Important Notice
Charge the Player
Connect to the PC & Download Audio Files
Thank you for purchasing AGPTEK Music Player. For the best using experience, please read this
user manual carefully before use and keep it for further reference.
• Charge by computer USB port.
• Use a charger of 5V/500mA or 5V/1A (Charger not included).
1. Open the Windows Explorer or “This PC".
2. Connect the player to your PC's USB port using the provided USB cable.
3. Open the new “AGP-U5PL" folder under “This PC".
4. Copy files to the “AGP-U5PL" in which you want them to play.
5. In the right sidebar, right-click the “AGP-U5PL " folder and select “Eject" from the menu.
6. Wait until the computer confirms a safe ejection before you unplug the USB cable.
7. Note: Please do not disconnect the USB plug during file transferring. It may cause malfunction
of the player and the files.

Buttons and Controls
Essential Functions
1. Power On/Off: Long press the button to turn on/off the player.
2. Screen Display: Short press the button or long press the button to activate the screen.
3. Browse Item: On the home menu or list menu, press the button / to browse the item,
press the button to enter.
4. Back: On any screen, short press the button to go back.
5. VOL+/-: On any screen, long press the button to access volume control function, press
or to increase or decrease the volume.

Main Functions
Music
Home Menu
The home menu is the starting point of each application. There are 6 functions on the home
menu: Music, Recordings, FM Radio, Folder, Bluetooth, Settings.
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Music' icon. Press the button to enter. The following
list will be displayed:
● All songs.
● Resume/Now Playing.
● Artists/Albums/Genres.
● Playlists. There are 3 default playlists on the player: Playlist [1]/[2]/[3].
● Create Playlist.
Note: Each playlist can contain a maximum of 100 songs. If a playlist is full and you continue
adding songs, the previously added songs will be automatically deleted.
Play the music.
When you are on the music playing interface, hold down the button to fast forward, and press
it to skip to next track. Hold down the button to fast rewind, and press it to play the previous
track. Press button to play/pause.
While on the music playing interface, tap the button to access to the submenu:
1. Play Mode.
A. Repeat Off: Play songs in the playlist in sequential order.
B. Repeat 1: Repeat playing a single song.
C. Repeat All: Repeat playing all songs.
D. Shuffle: Play songs in random order.

Recorder
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Recordings' icon. Press the button to enter. The
following list will be displayed:
● Start Recording: Press button to start voice recording, press again to pause. Press the
button and choose “Yes” to save the recording file.
● Recordings Library: Find saved recordings.
● Record From: Choose the recording source from microphone or Line in. There are 2 functions
after choosing to record from Line in.
Play: Play music after connecting the player and speaker via line in cable.
Record: Through the line in cable, connect 2 players or connect the player and other devices
with output function to record the audio.
● Record Format: Choose the record format between MP3 (32/64/128/192kbps) or WAV (512/
768/1024/1536kbps).

2. Sound Settings. Choose to set Equalizer and Variable Speed Playback.
3. Repeat Settings.
A. Repeat Mode
Enter. Press the button to enter.
Set. Press button to confirm the starting time A when A is flashing. Then press button
to set the ending time B when B is flashing. The passage from time A to B will be repeated
automatically. The icon for A-B indication will appear on the screen. Press button again
to back to normal playback.
B. Replay Times. Set the replay times from 1 to 10.
C. Replay Interval. Set the replay gap from 1 to 10 (seconds).
4. Add to Playlist/Remove from Playlist. Choose to add to or remove from the 3 existing playlists.
5. Delete. Choose to delete the song that is playing now.
6. Bookmarks. Choose to add bookmark for the song that is playing now, or go to/delete the
bookmark you added.

FM Radio
Folder
Bluetooth
Browse the home menu and select the ‘FM Radio' icon. Press the button to enter. The
following list will be displayed:
●Station List: All the saved stations will be listed here.
●Manual tune/Auto Tune: When choose “Auto tune”, the searched stations will be saved in
“Station list” automatically.
● FM Recordings: View the radio recording files
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Folder' icon. Press the button to enter. All files in the
player will be listed.
Folder Repeat: Play music within folders, allowing for continuous playback from Folder A to
Folder B
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Bluetooth' icon. Press the button to enter. The following
list will be displayed: Bluetooth Switch Control, Search for Device, Device List, BT Upgrade.
Select the device you want to connect/disconnect, and then press to connect/disconnect.
While you’re in the radio playing interface, press the button to switch among preset stations,
press the button or to find tune stations. Press the button to access to its submenu
which includes:
1. Start FM Recording: Press the button to pause/continue, press and select “Yes” to
save the recording file.
2. Presets: All the saved stations.
3. Clear preset/Auto tune.
4. Tuner Region: Choose from Common/European/Japan Band as needed.

Settings
Help and Troubleshooting
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Settings' icon. Press the button to enter. The following
list will be displayed:
• Language/Language. Choose display language.
• Date and Time. Choose “Date and time” to set time format and date. To set time, press to
switch among hour | minute; Press button / to adjust the value
of hour | minute. Set date under “Date Settings > Set Date” and adjust the date like “Time
Settings”.
• Power Off Settings. Automatically shuts down after a set time of inactivity (3/5/10/15/20
minutes).
• Sleep Timer Settings. Automatically shuts down at a designated time (1-99 minutes).
• Display Settings. Set Brightness, Backlight timer and Screensaver.
• Volume Limit. Set the maximum volume level.
• Information. Check the information and disk space about your player.
• Format device/Factory settings. Format the device or restore to factory default settings. Note:
Before formatting the device, please backup the file so as not to lose any files.
Q1: How to reset the language?
There are two ways to reset the language as shown below.
Method 1: Browse the main menu and locate “Settings". Enter the language list from the Settings
menu and select the desired language.
After successfully connected, this player is ready to play music or FM radio via
Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speaker, etc.
Note:
1. When listen to radio by Bluetooth, wired headphones are needed as radio antenna.
2. BT Upgrade function is only available for manufacturer, not for user.

Method 2: Browse the main menu and locate “Settings". Enter the “Factory settings" option by
scrolling down and selecting it. Confirm the selection to restore the device to factory settings.
The player will automatically power on, and you can then select the desired language again.
Q2: Can’t turn on the player; the screen of player goes blank/black; the player is crashed or
has a firmware bug.
1. Power off the player and try turning it on again.
2. Update the firmware. Please contact our customer service or visit our website at https://www.
agptek.com/blog to download the firmware.
Q3: Can’t download files from the computer.
1. Confirm if the player is connected properly.
2. Check if the internal memory's storage space is full.
3. Verify if the USB cable is damaged.
Q4: Can’t recognize the player when connected to the computer via USB cable.
1. Reconnect the player.
2. Restart the computer and reconnect the player.
3. Try connecting the player to another USB port.
4. Charge the player for about 10 minutes before attempting the connection.
Q5: How to play music from the player on a car stereo?
1. Connect the player to the car stereo's USB port using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable.
2. For MP3 songs, use a 3.5mm audio cable for audio transmission. Purchase a 3.5mm audio
cable separately.
3. Avoid using Bluetooth with the car stereo to prevent compatibility issues.
Q6: Disorderly sorting of music files and audio books.
Consider renaming songs in numeric or alphabetical order for better organization. For instance, if
you have 1000 songs, you can name them starting with “0001" followed by the song title, up to
“0999" + song title.
Example:
Song 1: 0001 My Favorite Song
Song 2: 0002 Summer Vibes
Song 0999: 0999 Dancing in the Rain

Specifications
Q7: MP3 unable to find or connect to Bluetooth devices.
1. Ensure both the MP3 player's Bluetooth and the device are turned on. Then perform the search
and pairing process.
2. Disconnect any previously paired Bluetooth devices before searching and pairing again.
3. Delete all Bluetooth devices from the MP3 player's pairing list if connected to multiple devices.
Reconnect them if needed.
4. Check if the Bluetooth headphones or speakers have a version of 2.1 or above. Incompatibility
may cause failure in device discovery.
Q8: Bluetooth connection frequently disconnects.
1. Check the usage environment for potential interference from nearby 2.4GHz sources or
obstacles (such as indoor walls, base stations, routers, high-speed trains, subways, etc.). Try
using Bluetooth in an open area.
2. Maintain a distance within 8-10 meters for uninterrupted Bluetooth connection.Ensure a
maximum of 4-5 meters with obstacles. Keep the Bluetooth function within the specified range
of the product.
