36. Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane. Do not move while the kettle is
switched on.
37. To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alkaline cleaning agents when
cleaning, use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.
38. Unplug the appliance from mains before cleaning, immediately after use, when
moving it to storage and when not in use.
Do not touch the kettle body directly after use as it will retain heat
before moving or storing. Carry only by the handle.
Avoid spillage on the base and kettle connectors.

The supply cord supplied is short to reduce risk of entanglement or
tripping.
