NB. The KR20T/F is not suitable for installations where there are unsupervised
children under the age of 42 months.
1. Unpack the blind and remove the blind from back bar and brackets.
2. Check the position and height of the blind, ensuring it hangs correctly and
that nothing will prevent the blind from collapsing if it needed to.
3. Fit back the bar and brackets to the substrate in accordance with drawings
shown in above, ensuring the correct type and quantity of brackets are used
with suitable fixing screws/plugs as per figures on page 3. It is important
that the bracket is securely fixed to the substrate using TWO fixing screws

3. The spring must be on the right-hand side unless the fabric is reverse rolled.
4. The spring would have been tensioned during the manufacturing process
but the tension can be increased or decreased if required.
5. If the fabric does not wind up completely when the blind is operated, greater
spring tension can be applied as follows:
a) Bring the blind down 250mm from its uppermost position.
b) Remove the blind from the brackets and roll the fabric by hand back onto
the roller.
c) Replace the blind in the brackets.
d) If tension is still not enough, repeat steps a to c.
e) If tension is too much follow the above but in reverse i.e. remove the blind
from the brackets and unroll the fabric by hand of the roller. Ensure the
blind is not over tensioned as it will result in the bottom bar crashing into
the blind and potentially jamming.

6. If the blind is installed outside the recess then adjusting the tension can be
done without taking the blind out of its brackets if preferred. Use a flat head
screwdriver through the hole in the bracket to either increase or decrease
the tension as desired.
7. Once the blind is fitted and the bracket positioning has been confirmed by
testing, the push-in screw cover MUST be fitted ensuring that it is flush with
the bracket body. The push-in screw cover is intended to be a tight fit to
prevent unauthorized access to fixings.
