I. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the XTS-614 portable speaker with Bluetooth®

wireless technology from Xtech. We encourage you to read this quick

installation guide thoroughly to get the most of this innovative wireless

portable audio device.

IV. Basic operation

• Use the supplied Micro USB cable to charge your portable speaker

directly from your computer, laptop or AC adapter.

• Make sure that your portable speaker is fully charged before using it for

the first time. Check that the LED light turns ON while the speaker is

charging. It will turn off when the speaker is fully charged and ready to use.

• The battery has to be initially charged for at least 3 hours. Thereafter, it will

take from 2 to 3 hours to recharge.

V. Advanced operation

Note: Before starting, please make sure your device has the built-in

Bluetooth®feature available.

1. Volume -/Previous track: Press this button briefly to decrease the

volume level. Press and hold this button to play the previous track.

2. Power (Play-Pause/Mode/Handset) button: Press and hold this button

to turn the speaker On/OFF. Double-press this button to cycle through the

available input modes. Press it briefly to play or pause audio or to resume

listening when a call has ended.

Hands-free mode:

• Press this button once to answer and end a call.

• Press and hold for about 1.8 seconds if you wish to reject an

incoming call.

• Press twice to dial the last number called (on supported devices).

3. Volume +/Next track: Press this button briefly to increase the volume

level. Press and hold this button to play the next track.

4. Micro USB charging port: Charges the built-in battery of the speaker

5. Aux input jack: Allows the connection of any device equipped with an

auxiliary 3.5mm audio connector (for wired playback). No other mode will

work, if a 3.5mm cable is plugged in.

6. Built-in microphone: For hands-free calling and conferencing.

Note: In order to use the microphone the ruber cover has to be open;

otherwise, the microphone will not work.

7. Status LED (located under the rubber cover):

• In Bluetooth® mode, the LED blinks in blue to indicate that the device has

entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the first time.

• The LED glows solid blue to indicate that the device is successfully

paired, or when the audio is paused.

• The status LED blinks slowly in blue while streaming music in BT and

auxiliary modes.

• The LED turns red when the battery is charging. The red LED will turn off

when the battery is fully charged.

8. Micro SDTM (TF) memory card: Allows music playback from compatible

media files stored in a MicroSDTM (TF) memory card with a maximum

storage capacity of 32G.

Pairing the speaker with your phone

1. Make sure the speaker is off.

2. Set your Bluetooth®phone to “discover” the wireless speaker.

3. Place both devices not more than one meter away from each other.

4. Press and hold the Power button to turn ON the speaker. The blue LED

starts blinking, accompanied by a short tone, to indicate that the device

has entered into the pairing mode and is ready to be detectable for the

first time.

5. On your mobile phone, tap the newly discovered audio device (XTS-614)

displayed in the Bluetooth®list.

6. When the speaker asks if you want to pair with it, click Yes or OK to

accept.

7. If you have a lower Bluetooth® version, you may be prompted to enter

the passkey 0000 (4 zeros).

8. If pairing is successful, a tone will be heard and the LED will turn solid

blue. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1

through 7 described above.

9. We recommend turning off the device when not in use, to conserve

battery power.

VI. Using the speaker with Bluetooth®technology

Answering and ending a call using your mobile device

• When there is an incoming call, the speaker will generate a tone to alert

you of this event.

• Briefly press the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button to pick up. You

may also press the answer button on your cellular phone to take the call

using the speaker.

• To end a call, tap the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button once

again. Likewise, you may also end the call directly using the command on

your cell phone.

• When listening to music using your mobile phone, playback will resume

automatically once the call has ended.

• By pressing the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button twice, the

phone will redial the last number called (on supported devices).

• Press and hold the Power/Play/Pause/Handset button for about 1.8

seconds if you wish to reject an incoming call.

Note: If you press it too long the speaker will turn off.

VII. Music playback in Auxiliary mode

a. First, connect one side of the supplied 3.5mm cable to the auxiliary port

on the speaker and the other side of the cable to the source of choice.

b. The unit will automatically connect to the AUX mode.

c. Start playing audio files directly from the source of choice.

Press the Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button, to play or pause the audio.

d. The speaker will remain in this mode until the

Power/Play-Pause/Mode/Handset button is pressed to change to the

mode of choice or disconnect the 3.5mm cable.

Pairing two portable speakers with TWS technology

1. Make sure both speakers are in BT mode (follow steps above to allow

this function).

2. Press the Power button twice on one of the speakers to enter TWS mode.

3. A tone will be heard on both speakers once it enters pairing mode.

4. Once the devices are connected , the BT light in the main unit will stop

blinking, and in the second unit it will remain blinking, until it connects to

a mobile device via BT.

5. Connect the speaker to a mobile device via BT, once connected, play a

song to verify that both units play the same audio file.

Note: If the speaker is in TWS mode when is turned off, it will still be in

TWS mode when it is turned on again.

**Range estimate is based on an area free and clear of obstacles and interference, and within the

line-of-sight between both Bluetooth®V5.0 devices.

Precautions

• Do NOT drop, hit or shake the device.

• Do NOT disassemble, repair or modify the speaker yourself.

• Do NOT use cleaning products that contain benzene, solvents or alcohol.

• Do NOT expose the speaker to excessive heat or to direct sunlight for long

periods of time.

I. Introducción

II. Características principales

IV. Funcionamiento básico

• Utilice el cable Micro USB que se suministra con el equipo para cargar la

batería del parlante portátil directamente de la computadora, laptop o

adaptador de CA.

• Debe cargar completamente el parlante portátil antes de utilizarlo por

primera vez. Asegúrese de que la luz LED se encienda mientras el

parlante esté recibiendo carga. La luz LED se apagará cuando el nivel de

carga esté completo.

• Inicialmente, se debe suministrar energía durante un lapso de 3 horas a la

batería del dispositivo. A contar de entonces, el proceso de recarga de la

batería tomará de 2 a 3 horas.

1. Volumen -/Pista anterior: Presione brevemente este botón para

disminuir la intensidad del volumen. Manténgalo presionado para

seleccionar la Pista anterior

2. Botón de Conexión (Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular): Mantenga

presionado este botón para encender y apagar el parlante. Presione dos

veces este botón para alternar entre los distintos modos de entrada

disponibles. Presione brevemente este botón para reproducir y detener el

audio, o para reiniciar el audio luego de finalizar una llamada.

Modo de manos libres:

• Pulse este botón para contestar y finalizar una llamada.

• Manténgalo presionado por aproximadamente 1,8 segundos

para rechazar una llamada entrante.

• Presiónelo dos veces para volver a marcar el último número

discado (en dispositivos compatibles).

3. Volumen + /Próxima pista: Presione brevemente este botón para

aumentar la intensidad del volumen. Mantenga presionado el botón para

seleccionar la próxima pista.

4. Puerto micro USB para carga: Úselo para cargar la batería integrada del

parlante.

5. Puerto de entrada auxiliar: Permite la conexión de cualquier dispositivo

equipado con un conjuntor de audio auxiliar de 3,5mm (para

reproducción con cable). Para que el parlante funcione en otro modo solo

desconecte el cable de 3,5mm.

6. Micrófono integrado: Sirve para conferencias y conversaciones con

manos libres.

Nota: Para usar el micrófono mantenga abierta la cubierta de goma; de lo

contrario, el micrófono no funcionará.

7. Indicador LED de estado (ubicado debajo de la cubierta de goma):

• En el modo Bluetooth®, la luz LED parpadea en color azul para indicar

que el dispositivo ha pasado al modo de emparejamiento y que es

detectable por primera vez.

• El LED se ilumina de color azul fijo para indicar que el dispositivo ha

logrado emparejarse, o cuando el parlante está en modo de pausa.

• La luz LED de estado parpadea lentamente en azul durante la reproducción

de música a través de la función Bluetooth® o el modo auxiliar.

• La luz LED se ilumina de color rojo cuando la batería está recibiendo

carga. La luz LED roja se apagará cuando la batería haya alcanzado el

nivel de carga plena.

8. Tarjeta de memoria MicroSDTM (TF): Permite la reproducción de música

de archivos de audio compatibles almacenados en una tarjeta de memoria

MicroSDTM (TF) con una capacidad máxima de almacenamiento de 32G.

V. Funcionamiento avanzado

Nota: Antes de comenzar debe cerciorarse de que su dispositivo tenga

incorporada la función Bluetooth®.

Cómo emparejar el parlante con el teléfono móvil

1. Asegúrese de que el parlante esté apagado.

2. Habilite la función Bluetooth® en el teléfono para “detectar” el parlante

inalámbrico.

3. Ubique ambos dispositivos a no más de un metro de distancia entre sí.

4. Mantenga presionado el botón de Conexión para encender el parlante.

La luz LED azul comienza a parpadear, acompañada por un tono breve,

para indicar que el dispositivo ha iniciado el proceso de emparejamiento

y que es detectable por primera vez.

5. En su teléfono móvil, seleccione el nuevo dispositivo de audio detectado

(XTS-614) que aparece desplegado en la lista Bluetooth®.

6. Cuando el dispositivo le pregunte si desea integrarlo al sistema, haga

clic en Sí u OK para aceptar.

7. En caso de contar con una versión Bluetooth® inferior, es posible que se

le pida ingresar la clave = 0000 (4 ceros).

8. Cuando el proceso de emparejamiento concluye satisfactoriamente, el

LED de color azul comienza a parpadear lentamente. Si después de un

intervalo de 60 segundos no logra emparejar el dispositivo, repita los

pasos del 1 al 7del procedimiento anterior.

9. Le recomendamos apagar el dispositivo cuando no lo esté usando para

conservar la energía de la batería.

VI. Utilización del parlante con tecnología Bluetooth®

Contestar y finalizar una llamada desde su teléfono móvil

• Cada vez que recibe una llamada entrante, el parlante emitirá un tono

audible para alertarle sobre este evento.

• Presione el botón de Conexión/Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular

para contestar. También puede pulsar el botón de su teléfono celular para

recibir la comunicación a través del parlante.

• Para finalizar una llamada, pulse el botón de

Conexión/Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular una vez más. De la

misma manera, puede concluir la llamada directamente desde su celular.

• Cuando escuche música a través de su teléfono móvil, la reproducción de

audio se reinicia en forma automática una vez concluida la llamada.

• Presione el botón de Conexión/Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular dos

veces para volver a llamar al último número discado (en dispositivos compatibles).

• Mantenga presionado el botón de Conexión/Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular

durante aproximadamente 1,8 segundos para rechazar una llamada entrante.

Nota: Si lo mantiene presionado por más tiempo el parlante se apagará.

VII. Reproducción de música en el modo Auxiliar

a. Conecte un extremo del cable auxiliar de 3,5mm suministrado al puerto

auxiliar del parlante y el otro extremo del cable a la fuente de audio

seleccionada.

b. El parlante se conectará automáticamente en el modo Auxiliar.

c. Comience a reproducir archivos de audio directamente desde la fuente

de audio seleccionada. Presione el botón de

Conexión/Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular para reproducir o

detener el audio.

d. El parlante continuará en este modo hasta que presione el botón de

Conexión/Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular para cambiar al

modo deseado o hasta que desconecte el cable de 3,5mm.

Cómo emparejar dos parlantes portátiles con tecnología TWS

1. Asegúrese de que ambos parlantes se encuentren en el modo BT (siga

las indicaciones anteriores para activar esta función).

2. Presione el botón de Conexión/Reproducción-Pausa/Modo/Auricular

dos veces, en uno de los parlantes para activar el modo TWS.

3. Cuando entre en el modo de emparejamiento se escuchará un tono en

ambos parlantes.

4. Una vez que los dispositivos estén conectados, la luz de BT dejará de

parpadear en la unidad principal, mientras que en el otro parlante continuará

parpadeando, hasta que se conecte a un dispositivo móvil vía BT.

5. Conecte el parlante a un dispositivo móvil vía BT, cuando se haya

conectado, comience a reproducir música para comprobar que ambos

parlantes transmiten el mismo archivo de audio.

Nota: Si al momento de apagar el parlante se encuentra en el modo TWS,

éste permanecerá en este modo cuando la vuelva a encender.
