the actuator cable.
Read installation and operating instructions thoroughly.

VI. INSTALLATION
1. If necessary, remove winch and winch plate.
Remove winch hook so winch can be removed
without the need to remove roller fairlead and
front skid plate.
2. Remove stock M10 fasteners that connect the
aluminum frame rails to the main body frame
(Figure 1). Keep the stock OE flange nuts, they
will be used to bolt on the front plow mount to
the ATV in the next step.
3. Slide plow mount into place from the side
opening of ATV (Figure 2). The plow mount
should sit behind the front frame rail flanges.
4. Using the provided M10 bolts (B5), rebolt the
frames and bottom of the plow mount together.
Use the existing stock OE flange nuts from step
2. Do not tighten completely.

INSTALLATION CONT.
5. Using the 30mm M8 bolts (B1), washers (B2),
spacers (B3) and M8 flange head nuts (B4),
continue to connect the mount to the frame rail
flanges (Figure 3 and 4).
6. Go back and securely tighten all four bolts from
steps 4 and 5 referring to the recommend torque
guidelines. If no winch installation necessary
please skip to step 9.
7. Slide winch through the side opening the same
way the plow mount was put into place (Figure
5). Allow extra slack in the winch rope to feed it
through the back of the roller fairlead (Figure 6).
Let the winch rest on top of the plow mount.
NOTE: Please see the WARN winch installation
instructions to install the roller fairlead.
8. Bolt the winch onto plow mount using the
provided bolts in the WARN winch kit. Tighten
bolts to recommended torque guidelines.

9. Place clamp around the back of the main frame
bar and bolt onto the plow mount (Figure 7).
Tighten bolts to recommended torque guidelines.
If no winch installation necessary skip to step 11.
10. See WARN winch kit installation instructions for
wiring and terminal connection to winch.
11. To attach the plow to the ATV align plow push
tubes with plow mount tabs. Lift plow push tubes
and set the pucks into the cradles of the plow
mount (Figure 8 and 9). Push pin (C1) through
the mount and push tube assembly and lock the
pin’s retaining clip onto the tabs.

VI. MAINTENANCE/CARE
•Inspect all metal parts on the plow, plow mount, and related hardware. Replace all parts that appears
rusted or deformed prior to use.
•Inspect all nuts and bolts on the plow, plow mount, and related hardware prior to each use. Tighten
all nuts and bolts that appear to be loose. Stripped, fractured, or bent bolts or nuts need to be
replaced immediately.
•Check all cables prior to use. Replace cables that are worn or frayed.
•Check all moving and rotating parts. Remove debris that may inhibit the part from moving freely.

connexions.

Sur des bords tranchants.
Par des pièces mobiles ou à proximité.

Isolez et protégez toujours tous les fils et bornes électriques exposés.
Installez toujours les capuchons de borne de la manière indiquée dans les instructions d’installation.
Faites toujours attention lorsque vous placez des composants.
Assurez-voustoujours que les composants sont bien fixés durant l’installation et l’utilisation.
Serreztoujours bien les écrous et les boulons conformément aux instructions d’installation.
Conduisez toujours le véhicule, équipé de la lame, à vitesse de marche.Ne dépassez jamais 8 km/h (5 m/h) même si la lame est relevée.
Utiliseztoujours la lame avec prudence. Tout impact avec un objet caché ou fixe pourrait bloquer soudainement le véhicule ou le rendre
incontrôlable.
Ne conduisez jamais le véhicule équipé de la lame sur des pentes de plus de 10 degrés.
Ne vous tenez jamais debout ou à califourchon sur la lame.
Tenez-vous toujours à l’écart des pièces mobiles et des joints. Ne laissez jamais personne s’approcher durant l’utilisation ou le réglage de
la lame.
Effectueztoujours régulièrement les inspections et l’entretien du mécanisme de la lame, des fixations, du câble et du matériel connexe.
Remplaceztoujours toutes les pièces usées ou endommagées avant l’utilisation.
Ne faites jamais fonctionner ce produit WARN avec des pièces endommagées ou manquantes.
Conduisez toujours lentement sur les terrains cahoteux ou accidentés. Le fait de conduire à des vitesses qui secouent la lame alors qu’elle
est en position relevée peut provoquer le déroulement du treuil, ayant pour effet de baisser la lame. La lame pourrait frapper un objet
stationnaire et, par conséquent, endommager le véhicule et blesser l’opérateur, voire entraîner sa mort.
Conduiseztoujours à des vitesses telles que la lame n’est pas secouée et en étant toujours attentif à la position celle-ci.
Gardez toujours à l’esprit que le crochet fileté a pour fonction de rompre la connexion entre la lame et le treuil pour éviter d’endommager
sérieusement le VTT si la lame est relevée trop haut. Si le crochet fileté casse, la lame tombera brusquement. Assurez-vous donc que
personne ne se trouve à proximité lorsque vous la relevez ou l’abaissez.
Évitez toujours de relever le haut de la lame au-dessus des phares du VTT car cela peut endommager le véhicule et la lame.
Remplaceztoujours un crochet fileté déformé ou brisé par le crochet fileté neuf fourni dans le kit.

Équipement endommagé
Reportez-vous toujours au Guide d’installation et de spécification, fourni dans le kit de treuil, pour tous les schémas de
câblage et des informations détaillées concernant la façon de brancher ce produit WARN sur votre véhicule.
Évitez de trop serrer le crochet fileté sur le support. Cela coincerait le câble du treuil contre le support et l’endommagerait.
Faites toujours passer l’extrémité du câble de relevage à travers la fente du support de terminaison. Si l’extrémité du câble
est introduite dans un autre trou du support, cela empêchera le bon fonctionnement du support et réduira de façon radicale la
durée de vie du câble de relevage.

1. Retirer au besoin le treuil et sa plaque. Retirer
le crochet du treuil de façon à pouvoir enlever
le treuil sans devoir retirer le guide-câble à
rouleaux et la plaque de protection avant.
2. Retirer les fixations M10 d’origine connectant
les rails du cadre en aluminium au châssis
(Figure 1). Garder les écrous à épaulement
d’origine. Ils serviront à boulonner le kit de
montage de lame avant au VTT à l’étape
suivante.
3. Glisser le kit de montage de lame en place par
l’ouverture latérale du VTT (Figure 2). Le kit de
montage de lame doit reposer derrière les
brides de rail de cadre avant.
4. Utiliser les boulons M10 fournis (B5) pour
reboulonner ensemble les cadres et la partie
inférieure du kit de montage de lame. Utiliser
les écrous à épaulement d’origine de l’étape 2.
Ne pas serrer complètement.

INSTALLATION SUITE
5. À l’aide des boulons M8 de 30 mm (B1),
rondelles (B2), espaceurs (B3) et écrous à
épaulement M8 (B4), continuer à connecter le
kit aux brides de rail de cadre (Figures 3 et 4).
6. Serrer à présent les quatre boulons des étapes
4 et 5 aux couples de serrage recommandés.
S’il n’y a pas besoin d’installer le treuil, passer à
l’étape 9.
7. Glisser le treuil par l’ouverture latérale de la
même façon que pour le kit de montage de
lame (Figure 5). Prévoir suffisamment de mou
pour que le câble puisse passer par l’arrière du
guide-câble à rouleaux (Figure 6). Placer le
treuil sur le dessus du kit de montage de lame.
REMARQUE : Se reporter aux instructions de
montage de treuil WARN pour installer le guide-

9. Placer l’étrier autour de la partie arrière de la
barre du cadre principal et le boulonner sur le
kit de montage de lame (Figure 7). Serrer les
boulons aux couples de serrage recommandés.
S’il n’y a pas besoin d’installer le treuil, passer à
l’étape 11.
10. Voir les instructions de montage du kit de treuil
WARN en ce qui concerne le câblage et la
connexion des bornes au treuil.
11. Pour fixer la lame au VTT, aligner les tubes
poussoir de lame avec les languettes du kit de
montage de lame. Soulever les tubes poussoir
de lame et placer les galets dans les berceaux
du kit de montage de lame (Figure 8 et 9).
Enfoncer la cheville (C1) dans le kit de montage
ainsi que le tube poussoir, puis verrouiller le clip
de retenue de la cheville sur les languettes.

VI. MAINTENANCE/ENTRETIEN
1. Inspectez toutes les pièces du treuil, de la plaque de montage et le matériel de montage connexe
avant toute utilisation. Remplacez tout matériel qui semble rouillé ou déformé.
2. Avant toute utilisation, inspectez tous les écrous et boulons du treuil, de la plaque de montage de
lame et du matériel de montage connexe. Serrez bien tous les écrous qui en ont besoin. Les écrous et
boulons foirés, fracturés ou tordus doivent être remplacés.
3. Vérifiez tous les câbles avant toute utilisation. Remplacez les câbles qui semblent usés ou effilochés.
4. Inspectez toutes les pièces mobiles ou rotatives. Retirez les débris pouvant gêner le libre mouvement
des pièces.
VII. DÉPANNAGE

Le câble

électrique
ne tourne
pas dans
le support

terminaison.
A. Vérifiez la
terminaison
du câble de
relevage.
1. Assurez-vous que
le câble est dans
la fente du support
de terminaison,
que la goupille
cylindrique est
fixée au câble et
que le support de
terminaison est
fixé de manière à
pencher vers la
lame.
1. Fixez le support à la
traverse de la lame, du côté
lame, en l’inclinant vers
celle-ci. Glissez l’extrémité
du câble de relevage dans
la fente du support de
terminaison. Glissez la
goupille cylindrique sur
l’extrémité du câble et
couvrez-la d’un écrou de 1/
4 po (D). Une fois terminé,
l’ensemble doit ressembler
à la Figure 12.
2. Assurez-vous
que trous de la
lame sont
parfaitement
alignés avec les
trous de son kit
de montage.

dans les trous et alignez-les.
