when power is on, press “1” and the lamp will light up. When
water begins to boil, the kettle will automatically shut itself off
and the lamp goes off.

General Safety Instructions
Read the owner’s manual carefully and keep it well.
1. Voltage supply must be in compliance with that on
the nameplate.
2. The kettle can only be connected with AC supply and
the socket should be grounded.
3. Never pull out the plug by drawing the wire.
4. Make sure not to hang power wire by the table or
contact high-temperature objects.
5. Make sure not to put the kettle near heat sources,
such as cooker or oven, etc.
6. Never put the kettle or base in damp place or soak in
water. Make sure not to touch the kettle with wet hand.
7. For any malfunctions or damages, send it to
authorized service station for maintenance.
8 If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
Manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard
9 The appliance is not to be used by persons(including Children)with
reduce physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
10 Children being supervised not to play with the appliance

11.If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected
12. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
application only.
13.. Power wire can not be replaced, if it is broken, the
whole kettle becomes useless.

Usage
For the first use, fill the kettle with water up to the maximum water
level, boils water and then pours boiling water out, then clean the
kettle with cool water, repeat this operation for one or two times to
completely eliminate dust caused in production or storage.
1. Put the power base on an even place.
2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill! Use the
water level lamp.
Caution: too much water may cause overflowing boiling water. That’s
dangerous!
3. Close the lid and fit the kettle on power base.
4. Insert the plug in 220-24OV～power source.
5. Switch the machine to position “1”. The lamp lighting up shows that
the water is being boiled.
6. Ten seconds after boiling, the kettle will automatically shut itself off
(with “0” downwards) and the lamp will go off, you can also press “0”
to shut off power manually.
Attention: after automatic power off, make sure not to press “1” with
force. If required, restart work till 30-60 seconds later.
Caution: never open the lid in operation. That’s dangerous

Special safety instructions
The kettle can only be used to boil water, never boil
milk, soup, coffer, tea or cook other food with in it.
•The kettle can only be matched with our special
power base.
•Water capacity should be neither lower than
minimum water level nor higher than maximum water
level.
•Fit the kettle well on base before pressing “1” for
boiling (Never press this button if the kettle is empty).
•Someone should look after the kettle during
operation, make sure to keep it away from children to
avoid scalds
•Do not open the lid during operation as hot steam
may hurt the user.
•Keep children far away from boiling water.
•Do not press “0” button immediately after boiled.
•Never boil an empty kettle.
•Pull out the plug if no use.
•For safety, do not pull the plug with wet hand

Cleaning and maintenance
1. Before cleaning, shut off power first, then lift the kettle from base
and cool it down, for safety, do not pull out the plug with wet hand.
2. Never disassembly the body or base by yourself.
3. Do not soak the kettle or base in water. Do not clean the kettle with
high-corrosive or polishing detergent.
4. Clean the body and base with wet cloth, clean the inside with water
or some detergent if required.
5. For best performance, check the filter regularly if there is any
furring, if any, flush it with water or eliminate it with soft brush (metal
cleaner is forbidden).
6. Please refer to relevant operation instructions for furring removal.
Furring removal
1 Add some citric acid (usually 2 spoons) in water before boiling.
2. Close the lid, fit the kettle on base and connect the power.
3. Press “1”to start boiling, when water begins to boil, the kettle will
automatically shut itself off. 30 minutes later, flush the kettle with
clean water for several times.
4. If necessary, repeat the above steps for complete cleaning.

through the dealer from whom it has been purchased or at any of the
Westinghouse authorized Service Centres.
The warranty is not valid in case:
Apparatus is not used according to user manual.
Defects caused by improper or reckless use
Repairs done by persons other than Westinghouse Authorized service centre.
Modifications of any nature made in the apparatus.
Tampered serial number.
Incomplete warranty card after purchase.
Product if used for commercial purpose (i.e. other than domestic use).
Usage of parts not recommended by Westinghouse or those made by other
manufacturers.
All consumables and parts susceptible to normal wear and tear are not covered
under warranty.
