Operating Modes:
The Mega Tri 60 has six operating modes:
• Sound Active mode - The unit will react to sound, chasing through the
built in programs.
• Static Color Mode - There are 7 colors to choose from.
• Program Mode - Choose from 1 of 22 built-in programs.
• Auto Mode - The unit will auotmatically cycle through all the programs.
• RGB Mode - Choose one of the three colors to remain static or
adjust the intensity of each color to make your desired color.
• DMX control mode - This function will allow you to control each
individual fixtures traits with a standard DMX 512 controller such as
as the American DJ® Show Designer™.
Sound Active Mode:
In this mode the Mega Tri 60 will react to sound, and chase through the
different colors.
1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until “SU.XX” is dis-
played. “XX” represents the sound sensitivity level (0-31) currently
displayed, 0 being no sound sensitivity, and 31 being the highest
sensitivity. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the sound sen-
sitivity.
2. The fixture will now change via sound.
3. To activate flash (strobe) press the SET UP button so that “FS.XX” is
displayed. “XX” is the current flash rate that is displayed (00-99),
“FS.00” (flash off) to “FS.99” (fastest flash). Use the UP or DOWN
buttons to adjust the flash rate.
Static Color Mode:
1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until “CO-X” is dis-
played.
2. There are 7 colors to choose from. Select your desired color by
pressing the UP and DOWN buttons. After you have selected your
desired color you can activate strobing by pressing the SET UP but-
ton to enter the Flash (strobe) mode.
3. “FS.XX” will be displayed, this is Flash mode. The Flash can be
adjusted between “FS.00” (flash off) to “FS.99” (fastest flash).
Program Mode:
1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until “Pr.XX” is dis-
played.
2. There are 22 programs to choose from. Select your desired program
by pressing the UP and DOWN buttons. After you have selected
your desired program you can adjust the program speed by pressing
the SET UP button so that “SP.XX” is displayed. “XX” represents a
number between 01-99, 01 being the slowest speed, 99 being the
fastest. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the program speed.
3. Press the SET UP button again, and “Fd.XX” will be displayed, this is
fade speed adjustment. “XX” represents a number between 00-99,
00 is off, 01 the fastest speed, and 99 the slowest speed. Use the UP
or DOWN buttons to adjust the fade speed.
4. Press the SET UP button again, and “FS.XX” will be displayed, this is
the flash (strobe) function. “XX” represents a number between 00-99,
“FS.00” (flash off) to “FS.99” (fastest flash). Use the UP or DOWN
buttons to adjust the flash speed.
NOTE: When eiither programs 21 and 22 are being used, there is an
color option after the flash function. When SET UP is pressed after the
flash function, “1.XXX” will be displayed. This is the setting for the base
color in these programs. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to change and
find your desired base color. After setting the base color press the SET
UP button again, and “2.XXX” will be displayed. This is the setting for the
moving color. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to change and find your
desired moving color.
Auto Run Mode:
In Auto Run mode, color fade can be activated and the fade speed
adjusted. You can also activate strobing and adjust the strobe rate.
1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until either “AUTO” is
displayed.
2. When “AUTO” is displayed press the SET UP button to adjust the
fade speed, flash (strobe) speed, and program cycles.
• Fd.XX = This is fade speed adjustment, Use the UP or DOWN but-
tons to adjust the speed between “Fd.01” (fastest) and “Fd.01”
(slowest). When “Fd.00” is displayed, the fade is off.
• FS.XX = This is flash (strobe) adjustment, Use the UP or DOWN but-
tons to adjust the speed between “FS.00” (flash off) to “FS.99” (fast-
est flash).
• n.XXX = This setting allows you to set the number of times you would
like each of the programs to cycle before moving on to the next pro-
gram.
Example: “n.002” means that the color change program will cycle twice,
