1. Preface
First of all, thanks very much for choose our IP phone---PH802, thank you for your trust in our
company.
Our IP Phone PH802 completely follows VOIP standard offered by ISO, setting in two Protocols:
SIP and IAX2, fully compatible with SIP industry standard and can interoperate with many other
SIP compliant devices and software in the market.
In order to make full use of our IP phone PH802 and getting the best return, please read the user
manual carefully before using it and keep the manual for reference.
This manual introduces the IP Phone PH802’s Installation, basic function, and special function,
we hope this could help you to understand all the function soon and use them proficiently.
Note: since the product update, the manual will change, please visit to our website
www.5111soft.com to see about. We will do not inform you. Thank you for your understanding.
2. Installation
2.1 Installation
◆Insert the power adapter’s plug into the phone front Power jack (DC 5V) and the 2-prong
plug end of which into grounded power outlet;
◆Start up the IP phone by turning the front switch stated ‘ON’ & ‘OFF’ to ‘ON’;
◆Connect the internet cable into wan port, and then follow below installation checking
way.
If need to set up small LAN network, find the LAN cable in the box and connect between
LAN port and your PC (PC is not required to set up for making a call)
3. WEB Config
zPress SYSINFO under LCD display to check the phone’s IP address
zInput the IP address in browser’s address bar, like http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/. (If the WEB
logon port is 8080 instead of 80, you need to input the port at the end,

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx：xxxx/, for example, http://192.168.1.18:8080. Or user cannot
find the phone web page.)
zTwo default users for verification are admin（user name and password are both admin）
and guest (User name and password are both guest).
3.1 current state
Network: Display the current configuration of WAN, LAN: including getting the WAN IP
method and IP(Static, DHCP, PPPoE), MAC address, WAN IP address, LAN IP
address, LAN DHCP server state (on/off).
VOIP: show the current default signal protocol in use, and some parameters of each
protocol: including Register SIP server IP, proxy server IP address, whether enables
register, whether has registered on, whether enables outbound proxy, whether
enables STUN server.
Phone number: Display the current configured number and the number type.
The version code and issued date is shown on the end of the page.
3.2 Network
WAN ----- See the current network IP connection mode through this page.
Three mode of getting IP: static, DHCP, PPPOE
Static: If the system uses the static connection mode, then can set the network IP, Phone,
DNS manually.
DHCP: The system can use DHCP service in the network, then choose the DHCP service

and getting the dynamic IP address after submission.
PPPOE: If choose the PPPOE service, fill in the account and password of the PPPOE
service provider, the system will get the public IP address after submission.
Note: If the user logs on by WAN IP and modify the WAN IP, must log on the new IP
address after submission.
Configure explanation:
Display the active IP, net mask, Mac and current IP phone’s IP address
The Mac address authentication, means MAC is Valid，if it is Invalid，means the IP
phone’s MAC is invalid, need to contact manufacture.
choose getting WAN IP method; This is single option.

Configure subnet mask
Configure default gateway
Configure "dns domain" suffix; if user input "domain" and it can't
be parsed, the phone will parse after adding this domain
Main DNS server IP address
The second DNS server IP address. When main DNS
server IP address isn’t available, the phoen will change to use the second DNS server IP address
automatically.
Configure PPPoE:
Service name, if PPPoE ISP has no
special requirement for this name, generally use the default;
PPPoE User name
PPPoE password
Fill in the right PPPOE’s user name and password, after submitting the config, the phone will
obtain IP address automatically.
LAN ---- User can make LAN configuration on this page, when bridge mode is choose, the
local LAN configuration will no longer go into effect.
Configuration Explanation:
Bridge mode (transparent mode): bridge mode will make the IP Phone no longer
set IP address for LAN physical port, LAN and WAN will join in the same network.；（this
configuration should be saved and reboot, will go into effect）

automatically modify the adjustment and save the configuration according to IP and subnet mask
team DHCP Lease Table, user need to restart the IP Phone to make DHCP server configuration go
into effect LAN port DHCP server
Enable NAT.
Note: After switch between Bridge mode and route mode, you need to save and reboot the phone
to make it work. In Bridge Mode, the device's IP address connect to the LAN port will be under
the same net segment with the phone's WAN port IP address, the phone act as a bridge.
3.3 voip
3.3.1 Sip config
Configuration Explanation:
Display the SIP registered state of phone; if register successfully, will be
display Registered in the square brackets, otherwise display Unregistered.
Configure SIP register server IP address, can be domain
name.
Configure SIP register server signal port.
Configure SIP register account（usually it is the same
with the port number that configured, some special SIP servers will have different port

configurations, then the port configuration needs to be configured to be numbers, here the
configuration account can be arbitrary character string）.
Configure password of SIP register account.
Configure proxy server IP address（usually SIP will
provide user with service of proxy server and register server which have the same configuration,
so the configuration of proxy server is usually the same with that of register server, but if the
configurations of them are different(such as different IP addresses), then each server's
configuration should be modified separately.
Configure SIP proxy server signal port.
Configure proxy server account.
Configure proxy server password.
Configure the phone number.
Configure SIP domain。When the server don’t need the
sip terminal to be local domain as the indicated domain, can configure the same address and
domain with server in the local domain. The system predigest the user to input, user can’t input the
local domain. The system will gain the proxy server addr automatically and fill out the content as
the domain realm.
Configure local signal port, the default is 5060（this
port will go into effect immediately, the SIP call will use the modified port for communication
after modification）
Configure expire time of SIP server register,
the default is 600 seconds. If the expire time that server requires is more or less than that
configured by the phone, the phone can automatically modify it to the recommended time limit
and register.
Configure detection interval time of the
server, if the phone enables SIP detection server function, the phone will detect once for whether
the server has response every other detection interval time.
Configure the RFC protocol Edition. When the IP phone
need to communicate with CISCO5300 or other SIP1.0 device need to choose RFC2543.
Configure DTMF mode, different service provider
may provide different mode, normally choose DTMF_RFC22833
Enable/disable signal encrypt.
Enable/disable signal encrypt.

3.3.2 IAX2 config
IAX2 server address, can be domain name
IAX2 server port
Username authentication.
Password authentication.
Register phone number
IAX2 local port in device.
If IAX2 supports voice mail, the voice mail is in the form of letters, it can’t
input letters, so replace the numbers with the name of voice mail。
If IAX2 supports voice mail, hereto configure the name of voice mail.
If the platform supports circle loop, the echo test number is text formatting,
then replace the echo test number which phone configured with the echo text number. This
function can be tested by platform or terminal. The call be tested it is normal or not from terminal
to platform.

Enable to register to the server
The iax2 protocol is the default call protocol. That is said, if choose this

option, user picks up the handset and dial number, it will be communicated by IAX2 protocol. The
default of phone is SIP protocol, this configuration is aimed at the caller party, the receiver party
wouldn’t be affected. If user configures this item, it won’t be used SIP, but IAX. If user wants to
give a call by SIP simultaneously, then can configure the function of prefix substitution in the item
of Dial peer and achieve the SIP call.

3.4 Advance Config
3.4.1 DHCP service
Configure the DHCP service, user can definite dynamic IP distributive range and other
configurations etc.
Configuration Explanation
Configure the DNS Relay method；If select this item, user can connect the
LAN equipment, then the LAN port IP address will be served as the DNS address, it is default on.
Choose this item, click "apply" to go into effect.
Display the lease table of the configured DHCP, the lease time unit is minute
Add the lease table name
Add the lease IP time
Add the lease start IP。LAN ports begin to search the leisure
IP address from this start IP address. Then distribute the DHCP devices in the LAN port

the end IP of add the lease table. The quantity from the
beginning to the end depends on the enable IP quantity which connect to the devices in the LAN
port. The DHCP gain the address which connect with any device in the LAN port must be in the
range from the Start IP to the End IP.（The size of the lease table can not beyond the address
quantity of the net type C, recommend not to modify this, use the default lease table）
Add the lease table net mask
Add the lease table default IP of phone’s LAN port
Add the lease table default DNS IP；Click “ADD” and
submit, then can add DHCP lease table;
Choose the deleted lease table name in the up down menu,
click “Delete” and submit, then delete the item from the DHCP Lease Table.
Note: If the user modify the DHCPlease table，need save the configuration and restart, then
go into effect.
3.4.2 NAT
Configuration Explanation:
Configure enable/disable IP Sec ALG, default off
Configure enable/disable FTPALG, default on
Configure enable/disable FTPALG，default on
After selecting, click “apply” and submit, then go into effect;
Configure the TCP of NAT and the in-net mapped of UDP;
Configure the mapped protocol type of NAT, TCP or UDP

Configure the LAN IP address which NAT mapped
Configure the LAN port which NAT mapped
Configure the WAN port which NAT mapped the phone
After configuration, click and add it to the mapped table, click and delete
it from the mapped table.
NAT configure example:
IP PHONE WAN PORT IP address is 192.168.1.110, Gateway or IP phone WAN PORT IP address
192.168.10.2, PC’s IP address is 192.168.1.111, see the below connection chart:
If user want to access the gateway and IP phone’s web configure page, he need configure NAT as
below:
After saving, NAT is OK. User can input http://192.168.1.110: 8080 to access the IP phone or
gateway’s web interface. When you input http：//192.168.1.110, you can access the IP phone
PH802’s web interface.
Note: Please don’t configure outside port and inside port as the same port. Otherwise if you input
http://192.168.1.110, you can only access to gateway or IP phone’s web interface.
3.4.3 Net Service
Can set Telnet, HTTP, RTP, meanwhile can see the DHCP IP Lease table.

Configuration Explanation:
Configure web browse port, the default is 80 port, if you
want to enhance system safety, you'd better change it into non-80 standard port，modify it and save
the setting, by the method of logging in http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx：xxxx/
Configure telnet port, the default is 23 port
Enable RTP initial port configuration. It is dynamic
allocation.
Configure the maximum quantity of RTP port. The default is
200
Leased IP-MAC correspondence table of DHCP
Note: Should save and restore, then go into effect after modifying configuration on this page.
If the Telnet, HTTP port will be modified, the port is better to be set as greater than
1024,because the 1024 port system will save ports; Set the HTTP port as 0, then the http
service will be disabled.
3.4.4 Fireware Defence
Can set to input or output the firewall on this page，meanwhile can configure the input/output rules
of the firewall, use these configuration to protect some evil IP to browse the phone, improve the
security.
Access list is a simple module just like the CISCO visit controlling list (firewall defense). This
function supports two rules: input and output. Each rule will distribute one series number; every
kind of rule can allow to configure 10 pieces in max.

Configuration example:
Configure and filter the imcp package which connected with the device in the LAN port and sent
from WAN net phase. The WAN port IP of phone is 192.168.10.77，LAN IP is 192.168.1.86.
Configure Explanation:
Means open the output rule appliance
choose the current added rule is input or output rule
Choose the current rule configuration: ban /allow
Source address. It can be the IP address or the network address
source mask, when configure it to 255.255.255.255, means it is the
specific host, when it is configured in 255.255.255.0 as the net mask, it explains it is the network
address
destination network address, when it is configured in 255.255.255.255,
just explains that it is the specific host, when it is set to subnet mask in 255.255.255.0, means it is
the network ID
source mask，when configure it to 255.255.255.255, means it is the

specific host, when it is configured in 255.255.255.0 as the net mask, it explains it is the network
address.
When add this configure, the output rule table will one item, like the below table show:
Then select ，click the button ”apply”
After submit click Æ Æ , then reboot, the configure will go into
effect, Then only 203.81.177.102 can access the device via WAN port. Other IPwon’t have access to the device.
3.4.5 QoS
QoS configure include: QoS Control based on 802.1p for different IP users. The QoS is used to
mark the network communication priority in the data link/MAC sub-layer. IP phone will sorted the
packets using the QoS and sends it to the destination. QoS provides service classes for accessing
traffics in Internet.
Enable VLAN, you need to configure the LAN Setting in Bridge Mode.
Configure VLAN ID, range from 0 to 4095.
Configure the 802.1P value.
Enable Diffserv, so it will ensure the priority of the data transfer.
Configure Diffserv value.
Note: you need to set your IP PHONE work in bridge mode to make VLAN function work and
make sure your PC and PH802 in the same VLAN, otherwise your PC will have no access to
PH802.

3.4.6 SIP advanced config
Set SIPSTUN, private and backup server, user password and so on
SIP STUN is the function that realizes NAT support for SIP, IP phone is a SIP STUN client, so
need to configure the STUN server IP and Port (default is 3478). After enable SIP Stun, we can
use common SIP server to realize the IP phone NAT function.

IP PBX, the phone status display must enable subscribe.
Configure auto Detect Server
Enable IP phone support register with authentication, so no need for the
device to reply the server and the server can reply register confirm info.

3.4.7 Digital Map
Dial rule configure-----The system supports the dialing method:
◆End the number with the key”＃”：user dial the number and add “#” to end it.
◆End the number in the fixed length：the system intercepts the number length which the user
input according to the fixed length.
◆End the number when it beyond the time：the system will send all the number after beyond
time.
Configuration Explanation:
configure phone to end the number with ＃
configure ipphone to end the number in the fixed length; For
example: set to 8, after the user dials out 8 figures, the ipphone sent the 8 numbers automatically
and call out;
configure the time out，unit is second. The default of phone is 5

seconds, just after 5 seconds when receive a call, the user doesn’t dial the numbers, the phone will
think the user has dial out the numbers. The received number will be sending out as the called
number;
Dial rule configure explanation:
[] is the digital range, It can be a range, a list of digital and can be divided by comma. X can be
any digital matched.
Tn means the dial will ending in “N” second. N is forcible range from 0 second to 9 second. Tn
must be configured in the end. If you don’t configure Tn, the system default is T0, that is to say
once you finish dial, the call will try to connect.
Configure example:
[1-8]xxx means the dial number from 1000 to 8999 will connect once the four digital is
dialed.
[0-3,6-9]xxx means the number begin with 0-3 or 6-9 and plus any other three numbers (e.g.:
0123,9123) will connect once dialed
[0-2][6-8]xx means the number begin with 0-2, followed by 6-8 and plus any other two
number(e.g. 1625, 2799) will connect once dial.
9xxxxxxx means the number begin with 9 will connect once 8 numbers all dialed.
911 means the number 911, once you dial will connect.
99T4 means the number 99 will connect in 4 second after you dial them.
8[0-1,3-9]xx means the number begin with 8 followed by 0-1, 3-9 and plus any other number
will connect once dial.
82xxx means the number begin with 82 and plus three random number will connect once
dial. The configuration made the five digital number begin with 82 will connect once dial
3.4.8 Call Service
Value- Added Service Configuration ----- On this page, user can set value-added services such
as hot-line, call forwarding, call transfer (CT), call-waiting service, three way call, blacklist,
out-limit list and so on.

Configure hot-line number. If configure the hot-line number, this
hotline number will be dialed automatically while off-hook, and user can't dial any other number.
Call forward（single option, default off）
Off: switch off the forward function.
Busy: The calls to this phone will be forwarded when the phone is busy.
No answer: The calls to this phone will be forwarded to appointed phone when the phone has no
answer.
Always: The calls to this phone always be forwarded to the appointed phone.
Configure the waiting time for no answer (seconds).
choose this item, the ipphone cannot receive any incoming call
ban call out.
Can receive incoming error number, but calling ip is the IP address for local IP
phone.
Enable Call Transfer: Configure enable/disable unattended transfer and attend transfer.
Enable Three Way Call: Configure enable/disable 3-way call. In the process of 3-way call, A and
B are in talking, one of them wants to call the third party, the operation is: A(or B) presses the
key” hold’and key “*”, then dial the C number and press # key, when talking with C and press the
key ”hold” again, switch to the talk between A and B, then the three way call is successful. Once
the initiators puts down the phone, the other two parties cannot go on the call. After configuration,
click apply and go into effect.
Enable call waiting: Configure enable/disable call waiting service. After it is enabled, user can
hold calls of the other party , press the key “hold” again, the holder party can be restored; if
needs to the three way calling or call forward , should select this one.
Enable this function will auto answer the incoming call, the time can set in No
Answer Time.
Select this item，use the function of voice message.

Select this item，use the definition of voice hint.
can play the voice message, always use with the “Enable Voice Record”
together.
Black List: Configure add/delete blacklist. If user doesn’t want to answer a certain number, please
add this number to the list, and then this number will be unable to get through the phone.
Limit List: Configure out-limit list. When the caller number belongs to this table list, the call will
be cancelled.
3.4.9 MMI Filter
MMI: Interface of user and phone. User can set that only allowed IP address to visit the phone,
and configure and manage the phone by MMI.
Configuration Explanation:
Configure enable/disable MMI filter；click the button” apply” and go into
effect.
