Supervision Enable/Disable Jumper
After installation, the DC will automatically transmit
Supervisory signals periodically to the Control Panel
at random intervals of less than 20 minutes. If the
Control Panel has not received the signal from the
DC for the preset period of time, the Control Panel
will indicate on its display that the particular DC is
experiencing an out-of-signal problem.
Jumper On= Supervision Disabled
Jumper O= Supervision Enabled (Default)

Programming
Step 1: Pull out the Door contact battery tab.
Step 2: Login to the engineer menu on the
control panel. Select “Zone Settings”→“Zone
Cong.” →“Add Zone”on the menu. Press OK
and the LCD of the Control Panel will display
“*Push button on* Device to add”.
Step 3: Press Door contact’s Learn button.
Step 4: If the Control Panel detects a signal
transmitted from the door contact, the Control
Panel will display “Detected (OK?) DC sensor”.
Press OK to conrm the learning.
Step 5: Refer to the operation manual (section
“Add Zone”) of your Control Panel to complete
the learn-in parameter setup.
Step 6: To nd the best installation location for
the door contact, you will need to make a“Walk
Test”. Press the“Return”button and go back to
the root selection. Select the “Testing”Menu,
then select the “Walk Test” option.
Step 7: Hold the door contact in the desired
location and press the test/learn button. The
RSSI signal strength value will be displayed
on the control panel, varying from 0 ~ 9
(with 9 indicates the best signal strength
performance). It is suitable for installation if the
RSSI value is 5 or greater. Device is now ready
for mounting.
Mounting
Mounting Methods
There are two ways to mount the DC, by either
self-adhesive tape or screw mounting.
Choosing location:
• Installationdirection:Makesureyoumount
the ENA-DC vertically or horizontally. Other
installation directions, except vertical or
horizontal direction, will turn the tilt switch ON
and trigger the Tamper.
Correct Incorrect
• Themagnetshouldnotbemorethan20mm
from the detector when the door is closed.
Magnet
•Alignthedoorcontacttobethesamelevel
as the magnet. See diagram. Use the supplied
magnet spacer to increase the height of the
magnet switch if necessary (only suitable for
screw mounting).
The magnet switch can be aligned to the left or
right of the Main DC unit. See rib marking on the
DC main unit for location guidance.
Self adhesive installation
Step 1: Do not use the adhesive pad method of
installation on a surface with peeling or cracked
paint, or on a rough surface. Clean the surface
with a suitable degreaser.
Step 2: Apply the adhesive pad to the back of the
Door contact and magnet.
Step 3: Please align the magnet to the rib
marking of the DC main unit. Attach both units
to desired location.
Step 4: Press and hold the Learn / Test button for
more than 8 seconds to enable tilt tamper.
Screw Mounting
The DC base cover has two knockouts, where the
plastic is thinner, for mounting purposes.
Step 1: Remove the door contact base cover.
Break through the two knockout holes for wall
mounting.
Step 2: Using the holes as a template (Door
contact base cover and magnet), drill holes on
the mounting surface.
Step 3: Insert wall plugs if necessary and x the
base cover and magnet on the mounting surface.
Step 4: Replace the door contact front cover.
Step 5: Press and hold the Learn / Test button for
more than 8 seconds to enable tilt tamper.

Tilt Switches
When the Door contact is tilted, a Tamper alarm
will be triggered. The Tilt Switch is disabled by
factory default. Opening the unit will also trigger
tamper alarm via the tamper spring
Enable Secure the door contact onto a wall or
bracket, so that the Tamper Switch is
pressed. Press & hold the Test button
for 8 sec. The LED will ash for 5 times,
indicating Tilt Switch enabled.
Disable Take out the battery and reinsert it to
disable the Tilt tamper mechanism. See
“Changing batteries” below.
Test Mode
Press Test button once to enter test mode. Under
test mode, the LED lights up whenever movement
is detected. The device will auto exit test mode
after 3 minutes.
Changing Batteries
The 1x 1/2 AA size lithium battery has a battery
life of approximately 2 and a half years (based
on 20 activations per day). When the low battery
condition is shown, the device should have
enough power to operate for one month.
Step 1: Login to the engineer menu on the
control panel.
Step 2: Dismount the DC and remove the
batteries. Press Test button for ten times.
Step 3: Insert new 1/2 AA lithium battery.
Step 4: Replace the cover and mount the sensor.
Step 5: Press & hold the test button for 8 sec to
enable the Tilt Switch.
Step 6: Exit the engineer menu and return to
standby on the control panel.
