Calibrating X axis
The laser must be calibrated to bring the beam to the center of the two X
(-X +X) marks. Calibration is electronic, using the keys on the keypad or in
using a remote control.
1) If your LT300 is working, press on the On/Off switch.
2) Rotate the laser to axe the X marks made on previous steps of “Checking X axis”.
3) While keeping “Auto/Man” (2) pressed, turn on the laser (5).
4) Key pad’s LED are blinking successively. When the LED (9) is staying on, release
“Auto/Man” (2). This LED indicates that your laser is ready to be calibrated.
- Speed blinking: it’s in self-levelling
- Low blinking: it’s levelled
5) If you have not moved the laser, with the remote control (recommended),
you will now be able to calibrate X axis. Press “+” button twice (11 on MR80,
2 on LT25, or 4 on LT300 key board). The two LED (8 and 9) are blinking.
6) Use the right and left arrows (2 and 3 on MR80, 4 and 5 on LT25, 6 and 7
on LT300) to move the beam on X axis direction. Then press again “+” button
(11 on MR80, 2 on LT25, or 4 on LT300 key board) to come back to X calibra-
tion mode. (9) LED is blinking.
7) Press right and left arrows (2 and 3 on MR80, 4 and 5 on LT25, 6 and 7 on
LT300) to bring the laser beam to the center of the –X+X marks.
8) If the Y axis doesn’t have to be calibrated, press “-“ button (10 on MR80, 1 on
TL25, 5 on LT300) to save the calibration you’ve just made on X axis. If you are
not sure of the calibration made, only press on On/Off key to turn the laser off.
Checking Y axis
1) Rotate the laser 90 degrees so that -Y is facing the wall (this is the side of the
laser with the keypad).
2) Mark the location of the center of the beam.
3) Rotate the laser 180 degrees so that +Y faces the wall.

4) When the beam is levelled, mark the location of the beam center near the
first mark.
5) This has to be within the stated accuracy of ± 3/16” at 100 ft. (± 0.01%).
6) If the marks are close enough, Y axis is within calibration.
Proceed to “Final X to Y Check.”
If the marks are not close enough, Y axis needs to be calibrated.
Calibrating Y axis
The laser must be calibrated to bring the beam to the center of the two Y
marks. Calibration is electronic, using the keys on the laser keypad or on the

2) Rotate the laser to axe the Y marks made on previous steps of “Checking Y axis”.
3) While keeping “Auto/Man” (2) pressed, turn on the laser (5).

calibration mode. (8) LED is blinking.

on LT300) to bring the laser beam to the center of the –Y+Y marks.
8) Press “-“ button (10 on MR80, 1 on TL25, 5 on LT300) to save the calibra-
