I. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Xtech XTS-610 speaker with wireless technology.
We encourage you to read this quick installation guide thoroughly to get the
most of this innovative wireless portable audio device.

1. Built-in microphone: Use it for hands-free calling and conferencing.
2. Status LED:
• In Bluetooth®mode, the LED blinks to indicate that the device has entered into
the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.
• The LED glows solid blue to indicate that the device is successfully paired.
• The status LED blinks slowly while streaming music in Bluetooth® and auxiliary
modes.
3. Mode button:
Press and hold this button to cycle through the available input modes.
4. Previous track/Volume-: Press and hold to decrease the volume level. Briefly
press this button to play the previous track.
5. Next track/Volume+: Press and hold to increase the volume level (when the
maximum level is reached, the speaker will generate a short beep). Briefly
press this button to play the next track.
6. Play and pause/Handset button
In hands-free mode: touch this button to answer and
end a call.
Press and hold if you wish to reject an incoming call.
Press twice to dial the last number called (on supported devices).
In playback mode: press this button to pause your music, or to resume
listening when a call has ended.
In auxiliary mode: it will mute the audio when the pause button is pressed.
7. Aux input jack: Allows the connection of any device equipped with an
auxiliary 3.5mm audio connector (for wired playback). The up and down
volume commands in this mode are enabled.
8. Micro-USB charging port: Charges the built-in battery of the speaker.
9. Power switch: Slide this switch to turn the unit on and off, and to save
battery when not in use.
IV. Basic operation
• Use the supplied USB cable to charge your portable speaker directly from your
computer, laptop or AC adapter.
• Make sure that your portable speaker is fully charged before using it for the
first time.
• The battery has to be initially charged for at least 3 hours. Thereafter, it will
take from 2 to 3 hours to recharge.
• While charging, the LED is solid red. When the battery has reached full
capacity, the red LED goes off.

V. Advanced operation
Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device is
Bluetooth®compatible.
Pairing the speaker with your phone
1) Make sure the speaker is off.
2) Set your Bluetooth®phone to “discover” the wireless speaker.
3) Place both devices not more than one meter away from each other.
4) Power on the speaker by sliding the switch to its On position. The blue LED
starts blinking accompanied by a short tone, to indicate that the device has
entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.
5) On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device (XTS-610)
displayed in the Bluetooth®list.
6) When the speaker asks if you want to pair with it, click Yes or OK to accept.
7) If you have a lower Bluetooth® version, you may be prompted to enter the
passkey 0000 (4 zeros)
8) If pairing is successful, a tone will be heard and the LED will turn solid blue.
If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 7
described above.
9) We recommend turning off the device when not in use, to conserve
battery power.
Precautions
• Do NOT drop, hit or shake the device.
• Do NOT disassemble, repair or modify the speaker yourself.
• Do NOT use cleaning products that contain benzene, solvents or alcohol.
• Do NOT expose the speaker to excessive heat or to direct sunlight for long
periods of time.
• Do NOT place heavy objects on top of the speaker.
• Do NOT use near a microwave oven or wireless LAN products.

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

I. Introducción
Gracias por preferir el parlante XTS-610 de Xtech con tecnología
inalámbrica. Le recomendamos leer detenidamente la guía
de instalación rápida, con el objeto de aprovechar al máximo todas las
ventajas de este innovador dispositivo de audio inalámbrico portátil.

II. Características principales
• Parlante portátil con tecnología Bluetooth® y micrófono incorporado, para
conversaciones con manos libres

1. Micrófono integrado: Sirve para conferencias y hacer llamadas telefónicas
con manos libres.
2. Indicador LED de estado:
• En el modo Bluetooth®, el LED parpadea para indicar que el dispositivo ha
pasado al modo de emparejamiento y que es detectable por primera vez.
• El LED se ilumina de color azul fijo para indicar que el dispositivo ha
establecido la conexión inalámbrica en
forma exitosa.
• La luz LED indicadora de estado parpadea lentamente durante la reproduc
ción de música a través de la conexión Bluetooth® o modo auxiliar.
3. Botón de modo:
Mantenga oprimido este botón para alternar entre los diferentes modos de
entrada disponibles.
4. Pista anterior/Volumen-: Manténgalo oprimido para disminuir el audio del
parlante. Oprima brevemente este botón para reproducir la pista anterior.
5. Próxima pista/Volumen+: Manténgalo oprimido para aumentar el audio (al
llegar a su máxima regulación, el parlante emite un tono). Oprima este botón
para reproducir la próxima pista.
6. Botón de reproducción y pausa /Auricular:
En el modo de manos libres: pulse este botón para contestar y finalizar
una llamada.
Manténgalo oprimido si desea rechazar una llamada entrante.
Oprima este botón dos veces para marcar el último número discado (en
dispositivos compatibles).
7. Conjuntor de entrada auxiliar: Permite la conexión de cualquier dispositivo
equipado con una entrada auxiliar de 3,5 mm (para reproducción de música
con cable). En este modo están habilitados los comandos para aumentar o
disminuir el volumen.
8. Puerto micro-USB para carga: Carga la batería integrada del parlante.
9. Interruptor de conexión: Úselo para encender y apagar la unidad, y también
para conservar la batería cuando el parlante no se utiliza.
IV. Funcionamiento básico
• Utilice el cable USB que se suministra con el equipo para cargar la batería del
parlante portátil directamente de la computadora, laptop o adaptador de CA.
• Debe cargar completamente el parlante portátil antes de utilizarlo por
primera vez.
• Inicialmente, se debe suministrar energía durante un lapso de
3 horas a la batería del dispositivo. A contar de entonces, el proceso de
recarga de la batería tomará de 2 a 3 horas.
• Mientras se carga, la luz del indicador LED se ilumina de color rojo. Una vez
que la batería ha alcanzado el nivel de carga plena, se extingue por completo
el indicador LED rojo.

V. Funcionamiento avanzado
Nota: Antes de instalar el producto, debe cerciorarse de que su dispositivoes
compatible con Bluetooth®.
Cómo emparejar el parlante con el teléfono móvil
1) Asegúrese de que el parlante esté apagado.
2) Programe la función Bluetooth® del teléfono para que pueda “descubrir” el
parlante inalámbrico.
3) Ubique ambos dispositivos a no más de un metro de distancia entre sí.
4) Deslice el interruptor a la posición de Encendido para conectar el parlante. La
luz LED azul comienza a parpadear acompañada de un tono audible para
indicar que el dispositivo ha pasado al modo de emparejamiento y que es
detectable por primera vez.
5) En su teléfono móvil, seleccione el nuevo dispositivo de audio detectado
(XTS-610) que aparece desplegado en la lista Bluetooth®.
6) Cuando el teléfono le pregunte si desea integrarlo al sistema, haga clic en Sí u
OK para aceptar.
7) En caso de contar con una versión Bluetooth® inferior, es posible que se le
pida ingresar la clave 0000 (4 ceros).
8) Cuando el proceso de emparejamiento concluye satisfactoriamente, se
escuchará un tono haciendo que el LED de color azul comience a parpadear
lentamente. Si después de un intervalo de 60 segundos no logra emparejar el
dispositivo, repita los pasos del 1 al 7 del procedimiento anterior.
9) Le recomendamos apagar el dispositivo cuando no lo utilice para conservar la
energía de la batería.
Precauciones
• Jamás deje caer, sacuda ni golpee el dispositivo.
• Jamás desarme, repare ni modifique el parlante usted mismo.
• Jamás utilice productos de limpieza que contengan bencina, solventes
ni alcohol.
• Jamás exponga el parlante al calor excesivo ni a los rayos
directos del sol por períodos de tiempo prolongados.
• Jamás coloque objetos pesados sobre el parlante.
• Jamás utilice el dispositivo cerca de un horno microondas ni productos
inalámbricos para redes LAN.

• Vuelva a orientar o cambie la ubicación de la antena receptora.
• Aumente la distancia que separa al equipo del aparato receptor.
• Conecte el equipo a un tomacorriente situado en un circuito distinto al cual
está enlazado el receptor.
• Solicite asistencia al distribuidor o a un técnico experimentado en radio o
aparatos de TV.
