安全说明
1) 绝不要将额温计用于其原始设计之外的用途，对于不当使用所引发的任何后果，
制造商不承担任何责任。
2) 额温计不防水，请勿将其浸在水里或者其他液体里，清洁与消毒请遵照《保养与
存储》一节里面的说明。
3) 将额温计放在远离日晒的地方，并且保存在干净、干燥，温度在 5℃～40℃，湿
度在 85%以下的地方。
4) 请勿用手指头或任何物体触摸探头内部的透镜。
5) 额头上的汗渍、头发、帽子或者围巾等遮挡物等可能会造成测量温度偏低，所以
请正确使用，以确保正确的测量结果。
6) 在每次使用之前，请检查传感器的玻璃透镜是否清洁、无油渍以及是否完好无
损。
7) 请勿跌落、撞击、拆卸、修理和改造产品。
8) 请勿靠近强静电场或强磁场，以免影响测量数据的准确性。
9) 如发现问题请不要继续使用，请和销售商联系，请勿自行修理。
10)电池及产品不能使用时，请遵守当地法规处理。
11) 产品长时间不用时，请取出电池，以免电池过期漏液。
12)电池请勿新旧混用，以免电池放电特性不一致而导致危害或者对产品造成损坏。
13)请确保在产品的工作环境温度范围 16℃～35℃内使用本产品，当产品在超出该
温度范围的环境内工作时，无法保证测量结果的准确性。
14)在任何情况下，请勿同时长按扳机键（测量键）及 MODE 键，该操作可能触发
额温计进入校准模式，若用户不慎触发之后额温计将无法使用，需要返厂进行设
置。
15)在向医生说明所测量的体温时，请说明是使用非接触式红外额温计测量。
警告：
1) 请确保额温计不会落入儿童或无能力使用额温计的人员手中。
2) 请勿将电池投入火中。
3) 使用额温计测量所得数据仅供参考，不能替代临床医学体温测量，亦绝不能替代
任何医学治疗。
本说明书以中文编写并附带英文翻译，如有歧义，以中文版为准。
1. 产品优点

6. 操作与显示

上电&复位
1) 产品有 2个功能键：MODE 键【BODY-SU RFACE】、 扳 机键【MEASURE】。
2) 上电或复位或者按扳机键时，LCD 全显示 2秒钟，背光同时点亮 2秒蜂鸣器
BI 一声进入体温模式，显示 Lo等待按键操作。
3) 上电默认显示单位：°C。

按键操作
1) 单按扳机键，开机，再按，开始测量，测量完毕数据停留。
2) 开机界面按【MODE】键切换体温→物温模式。
3) 开机界面长按【MODE】键 2秒进入设定模式，设置顺序为：F1（温度单位℃/
℉设定）F2（温度报警点设定）F3（温度偏移点设定）F4（蜂鸣器开关设
定）退出设定并关机。
a. 在设置 F1 模式下，单按扳机键切换温度单位摄氏度/华氏度，默认摄氏度℃；
b. 在设置 F2 模式下，单按扳机键向上增加温度报警点，默认 38℃，每按键 1次
增加 0.1℃，设定范围为 36℃至 40℃，设定到最大值 40℃时翻转至 36℃；
c. 在设置 F3 模式下，单按扳机键向上增加温度偏移点，默认为 0℃，每按键 1
次增加 0.1℃，设定范围为±1.6℃，设定到最大值 1.6℃时翻转至-1.6℃；
d. 在设置 F4 模式下，单按扳机键开关蜂鸣器，默认开。

显示功能

1) 温度测量结果显示：
a. 体温温度在 32°C~37.3°C，【 89.6°F~99.1°F】，正常，显示，绿灯亮；
b. 体温温度在 37.4°C~38°C，【 99.2°F~100.4°F】，不正常，显示，黄灯亮，连
续BIBIBIBI四声报警音提醒；
c. 体温温度在 38.1°C~43.2°C，【 100.5°F~107.6°F】，不正常，显示，红灯亮，
连续 BIBIBIBIBIBIBIBI 八声报警音提醒；
d. 在体温模式下，测量温度低于 32°C 时显示 Lo，高于 42°C 显示 Hi.
2) 额温表面温度计算转换成体温温度。
3) 测量过程中按键（动态过程），测量结束数据停留显示数据，便于记录。
4) 测温结束 BIBI 两声提示，按键音。
5) 低电压提示功能。
6) 25 秒无按键关闭屏幕显示，进入待机。
7) 环境温度低于 10°C 显示 ErL，高于 40°C 显示 ErH 请将本产品移至正常工作
环境温度范围下测量。

8. 使用前必看
测量额头皮肤表面温度时，应确保额温计指向前额正中并保持垂直方向！测量部位
请确保没有头发、汗水、化妆品或帽子等覆盖，否则将影响测量结果。
为确保测量精度，在测量之前，建议额温计和待测量体温的人均应在正常室温的室
内逗留最少 30 分钟。
为确保连续测量的精度，在两次测温之间建议等待 30 秒钟。
在睡眠刚醒时，建议等待 5分钟之后再测体温。
当被测人来自与测量环境温度差异较大的地方时，应最少在测试环境中滞留 5分钟
以上，待与环境温度一致之后再测量。
发烧病人额头冷敷或已经采取其它降温措施后会使测量数据偏低，应避免在这种情
况下测量。
被测人周围的环境温度要稳定，不能在风扇、空调的出风口等气流较大的地方测量。
在刚刚淋浴、游泳之后或因其他原因额头尚未完全干时，不建议测量体温。
在测量体温之前，不要进任何饮食，也不要从事体育运动。
每次测量时，只有读数完整显示及提示音完结后，才将额温计从前额拿开。
当额温计从与待测环境温度差异较大的地方取出使用时，应将额温计在新的使用环
境下放置 30 分钟后再测量。
不能在阳光强烈的地方使用本额温计。
建议每次测三次左右，以最高值作为测量结果。
测量人体额头温度，请选择体温模式；测量其他物体、液体等温度请选择物温模式。
如果因为某种原因导致额头温度偏低，可以尝试对准耳后测量。
如测量后对结果有怀疑，或受测人的实际身体状况感觉与所测得的体温不符，则建
议数分钟后再次测量。此外，建议应用其他独立方法测量体温，且/或咨询医生。
9. 保养与存储
红外探测头部分是产品最精密的部分，请勿用手指或者其它物品触摸或者顶压，必
须小心保护，否则会影响测量值的准确性。
请用酒精布或者 70%的酒精沾湿的棉布来清洁额温计的外壳，不要让液体进入额温
计内部。绝对不要用具侵蚀性的清洁剂、稀释剂或油来清洁，更不要将本产品浸在
水里或者其它液体里面。
小心保护好 LCD(液晶显示屏)的表面。
额温计必须保持干燥，避免灰尘，污染和太阳直射。
不使用时，应将其放入清洁干燥的盒子中，以防额温计受到外部因素的作用而损坏。
长时间不使用时，必须取出电池。

电量耗尽的电池应当立即取出。
10. 售后服务
本产品自购买之日起，我们根据以下条件提供 1年保修期。
在保修期内，因材料缺陷和制造缺陷所引致的部件缺陷，我们提供免费更换和修理，
该保修期不会延长。
电池(如有）与包装不在保修范围内。
保修服务的价值仅限于货物价格，在此特别指出，我们对任何间接损失不承担任何
责任。
我们针对下列因使用者的原因造成的损坏/损失请原谅我们无法提供免费保修服务：
1) 擅自拆装、改装产品而造成的故障;
2) 在使用或者搬运过程中不慎跌落而造成的故障;
3) 没有按照说明书的正确指示进行操作而造成的故障;
4) 因缺乏合理的保养而造成的故障;
5) 因不当存储造成的故障;
6) 任何因商业决策/因素造成的经济损失。
本产品为家用型号，故用户将本产品用作非家庭用途而导致损坏的，将无法享受保
修服务。
保修要求只能在保修期内提出，在要求提供免费保修服务时，您必须持填有购买日
期和购买经销商印章(包括经销商名称和地址)的保修卡。请务必在购买本产品时要
求经销商在保修卡上签章。请将额温计和上述完整填写和经盖章的保修卡通过经销
商或直接寄给我们。
保修范围外的修理服务，将按相应的规定收费。
11. 产品适用标准及指引
额温计按照电击类型、程度分类分别属于：内部电源、BF 型设备。
额温计按照有易燃麻醉气与空气的混合气，或者与氧或氧化亚氮的混合气情况下使
用时的安全程度进行划分属于：不能在此情况使用的设备。
额温计按照 GB4208 规定的进液防护程度分类属于：没有专门的防护，即不防水。
额温计按照运行模式分类属于：连续运行设备。
本产品符合 RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU Annex II amending Annex (EU) 2015/863
及amending Annex (EU) 2017/2102。
本产品符合 EC EMC directive 2014/30/EU with amendments ，测试标准
EN60601-1-2:2015。
本产品符合 PSE J 55011(H27) 测试标准。
本产品在中华人民共和国取得医疗器械注册及生产许可。
任何希望使用本产品为医疗相关用途的所在地非为中国的人士，请自行参考中华人

常见问题
常见问题 1：在之前可以正常测量的同一环境中测量出现“Lo”时，请问是什么原因：
答：可能的原因有：
1) 测量距离太远，可能测试的是周围环境的温度，本额温计设计的测试距离为 1-3 厘
米之间，最佳的测试距离为 1厘米左右。
2) 测试位置有偏差，测量体温时将额温计对准前额正中(眉心上方)并保持垂直。
3) 当被测人额头有头发遮挡、额头有汗或者有水、贴过退烧贴或者吃过退烧药物、额
头有对准空调吹过、有强烈的风吹过额头表面的都有可能出现"Lo”，要求被测者在
相对静止的环境中静止 5～10 分钟再进行测量。
4) 有极个别的人的额头表面温度比一般人低，这个时候测试结果可能都是“Lo”， 可以
把额温计调整到“表面温度”模式测量，然后再测试一下其它人的额头表面温度 ，做
个对比，此时可以当该人体温度正常来判定，主要关注的是高温报警或发烧出现
“Hi”。

5) F3-温度偏移设置参数有误。
常见问题 2：首次使用时觉得测试人体温度有偏差，请问是什么原因：
答：如果是首次使用请注意以下几个方面：
1）查看测温模式是否设置为物温模式，如果是物温模式，请切换为体温模式。
2）将额温计放置在稳定的环境温度中 30 分钟以上。
3）某些时候传感器的镜片被弄污或被测温人额头有汗水，都可能导致低读数，请在测
温前确保镜头完好干净，且受测对象额头干燥没有遮挡物。
4）有时若您怀疑测量所得读数过高，请观察受测对象，一般情况下，一个刚运动完，
例如快走或跑步的人，或刚吃完饭或刚从较热环境中离开的人，体温是有可能偏高
的，但不代表该人就一定有发烧的症状，这种情况下应让受测对象在稳定的室温环
境中呆一段时间后，再进行测量。
5) 某些人因为体征特别，额头温度较平均为低。这种情况下，使用传统的水银体温计
或者电子体温计对某健康的人进行测量，假设得到 36.8℃的温度。使用红外额温计
对同一个人进行测量，注意测试距离和测试方法：保持温度计和额头之间的距离在
1～3厘米之间，移开任何可能影响到测量的障碍物，如头发、汗液等，如果得到同
样的温度 36.8℃，则说明该额温计设置正常且可以正常使用，如果得到较低的读数
36.4℃，相差 0.4℃。您可以将 F3 值加 0.4℃，反之，多 0.4℃，您可以将 F3 值减
去0.4℃。
常见问题 3：额温计测试所有的人都报警，或者都偏高，或者都偏低是否产品质量问
题?
答：这类问题一般是额温计的设置问题所导致的，可以参考使用说明中的温度偏移值
设置。
常见问题 4：刚上电时显示电量低的图标 ，是否就是电量偏低？
答：上电时显示是所有图标均会全部显示，为自检状态，此时不代表电量的多少，自
检完成后电量图标消失，代表电量正常，如在测量时电量低图标亮，才是电量偏低报
警。
常见问题 5：为何我每次测量读数都不一样？
答：本产品可以进行连续测量，但很短间隔的连续快速测量很可能会影响测量结果的
准确性，因为：
1)测量距离难以保持一致。
2)测量位置或有差异。
3)测试对象的额温或产生了变化。
为了达致高准度的测量，一般建议，在两次测量中间隔 30 秒。
常见问题 6 : 有时候我看到显示显示“ErH”或者“ErL”且额温计无法工作，是坏了吗？
答：在体温模式下，如果周围的环境温度太高或者太低，就会见到上述告警信息。超
出工作环境温度范围测量所得的体温读数，其准确度无法保证。若您见到该等告警信
息，请移步至符合工作环境温度范围的环境中，静至额温计至少 10 分钟再进行测量，
若告警信息依然显示，请移走电池并等待 30 秒，再重新装上电池，其后体温计应可正
常工作。
常见问题 7：当我向医生报告测量体温的结果时，是否应当告知医生我是用非接触式
红外额温计测量的?
答：是的，请务必告知医生这一点。本产品属于家用产品，不能视为可取代临床医学
体温测量，应当让医生以临床体温测量手段获得您最新的体温数值。
常见问题 8：在呼吸道传染病暴发的时候，使用该产品会不会让我避免感染？
答：本产品的非接触特质在这种情况下或是一个有帮助的特色，但最重要的是使用者
要做好一切个人卫生防护措施；本产品并没有任何杀菌消毒功能，且使用者在每次使
用后应当以 70%酒精棉擦拭消毒产品外壳。
注意：
1、温度偏移值设置：可用于修改设置参数，以适应不同肤色的人种，或者不同特征的
人体；
2、为了确保测量的准确性，连续测量 5次后请至少等待 30 秒。

Safety Instructions
1) Never use the product for
any purpose other than its original design, the
manufacturer shall NOT be held liable for any damage resulting from improper
handling.
2)The thermometer is not waterproof; do not soak it in water or other liquids, for
cleaning and disinfection please follow the instructions in the Maintenance and
Storage section.
3)Keep the forehead thermometer away from sunlight and keep it in a clean and
dry place with temperature between 5℃to 40℃and humidity below 85%.
4) Do not touch the lens inside the probe with your fingers or any other objects.
5)
The sweat stains on the forehead, hair, hat or scarf, etc., may compromise the
accuracy of measurement, please use it correctly to ensure accurate
measurement.
6)Prior to every measurement, please check whether the glass lens of the sensor
is clean, free from grease, and is not damaged.
7) Do not drop, take hit, disassemble, repair or modify the product.
8)
Do not operate the product near strong electrostatic field or strong magnetic
field, in which accuracy of measurement is likely to be compromised.
9)
Please stop using the product if it is malfunctioning. Do not repair by yourself,
contact the supplier directly.
10)
Please comply with local regulations when you decide to dispose the product
and/or its batteries.
11) If the product is not used for a
long time, please take out the batteries to
avoid battery leak.
12)Please do not mix old and new batteries together to avoid damage caused by
inconsistent discharging characteristics of batteries.
13)When use the thermometer, please make sure the ambient temper
ature is in
the range of 16℃～35℃
, the accuracy of measurement is not guaranteed
when measuring takes place in environments
with temperature higher or
lower than the working temperature range.
14)
Under any circumstance, DO NOT long press/pull the trigger key(measure
key) together with the MODE key, this may trigger the thermometer to enter
the “calibration“ mode, which has to operate in factory/laboratory, the device
may not be able to function normally after this mode is entered.
15)
If you inform your doctor about the temperature measured, please also
mention that this temperature reading is obtained from a non-contact infrared
thermometer.
Warning
1) Please make sure the thermometer doesn’t fall in the hands of young children
or persons who cannot operate it themselves.
2) Do not put the batteries on/into fire.
3)
The measurement obtained by the thermometer is for reference only. This
product is not a replacement of clinical body temperature measurements. This
product is not and should not be deemed as a substitute of medical
treatments in any way.

Simple and handy: one-key measuring, one-key mode switching.
Alert by sound and light: in body temperature mode LCD backlight color
changes between green, yellow and red colors according to readings, with
"beep" sound as reminder.

6.Operation and Display

Power on & reset
1) Two function keys: MODE key【body/object temperature mode switch】,
trigger key【power on/ measure】.
2) When power on or reset or press the trigger button, the LCD displays fully on

for 2 seconds, LCD backlight simultaneously on for 2 seconds buzzer
makes “Beep”sound enter the body temperature mode and display “Lo”
ready for operation.
3) Default temperature display unit: ℃.

Keys
1) Press the trigger button once, turn on the device, press once again, start to
measure, and the measured reading stays on LCD screen
2) Press [MODE] while in the starting interface to switch between the body
temperaturethe object temperature mode.
3) Press [MODE]while in the starting interface and hold for 2 seconds to enter
the setting mode, setting sequence: F1 (setting temperature unit ℃/℉) F2
(temperature alarm setting) F3 (temperature offset setting) F4 (buzzer
on/off setting) exit setting and shut down.
a. In F1 mode, press the trigger button once to switch the temperature unit
Celsius/Fahrenheit, and the default is Celsius ℃;
b. In F2 mode, press the trigger button once to increase the temperature
alarm point, the default value is 38℃. Increased by 0.1℃every time you
press the button. The setting range is from 36℃to 40℃. When reaching
40℃, it goes back to 36℃and restart the previous process;
c. In F3 mode, press the trigger button once to increase the temperature
offset point, the default value is 0℃. Increased by 0.1℃every time you
press the button. The setting range is ±1.6℃.When reaching +1.6℃, it
goes back to -1.6℃and restart the previous process;
d. In F4 mode, press the trigger button once to switch on/off the buzzer. The
default setting is on.

Display and Alarms
1) Body temperature reading:
a. Body temperature reading range：32℃～37.3℃（89.6°F～99.1°F）display:
green, , alarm: none;
b. Body temperature reading range：37.4℃~38℃（99.2°F~100.4°F）display:
yellow, ,alarm: 4 continuous “Beep”sound;
c. Body temperature reading range：38.1℃~42℃（99.2°F~100.4°F）display:
red, ,alarm: 8 continuous “Beep”sound;
d. “Lo”is displayed If reading is lower than 32℃, “Hi”is displayed if reading is
higher than 42℃.
2) The measurement of forehead surface temperature is converted into body
temperature after calculation.
3) In case button is pressed during measuring procedure (dynamic process), the
reading obtained at the end of the measuring process stays on the screen,
easier to record.
4) Two “Beep”sound is made to signal the completion of a measuring process.
5) Low voltage reminder.
6) If no button is pressed for 25 seconds, the screen will be turned off and the
product enters into standby mode.
7) Under body temperature mode, if ambient temperature is materially higher
than the working temperature range, the thermometer displays “ErH”, if
ambient temperature is materially lower than the working temperature range,
the thermometer displays “ErL”. Under such circumstances, please relocate to
a suitable indoor environment to measure.

Read Before Use
Before measuring forehead temperature, make sure there is no hair, sweat,
makeup, hat or anything else covering the targeted position and the
thermometer is pointed perpendicularly to the middle of forehead.
To ensure measuring accuracy, it is recommended that the thermometer and the
person to be measured should be in a room at normal room temperature for at

least 30 minutes prior to the measurement.
In order to obtain the highest accuracy in successive measurements, please wait
for 30 seconds between two measurements.
After sleeping, is recommended to wait for 5 minutes before measuring the
body temperature.
When the person being measured is from a place where the temperature
thereof is materially different from the temperature of the environment which
the measuring process takes place, such person should stay in the measuring
environment for at least 5 minutes before the measuring process starts.
Cold compress on the forehead of a feverish patient or other cooling measures
alike is very likely to compromise the accuracy of the measurement, avoid
measuring under such circumstances.
The ambient temperature of the person being measured should remain stable,
do not measure body temperature in places with strong airflow such as in front
of a fan or air vents of air conditioners.
Do not measure body temperature directly after showering, swimming etc.,
when the forehead is wet.
Avoid eating, drinking or exercising prior to the measurement.
Remove the thermometer away from the measuring area only after the reading
is fully displayed on the LCD and the “beep”signal has been sounded.
When the thermometer is moved from a place to the place where measuring
takes place and there is a material temperature difference between the
measuring environment and the previous environment, it is suggested to place
the thermometer in the measuring environment for at least 30 minutes before
use.
Do not use under strong sunlight.
It is recommended, if possible, measure three times, and take the highest
reading.
Please select the body temperature mode to measure persons; please select the
material temperature mode to measure the surface temperature of objects,
liquids, etc.
In case the person’s forehead is too cold due to whatever reasons, try to point at
the skin behind ears to measure.
If the temperature measured is doubted and does not meet the feelings of the
measured person, it is recommended to repeat the measurement after some
minutes. Furthermore, it is recommended to use another independent method
of temperature measurement and/or to consult a doctor.

Maintenance and Storage
The infrared probe of the product is sophisticated and fragile. Please do not
touch or press it with your fingers or any other objects. Handle it with
carefulness or the accuracy of the measurements is likely to be compromised.
Please use 70% alcohol wetted cotton cloth to clean the outer casing of the
thermometer. Never use erosive detergents, diluents or oils, and never soak the
product in water or any other liquids.
Carefully handle the surface of the LCD.
Must keep the thermometer dry; avoid dust, pollution and direct sunlight.
To protect the thermometer from external influences please keep it in a clean
and dry box.
If you do not intend to use the thermometer for a longer period of time, you
should remove the batteries.
Immediately remove exhausted batteries.

After-sales Service
From the date of purchase, we offer one year free warranty in accordance with
the following conditions.
Within the warranty period, for faulty components which were caused by
material or manufacturing errors, we shall replace or repair them free of charge.
This does not extend the warranty period.
Batteries（if any)and packaging are not covered by the warranty.
Claim of compensation are limited to the value of the goods; compensation for
subsequent damages is expressly excluded.
In following cases the damages/losses caused by users are not covered by
warranty:
1) Problems caused by unauthorized disassembly or modification of products;
2) Problems caused by accidental drop during use or handling;
3) Problems caused by not following the instructions in the manual;
4) Problems caused by lack of proper maintenance;
5) Problems caused by improper storage of the product;

6) Any financial losses resulting from commercial decisions / factors.
This product is designed for home use, damages/problems resulting from non-
family use of the product will not be covered by warranty.
Claims must be made during the warranty period. When requesting a free
warranty service, you must hold a warranty card with the purchase date and the
dealer's seal on it (including the dealer's name and address). Please ask the
dealer to sign the warranty card when purchasing this product. Please send the
thermometer with fully completed and stamped warranty card direct or via your
dealer to us.
Repairing service not covered by the scope of warranty will be charged
according to the relevant policies.

Standards and Guidelines
According to the type and degree of electric shock, the product is classified as:
internal power supply, BF type equipment.
According to the degree of safety when used in the presence of a mixture of
flammable and/or anesthetic gas and air, or with oxygen or nitrous oxide, the
product is classified as: Equipment that cannot be used in this situation.
According to the degree of protection against liquid intake in GB4208, the
product is classified as: No special protection, i.e., not waterproof.
Classified by mode of operation: continuous operation equipment.
The product conforms with RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU Annex II amending
Annex (EU) 2015/863 and amending Annex (EU) 2017/2102.
The product conforms with EC EMC directive 2014/30/EU with amendments,
testing standard EN60601-1-2:2015.
The product conforms with PSE testing standard J 55011(H27).
The medical device registration certificate and production license of the product
are approved in the People’s Republic of China.
Any person who is not situated in China, if intend to use the product for any
medical purpose related uses, please refer to relevant Chinese standards and
regulations, and make own discretionary judgement on whether the domestic
standards are in equivalence or are compatible to Chinese standards. Other
than the aforementioned standards in this section, the manufacturer does NOT
undertake any specifications/performance/quality of the product that is/are
inconsistent (if any) with Chinese standards. The manufacturer shall not be held
liable for any damages/losses resulting from any inconsistency between Chinese
standards and domestic standards.

FAQ
Q1. Sometimes "Lo" appears, but in previous tests did in the same environment not
long ago it didn’t show that , why is it?
Answer:
The possible reasons are:
1) The measurement distance was too far, the thermometer was actually testing the
surrounding environment. Under body temperature mode, the measuring
distance designed is 1-3 cm, and the optimal distance is about 1 cm.
2) The thermometer might be pointing at the wrong position. When measuring
body temperature, aim the thermometer at the center of the forehead (above
the eyebrow) and keep it perpendicular to the forehead.
3) When the person under test has hair covered the forehead, sweat or water on
the forehead, had ice compress or cooling stickers or have taken antipyretics,
the forehead is blown by strong wind, etc, it may appear "Lo“. It is required the
person being tested to stay still in a relatively static environment for 5 to 10
minutes before taking measurements.
4) There are very few people whose forehead surface temperature is lower than
average. In such cases, the test result may be "Lo". You can adjust the
thermometer to “object temperature" mode to measure, and then test the
surface temperature of other people's forehead for comparison.
5) The F3-temperature overall offset setting parameter is incorrect. Try to correct it
or reset it to default, please refer to the operating manual for the procedure.
Q2: When I first used it to measure body temperature, I had doubt in the readings.
Why’s that and what can I do?
Answer:
When you first use the thermometer, please pay attention to the following
things:
1) Check if the temperature measurement mode is set to the object temperature
mode, if it is the object temperature mode, please switch to the body
temperature mode.
2) Place the thermometer in a stable room temperature environment for at least 30
minutes.

3) Sometimes smudgy/dirty lens of the sensor or sweat on the forehead leads to
low readings, make sure the lens is intact and the forehead is dry before
measurement.
4) If you think the reading is too high, observe the person that has been measured,
usually if a person just exercised, for example, fast walk or run, or the person has
just finished a meal or came from hot environment, it is likely the body
temperature is higher, kindly ask the person to stay indoor for a while till his/her
conditions return to normal, then measure again.
5) Some people might have unique physical characteristics such that the forehead
temperature is lower than average. Use a traditional mercury thermometer or
clinical electronic thermometer to measure someone who you are sure that
he/she is in healthy conditions, assume you then get a body temperature
reading of 36.8℃. Use an infrared thermometer to measure the same person,
pay attention to the test distance and test method: keep the distance between
the thermometer and the forehead between 1 and 3 cm, and remove any
obstacles that may affect the measurement, such as hair and sweat. If you get
the same temperature of 36.8℃, it means that the thermometer is working
normally and can be used normally. If you get a reading lower than 36.5℃, say
the difference is 0.4℃. You can switch to F3 mode and set the offset to +0.4℃,
vice versa.
Q3: It is always alarming when I tested anyone, either showing “Hi” or “Lo”? Is it a
product quality problem?
Answer:
This kind of problem is generally caused by the wrong offset setting of the
thermometer in previous uses. You can reset it to default or any desired value,
please refer to the temperature offset setting instructions in the operating manual.
Q4: When I turn the thermometer on, of which I’m quite sure the batteries are full,
but I noticed the “low battery ( ) ” icon was displayed, does this mean
the battery is low or the thermometer is malfunctioning?
Answer:
When power on, all icons on the LCD will be displayed, which is a self-
check state. Under power-on circumstances, it does not indicate low power. Only if
the low power icon is lit during measurement, it indicates the low power alarm.
Q5: Why do I get a different reading with each measurement?
Answer:
The product is able to perform multiple scans in a row, however, multiple
scans in rapid succession is likely to compromise the accuracy, due to
1) The distance might change.
2) The positions aimed might be different.
3) The temperature of the forehead skin might have changed.
In order to get an accurate measurement, it is therefore suggested, wait 30
seconds before next measurement.
Q6: Sometimes I see it displays “ErH” or “ErL” on the screen and cannot measure,
does this mean the device is malfunctioning?
Answer:
Usually under body temperature mode, the message “ErH”/”ErL” is
displayed when the ambient temperature is too high or too low. The infrared
thermometer has a working temperature range for ambient environment, which is
16℃～35℃, outside this range, the device can still work but the accuracy cannot be
guaranteed, therefore we embedded this alarming function to make sure your
measurement is accurate. In the event you see this message, please relocate to an
environment that is within the above mentioned working temperature range, let
the device settle for 10 minutes, then measure again, if the message remains,
remove batteries and wait for 30 seconds, then load batteries again, the device
should be able to function normally.
Q7: When I report the body temperature readings to a doctor, should I tell him/her
that it is obtained by a non contact infrared thermometer?
Answer:
Yes, please don’t forget to do so. The product is for family use and should
not be deemed as a replacement of clinical body temperature measurements, it is
important to let the doctor have updated body temperature readings via
independent clinical measures.
Q8: Under the outbreak of respiratory diseases, can this product keep me safe from
being infected?
Answer:
The non-contact nature of the product might be a comforting feature in
this case but it is most important that the user take all necessary measures to
protect him/herself. The product does not have any disinfection function and its
outer casing should be cleaned by 70% alcohol wetted cotton cloth every time
after use.
