To get started, plug the power cord into the USB wall adapter and into a power outlet. When it’s first plugged in, both
charger lights will briefly turn green.
Charging Your Hearing Aid
1. Place Your Hearing Aids on the Charger
Lightly hold your hearing aids by the tube, and place them in the charging slot. Both domes should be facing the
same side of the charger as the power cable, as shown in the picture. When your hearing aids are correctly placed,
both lights will begin blinking green.
2. Wait 3-4 Hours
When the green lights are blinking, your hearing aids are charging. When the lights stop blinking and turn solid
green, your hearing aids are completely charged.
3. Remove, And Wear Your Hearing Aids
You can remove your hearing aids before they’re completely charged, but they won’t last as long as when they’re
fully charged. It’s best to leave your hearing aids in the charger anytime you’re not using them, they won’t
overcharge.
Please ensure to charge your hearing aids within the operating temperature range: 50-104°F (10-40°C).

This charger is intended to charge hearing instruments with
the ZPower Rechargeable System. Use only with ZPower
rechargeable batteries. This product does not have a power
switch. It is turned on once you plug in the power cord. The
USB Wall Adapter will conform to the requirement of your
region for voltage input and connection type.
NOTICE
• This charger is intended only for indoor use.
• Do not expose your device to extreme temperature or
high humidity.
• Do not leave it in direct sunlight.
• Do not immerse it in water.
• Do not place your device in a microwave oven.

The hearing care professional shall fit the rechargeable battery door module to appropriate model hearing aid.
Attempting to install a battery door on an incompatible hearing aid may result in breaking into small and/or sharp
pieces. Only install a battery door on compatible hearing aid models. For a list of compatible models, visit
www.zpowerhearing.com.
WARNING
• Choking hazard. Choking hazard posed by small parts. Keep hearing instruments, batteries and accessories out of
the reach of children and pets. If any part of the system is swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
• Tripping hazard. Keep long power cord out of walkway where it poses a tripping hazard.
• Magnetic field. Charger contains magnets and should be kept at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from pacemakers.
• Strangulation hazard. Contains a long power cord that may cause strangulation if used improperly.
• Risk of injury. Do not hold power cord and swing charger.
• Electric shock. Risk of electric shock through incompatible parts. Use the USB wall adapter provided with the charger.
• Fire and explosion hazard. Do not use in explosive or oxygen-enriched atmospheres.
• Ingestion hazard. If magnets are separated from charger, do not put in nose or mouth. Swallowed magnets can stick
to intestines causing serious injury or death. Seek immediate medical attention if magnets are swallowed or inhaled.
• Overheating hazard. Use of an improper USB wall adapter may cause the charger to overheat. Use only EN60950
certified equipment with an output of 5 VDC, minimum 500 mA, such as the USB wall adapter provided with the charger.
• Use the USB port of the charger for the described purpose only.
• Do not insert the wall adapter alone into electrical outlets. This could result in electric shock.
• Use only the equipment described in these instructions to charge your system. Using other equipment may result in
damage to your system.
• Do not drop any part of the rechargeable system onto a hard surface, this may damage your system and could result
in breaking into small and/or sharp pieces.

Proper use will help to extend the life of your battery.
Battery Tips
• Charge the batteries regularly before wearing them.
• Charge the batteries at temperatures between 50°F (10°C) and 104°F (40°C).
• Don’t place the batteries in the charger if the charger is unplugged, this will drain the batteries.
• If you don’t intend to use your hearing aids for several days, remove the batteries.
• Your battery should last for approximately one year, and can be easily replaced by your hearing professional at that time.

Cleaning
• Clean as needed.
• Use a dry, soft tissue to remove any debris.
• The soft brush that is included with hearing aids may be used to clean the contacts on the charger.
• Do not sterilize or disinfect the charger.
• Do not clean with rubbing alcohol, solvents or any other liquid.
Your hearing aid and/or battery door may be damaged by hairspray or cosmetics. It is recommended to remove your
hearing aids from your ear before applying these products.
Always make sure that the hearing aids and charger are dry and clean before charging.

Per iniziare, collegare il cavo di alimentazione elettrica all’adattatore a parete USB e a una presa elettrica. Al primo
collegamento, entrambe le spie del caricatore diventeranno verdi per alcuni istanti.
Caricare l’apparecchio acustico
1. Posizionare l’apparecchio acustico sul caricatore
Tenere delicatamente gli apparecchi acustici dal tubicino e posizionarli sul vano di caricamento. Entrambe le cupole
devono essere rivolte verso la parte del caricatore a cui è collegato il cavo di alimentazione, come mostrato in figura.
Dopo aver posizionato correttamente gli apparecchi acustici, entrambe le spie cominceranno a illuminarsi di colore
verde lampeggiante.
2. Attendere 3-4 ore
Le spie verdi lampeggianti indicano che gli apparecchi acustici sono in carica. Quando le spie smettono di lampeggiare,
emettendo una luce verde fissa, significa che gli apparecchi acustici sono completamente carichi.
3. Rimuovere e indossare gli apparecchi acustici
È possibile rimuovere gli apparecchi acustici prima del completo caricamento, ma questo ne ridurrà l’autonomia. La
migliore opzione è tenere gli apparecchi acustici nel caricatore ogni volta che restano inutilizzati, in quanto non esiste
rischio di sovraccarico.
Assicurarsi di ricaricare gli apparecchi acustici all’interno dell’intervallo di temperature operative: 50-104°F (10-40°C).

2Istruzioni importanti
Il caricatore è progettato per il caricamento di dispositivi per l’udito, utilizzando il sistema di ricarica ZPower. Utilizzare
esclusivamente con batterie ricaricabili ZPower. Il prodotto non è dotato di interruttore: si accende al collegamento del cavo
di alimentazione. L’adattatore USB da parete sarà in conformità con i requisiti della tua regione per il voltaggio e il tipo di
connessione in ingresso.
AVVERTENZE
• Il caricatore va usato solo in ambiente chiuso.
• Non esporre il dispositivo a temperature estreme o umidità elevata.

• Non inserire in forno a microonde.
Il professionista dell’udito monterà il vano della batteria ricaricabile al modello di apparecchio acustico adeguato. Il

ATTENZIONE

ATTENZIONE
• Campo magnetico. Il caricatore contiene magneti e deve essere tenuto ad almeno 6 pollici (15 cm) dai pacemaker.

i magneti possono attaccarsi alle pareti intestinali, causando lesioni gravi o morte. In caso d’ingestione o inalazione
dei magneti, rivolgersi immediatamente a un medico.
• Rischio di surriscaldamento. L’utilizzo improprio di un adattatore USB a parete può causare il surriscaldamento del
caricabatterie. Utilizzare solo attrezzature certificate EN60950 con una potenza di 5 VDC, 500 mA minimo come, ad
esempio, l’adattatore a parete USB fornito con il caricabatterie.
• Utilizzare la porta USB del caricabatterie solo per lo scopo descritto.
• Non inserire l’adattatore a muro da solo in prese elettriche. Ciò potrebbe provocare scosse elettriche.

Un uso appropriato contribuirà a far durare la batteria più a lungo.
Suggerimenti relativi alla batteria
• Caricare regolarmente le batterie prima di indossare il dispositivo.
• Caricare le batterie a temperature comprese fra i 50 °F (10 °C) e i 104 °F (40 °C).
• Non inserire le batterie nel caricatore se quest’ultimo non è collegato, o le batterie si scaricheranno.
• Se si prevede di non usare gli apparecchi acustici per parecchi giorni, rimuovere le batterie.
• Una batteria dovrebbe durare circa un anno ed è facilmente sostituibile, in qualunque momento, dal professionista
dell’udito di fiducia dell’utente.
Pulizia
• Pulire a dovere.
• Utilizzare un panno asciutto e morbido per rimuovere eventuali detriti.
• La spazzola morbida fornita con gli ausili per l’udito può essere usata per pulire i contatti del caricatore.
• Non sterilizzare o disinfettare il caricatore.
• Non pulire strofinando con alcol, solventi o altri liquidi.
L’apparecchio acustico e/o lo sportello del vano batteria possono essere danneggiati dalla lacca o dai cosmetici. Si
consiglia di rimuovere gli apparecchi acustici dall’orecchio prima di applicare questi prodotti.
Assicurarsi sempre che gli apparecchi acustici e il caricatore siano asciutti e puliti prima di avviare la ricarica.
