The 8009 gives you simple one-touch access to a variety
of convenient communication features. Use the six
programmable memory keys to store frequently used
numbers — customers, suppliers, family members, and
others. Or, you can store the code for features like Call
Forwarding or Call Return.
Customize your phone by programming the combination of
features and numbers that best fits your needs. Either
way, you’ll reach the service or person you need with a
single keystroke.
An indicator light makes the 8009 especially easy to use.
If you have Voice Mail services from your telephone
company, the indicator light lets you know when messages
are waiting*. The same indicator flashes to remind you
when a call is on hold or when you phone is ringing —
something you’ll appreciate in a hectic or noisy office.
Worried about accidentally disconnecting an important
customer when transferring a call or activating a special
feature? Just use the LINK key on the 8009 and you won’t
make a mistake. You can use the Hold key to place a caller
on hold, and pick up from any extension. And, if you’re
tired of repeatedly trying to reach a busy number, make
your life easier by using the Redial key.
