Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
▪ Das Gerät darf nicht über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr
oder Fernbedienung betrieben werden.
▪ Diese Geräte können von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie
von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung
und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsich-
tigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit
dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung
dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei

Deshalb das Gerät nicht in der Nähe oder unterhalb

▪ Vorsicht, Verbrennungsgefahr: Die Temperatur der
berührbaren Oberflächen kann sehr heiß werden.
▪ Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt
wird, muss sie durch den zentralen Kundendienst des
Herstellers oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt
werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können
erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
▪ Den Toaster nicht in Wasser tauchen.
▪ Beim Reinigen nicht mit den Fingern oder Gegenstän-
den wie Gabel, Messer o. ä. in die Röstschlitze hinein-
langen.
▪ Beim Toasten herabfallende Krümel sammeln sich in
der Krümelschublade. Zum Entleeren drücken Sie kurz
gegen die Krümelschublade.
Danach können Sie diese aus dem Gerät zu ziehen.

▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅Bei Störungen während des Betriebes

▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen, wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.
▪ Beim Toasteinlegen beachten, dass sich Brotscheiben nicht verklemmen. Sollte
dies doch einmal passiert sein, erst den Netzstecker ziehen und dann die
Störung beseitigen.
▪ Nicht mit den Fingern oder Gegenständen wie Gabel, Messer o. ä. in die
Röstschlitze hineinlangen.
▪ Toaster nur aufrecht stehend und frei aufgestellt betreiben.
▪ Röstschlitze während des Toastens nicht abdecken. Keine Brotscheiben oder
Brötchen auf das Gehäuse legen, da dies zur Überhitzung im Gerät führt.
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachgerechter Repa-
ratur wird keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden übernommen. Ebenso sind
Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen ausgeschlossen.
▪ Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
Verwendung
Dieser Toaster ist geeignet für Brotscheiben, XXL Toastscheiben (bis zu einer
Größe von 11x11cm), Hefezopf und ähnlichen Backwaren mit einer maximalen
Dicke von 3 cm.
Verwenden Sie nur Backwaren ohne Füllung oder Belag wie z. B. Butter, Konfitüre.
Inbetriebnahme
Die nicht benötigte Länge der Anschlussleitung kann am Boden aufgewickelt
werden. Den Netzstecker an eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch mindestens 3 Toastvorgänge ohne Brot bei mittle-
rer Einstellung ablaufen lassen, um den Oberflächenschutz der Heizelemente
zu entfernen. Die dabei auftretende Geruchsbelästigung ist unbedenklich,
trotzdem sollte dabei gut gelüftet werden. Vor jedem Einschalten das Gerät
etwas abkühlen lassen.
Die Toastscheiben in die Röstschlitze einlegen. Damit sie nicht verklemmen,
dürfen sie nicht dicker als 30 mm sein. Kleine Scheiben hochkant nebeneinander
in einen Röstschlitz stellen, so können sie nach dem Toasten besser entnommen
werden.
Den Drehknopf für den Bräunungsgrad vorerst auf mittlere Stufe stellen. Die
Lifttaste nach unten drücken. Das Gerät schaltet ein, die Lifttaste fährt für die
Dauer des Toastvorgangs automatisch ca. 2 cm nach oben in die Halteposition.
Nach Ablauf der Toastzeit fährt die Lifttaste zurück in die Ausgangsposition, das
Gerät schaltet automatisch ab und der fertige Toast wird zur Entnahme aus dem
Röstschlitz gehoben.

Hinweise zum Bräunungsgrad
Ist der Toast zu hell - eine höhere Reglereinstellung wählen. Ist er zu dunkel,
den Regler niedriger einstellen. Mit dem Regler können Sie ganz nach Ihrem
Geschmack Toast von nur ganz leicht (Einstellung min ) bis kräftig, dunkel
gebräunt (Einstellung max ) toasten.
Das Röstergebnis kann bei gleicher Einstellung in Abhängigkeit von der Brotsorte,
Größe, Feuchtigkeitsgehalt und Dicke der Scheiben unterschiedlich sein. Deshalb
für weniger feuchtes Brot, kleinere Scheiben und auch beim Toasten von nur
einer Scheibe eine geringere Einstellung wählen.
Wird nur eine Scheibe getoastet, ist die Bräunung auf der innen liegenden Seite
etwas intensiver.
Bei zu starker Bräunung entsteht verstärkt Acrylamid. Beim Toasten ist des-
halb ein zu starkes Anbräunen zu vermeiden.
Abbruch des Toastvorganges
Zum vorzeitigen Abbrechen, kann die leuchtende Taste gedrückt werden.
Aufwärmen / Nachtoasten
Wird unmittelbar nach dem Einschalten des Gerätes die Aufwärm-Taste
gedrückt, wird unabhängig vom eingestellten Bräunungsgrad bereits erkalteter
Toast wieder knusprig aufgewärmt und zu helles Brot etwas nachgetoastet.
Auftauen
Wird die Taste unmittelbar nach dem Einschalten gedrückt, wird der Toastvor-
gang automatisch verlängert, um gefrorenes Brot zu toasten.
Toast entnehmen
Durch die integrierte Lift-Automatik können auch kleine Brotscheiben sicher und
einfach entnommen werden.
Brötchenaufsatz
Der Toaster verfügt über einen integrierten Brötchenaufsatz. Er wird aufgestellt
indem die Taste nach unten gedrückt wird.
Zwei Brötchen können von beiden Seiten bei jeweils mittlerer Einstellung aufge-
backen werden. Zu trockene Brötchen vorher etwas anfeuchten, so gelingen sie
besser.
Krümelschublade
Beim Toasten herabfallende Krümel sammeln sich in der Krümelschublade. Zum
Entleeren drücken Sie kurz gegen die Krümelschublade.
Danach können Sie diese aus dem Gerät zu ziehen.
Reinigung und Pflege
Vor dem Reinigen Netzstecker ziehen und Gerät abkühlen lassen. Im Röstschlitz
an den Gittern und der Heizung festgebackene Krumen mit einem harten Pinsel
entfernen. Dabei das Gerät nicht kippen, sonst entleert sich die Krümelschublade
in das Geräteinnere. Die Schublade anschließend herausziehen, reinigen und
danach wieder einschieben.
Den Toaster keinesfalls in Wasser tauchen. Das Geräteäußere nur mit einem
feuchten Tuch und etwas Spülmittel reinigen. Keine scharfen oder scheuernden
Reinigungsmittel verwenden.

Garantie-Information
Für unsere Geräte übernehmen wir gegenüber dem Endkunden eine 24-monatige
Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Sie beginnt mit dem Kauf des Gerätes durch den Endkunden
und gilt im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie sind unter Vorlage des Kaufbelegs direkt gegen-
über unserem zentralen Kundendienst geltend zu machen.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Schäden durch normalen Verschleiß,
unsachgemäßen Gebrauch sowie unterbliebene Pflege.
Der Endkunde besitzt zusätzlich zu den Ansprüchen aus dieser Garantie gesetzli-
che Ansprüche wegen Mängeln des Gerätes gegenüber seinem direkten Verkäufer/
Händler, die durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt werden.

▪ Falling crumbs are collected in the crumb tray during
toasting. To empty, briefly press against the crumb tray.

Additional safety instructions
▪ The mains plug is to be pulled:
⋅If malfunctions occur during use
⋅before cleaning and care
⋅after use.
▪ Only connect the device to properly installed earthed sockets. The wire and
plug must be dry.
▪ Never operate the toaster unattended.
▪ Do not pull the connecting cable over sharp edges or clamp it. Do not let it
hang down and protect it from heat and oil.
▪ Do not place the device on hot surfaces, such as hot plates or similar, and do
not operate near open flames.
▪ Do not operate the toaster without the crumb tray inserted.
▪ Never disconnect the mains plug from the socket by the cord or with wet
hands.
▪ Stop using the appliance and/or connect it from the mains plug immediately
if:
⋅The appliance or mains cable is damaged
⋅There is any suspicion of a fault after dropping the appliance or similar.
In such cases, send the appliance to be repaired.
▪ When inserting the toast, ensure that the bread slices do not get jammed.
However, should this happen, first pull the power plug and then remove the
interference.

▪ Only operate the toaster in the upright position away from other objects.
▪ Do not cover the bread slots during toasting. Do not lay any bread slices or
rolls on the casing, as this causes the device to overheat.

or unprofessional repairs. Claims under warranty are likewise excluded in such
cases.
▪ The appliance is not designed for commercial use.
Use
This toaster is suitable for standard slices of bread, XXL slices of bread (up to
11x11cm in size), plaited yeast buns and similar bakery products with a maximum
thickness of 3 cm.
Only use bakery products without fillings and toppings such as butter and jam.
Start-up
The section of the power cable not in use can be wound up and stored on the
base of the appliance. Connect the power plug to a shockproof socket.
Prior to first use, carry out at least three toasting cycles without bread
and at maximum power, to remove the surface protection on the heating
elements. The smell released during this process is harmless, but you should
ensure good ventilation nevertheless. Always allow the appliance to cool
down a little before switching it on.
Insert the toast slices into the toasting slots. To avoid slices becoming jammed,
they should not be thicker than 30 mm. Insert small slices upright and next
to each other in a toasting slot; this will make it easier to remove them after
toasting.
To begin with set the control knob for the browning degree to medium level.
Push down the bread carriage lever. The device switches on and the lift button
automatically moves about 2 cm upward into the holding position for the
duration of the toasting process. After the toasting time expires, the lift button
returns to the initial position, the device automatically switches off and the
finished toast is raised from the bread slot for removal.
Notes on the browning level
If the toast is too light, select a higher control setting. If the toast is too dark,
place the control on a lower setting. The higher the setting, the darker the
browning is. With the control, you can brown toast entirely to your taste from
just slightly (min setting ) to strong, dark brown (max setting ).
The toasting result may vary at the same setting depending on the type, size,
moisture and thickness of the bread slices. Therefore, select a lower setting when
toasting less moist bread, smaller slices or only one slice.
When toasting only one slice, the browning level on the side facing inwards will
be slightly more intensive.
Acrylamide is generated during excessive browning. Excessive browning of
the toast should therefore be avoided.

Interrupting the toasting process
Press the illuminated button to interrupt the toasting process.
Warming / retoasting
If the warming button is pressed immediately after switching on the appliance,
cold but already toasted bread will be crisped up and too lightly toasted bread
will be slightly retoasted.
Defrosting
If this button is pressed directly after the appliance is switched on, the toas-
ting cycle will be extended automatically to toast frozen bread.
Removing the toast
With the integrated automatic lift mechanism, small slices of bread can also be
removed safely and easily.
Bread roll attachment
The toaster is fitted with an integrated roll attachment, which can be used by
pressing the button downwards.
Two rolls can be warmed up from either side on a medium setting in each case.
Rolls which are too dry should be moistened slightly beforehand - it works better
this way.
Crumb tray
Crumbs produced during toasting are collected in the crumb tray. You can then
pull the tray out of the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow the appliance
to cool down. Use a hard brush to remove crumbs sticking to the grids and the
heater. Do not tilt the appliance while you do this, or crumbs will spill from the
crumb tray into the inside of the toaster. Then pull out the crumb tray, clean it
and reinsert.
Never immerse the toaster in water. Wipe the outside of the appliance only with
a damp cloth and some washing-up liquid. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning
agents.

▪ This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363 fitted to the
mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable for your socket outlets or needs to be
replaced, please note the following. If the plug is a non-rewireable one, cut
it from the mains lead and immediately dispose of it. Never insert it into a
socket outlet as there is a very great risk of an electric shock.
▪ The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be done according to the
following instructions:

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not corres-
pond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed

⋅the wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol or
coloured green or green and yellow,
⋅the wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which
is marked the letter N or coloured black,
⋅the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
▪ If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be fitted with a 13 A fuse conforming
to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If any other type of plug is used, the
appliance must be protected by a 10 A fuse either in the plug or adapter or at
the distribution board.
If in doubt - consult a qualified electrician.
▪ Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.

▪ Veiller lors de l’insertion des toasts à ce que les tranches ne se coincent pas. Si
cela devait arriver, débrancher la fiche de contact au préalable puis éliminer le
problème.
▪ Ne pas mettre les doigts ou des objets tels que fourchettes, couteaux ou
équivalent dans les fentes.
▪ Faire fonctionner le grille-pain uniquement en position verticale et dégagé.
▪ Ne pas couvrir les fentes durant le dorage. Ne pas poser des tranches de pain
ou de petits pains sur le boîtier, car cela peut engendrer une surchauffe dans
l’appareil.
▪ Nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour des dommages éventuels en cas
d’utilisation détournée, de mauvaise utilisation, de réparation inappropriée.
Dans des tels cas toute intervention sous garantie est exclue.
▪ L’appareil ne doit pas faire l’objet d’un usage professionnel.
Utilisation
Ce grille-pain est indiqué pour les tranches de pain, les tranches de toasts XXL
(jusqu’à une dimension de 11 x 11 cm), les brioches et d’autres pains et pâtisseries
similaires d’une épaisseur maximale de 3 cm.
Utilisez uniquement les pains et pâtisseries sans garniture ou farce comme par ex.
le beurre ou la confiture.
Mise en service
La longueur du cordon d‘alimentation qui n‘est pas nécessaire, peut être enroulée
autour du fond. Raccorder la fiche à une prise de contact de sécurité.
Avant le premier emploi, faire au moins 3 opérations sans pain à un réglage
maximal afin d‘éliminer la protection superficielle des éléments chauffants.
Les odeurs qui se produisent à cette occasion, sont inoffensives, mais il
faudrait malgré tout bien aérer. Avant chaque branchement, laisser refroidir
un peu l‘appareil.
Introduire les tranches de pain dans les fentes. Elles ne doivent pas avoir une
épaisseur supérieure à 30 mm pour ne pas se coincer. Placer les petites tranches
de chant l‘une à côté de l‘autre dans une fente, vous pourrez ainsi mieux les sortir
du grille-pain.
Placer d‘abord le bouton pour le degré de cuisson au le niveau moyen. Pousser la
touche d‘élévation vers le bas. L‘appareil se met en marche, le levier du plateau
remonte automatiquement d‘env. 2 cm dans la positon d‘arrêt pour toute la durée
du processus de dorage. Le levier du plateau revient après le temps de dorage à la
position de départ, l‘appareil s‘éteint automatiquement et le toast ainsi grillé est
remonté dans la fente.
Indications concernant le degré de cuisson
Si le toast ne devait pas être assez doré – positionner le sélecteur rotatif sur un
réglage supérieur. S’il est trop doré positionner le sélecteur rotatif sur un réglage
inférieur. Plus le réglage est élevé, plus le dorage sera prononcé. Vous pouvez, à
l’aide du régleur, préparer votre toast selon votre goûts de faible dorage (réglage
min ) jusqu’au dorage fort à foncé (réglage max ).
Le résultat de la cuisson peut être différent pour le même réglage en fonction
de la sorte de pain, de sa taille, de sa teneur en humidité et de l‘épaisseur des
tranches. C‘est pourquoi choisir un réglage plus faible lorsque vous avez du pain
moins humide, des tranches plus petites et une tranche uniquement.

Si vous ne faites griller qu‘une seule tranche, la cuisson sera un peu plus intensive
sur le côté dirigé vers l‘intérieur.
Si la cuisson est trop forte, la production d‘acrylamide est importante. C‘est
pourquoi il faut éviter que le pain ne blondisse trop.
Interruption de la cuisson
Pour interrompre prématurément, il est possible d‘appuyer sur la touche lumi-
neuse .
Réchauffer / Recuire
Si vous appuyez sur la touche de réchauffe immédiatement après le branche-
ment de l‘appareil, le pain déjà refroidi sera à nouveau réchauffé et croustillant
indépendamment du niveau de cuisson réglé et un pain trop clair sera recuit un
peu.
Dégivrage
Si vous appuyez sur cette touche immédiatement après le branchement, le
temps de cuisson sera prolongé automatiquement afin de griller du pain congelé.
Retirer le toast.
Grâce au levier automatique intégré, vous n‘aurez aucun mal à retirer même les
petites tranches de pain en toute sécurité.
Chauffe-viennoiseries
Le grille-pain est équipé d‘un chauffe-viennoiseries. Il est mis en place en
abaissant le levier.
Deux petits pains peuvent être réchauffés des deux cotés avec le réglage moyen
du thermostat. Si les petits pains sont trop secs, les humecter au préalable, ainsi le
résultat sera meilleur.
Tiroir ramasse-miettes
Pendant la cuisson, les miettes qui tombent, s‘accumulent dans le tiroir ramasse-
miettes. Ensuite vous pourrez le retirer de l‘appareil pour le vider.
Nettoyage et entretien
Avant le nettoyage, retirer la fiche de courant et laisser refroidir l‘appareil.
Éliminer les miettes calcinées dans la fente sur les grilles et le chauffage avec
un pinceau dur. Ne pas faire basculer l‘appareil, sinon le tiroir ramasse-miettes
se vide à l‘intérieur de l‘appareil. Ensuite sortir le tiroir, le nettoyer et le replacer
ensuite.
Ne pas plonger le grille-pain dans l‘eau. Ne nettoyer l’extérieur de l’appareil
qu’avec un chiffon humide et un peu de produit pour la vaisselle. Ne pas utiliser
de produit nettoyant caustique et abrasif.

ménagers habituels, mais il doit être déposé dans un point de collecte pour le
