Us your turntabl and motor controll r (unit) only in clos d,
dry rooms.
T mp ratur rang in us should b within 10 – 40° C. Do

Mak sur that no wat r or humidity is clos to th unit.
Prot ct it against p n tration of liquids and solid obj cts.
Put your unit on an v n and stabl surfac .
Mak sur that th bas can carry at l ast 40kg / 88lbs.

Preparation
To avoid transport damag s th MONTANA Neo

600x600mm² / 24x24 squar inch for s tup.
First, tak th Chassis and plac it on th d sig-
nat d op rating plac .
B for starting th s tup, r mov th 2 plastic
scr ws (with nut) from th motor cov r. You can
do this using your hand, no wr nch n d d.
Levelling
Aft r placing th chassis you can now l v l th
turntabl by turning th 3 f t in th chassis.

im Chassis mit Hilf in r g ign t n Wass r-
waag (z. B. Acoustic-Signatur s Dopp l-
Wass rwaag , si h Bild unt n) ausricht n.

Mounting the platter

Mounting a tonearm
Now you can start to mount th ton arm and
cartridg according to th s tup manual of th
ton arm manufactur r.
Your MONTANA Neo can carry up to 2 ton -
arms, on in ach backsid corn r of th chas-
sis. Th adjustm nt rang of th armbas allows
mounting distanc s b tw n 222 mm and 307
mm (with customiz d armboards v n mor ).
B for mounting a ton arm, you n d to mount
th appropriat armboard (if not suppli d al-
r ady mount d).
W provid armboards for a wid rang of ton -

To dismount th armboard simply loos n th s t

Operating the MONTANA Neo
Operation
Switch on th digital motor control DMC-20 on
its backsid (main switch).
Pr ss th pow r switch on th DMC-20.
Start rotation of turntabl by pushing th start
button (mark d with On/Off).
Th MONTANA Neo is quipp d with a r sum
function, so th last chos n sp d is activ wh n
turning on.
Chang sp d by pr ssing th sp d button
(mark d with 33/45).
Whil th MONTANA Neo sp ds up or down,
th targ t sp d LED is blinking. Wh n th blink-
ing stops your MONTANA Neo is lock d into th
s l ct d sp d.
Cleaning
Cl an th surfac s of your turntabl and DMC
only with a dry cotton or microfib r cloth (or
slightly damp, only if n c ssary). Do not us any
cl aning d t rg nts.
