Important Notice
Charge the Player
Connect to the PC & Download Audio Files
Thank you for purchasing AGPTEK Music Player. For the best using experience, please read this
user manual carefully before use and keep it for further reference.
• Charge by computer USB port.
• Use a charger of 5V/500mA or 5V/1A (Charger not included).
1. Open the Windows Explorer or “This PC".
2. Connect the player to your PC's USB port using the provided USB cable.
3. Open the new “AGP-U5PL" folder under “This PC".
4. Copy files to the “AGP-U5PL" in which you want them to play.
5. In the right sidebar, right-click the “AGP-U5PL " folder and select “Eject" from the menu.
6. Wait until the computer confirms a safe ejection before you unplug the USB cable.
7. Note: Please do not disconnect the USB plug during file transferring. It may cause malfunction
of the player and the files.

Buttons and Controls
Essential Functions
1. Power On/Off: Long press the button to turn on/off the player.
2. Screen Display: Short press the button or long press the button to activate the screen.
3. Browse Item: On the home menu or list menu, press the button / to browse the item,
press the button to enter.
4. Back: On any screen, short press the button to go back.
5. VOL+/-: On any screen, long press the button to access volume control function, press
or to increase or decrease the volume.

Main Functions
Music
Home Menu
The home menu is the starting point of each application. There are 6 functions on the home
menu: Music, Recordings, FM Radio, Folder, Bluetooth, Settings.
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Music' icon. Press the button to enter. The following
list will be displayed:
● All songs.
● Resume/Now Playing.
● Artists/Albums/Genres.
● Playlists. There are 3 default playlists on the player: Playlist [1]/[2]/[3].
● Create Playlist.
Note: Each playlist can contain a maximum of 100 songs. If a playlist is full and you continue
adding songs, the previously added songs will be automatically deleted.
Play the music.
When you are on the music playing interface, hold down the button to fast forward, and press
it to skip to next track. Hold down the button to fast rewind, and press it to play the previous
track. Press button to play/pause.
While on the music playing interface, tap the button to access to the submenu：
1. Play Mode.
A. Repeat Off: Play songs in the playlist in sequential order.
B. Repeat 1: Repeat playing a single song.
C. Repeat All: Repeat playing all songs.
D. Shuffle: Play songs in random order.

Recorder
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Recordings' icon. Press the button to enter. The
following list will be displayed:
● Start Recording: Press button to start voice recording, press again to pause. Press the
button and choose “Yes” to save the recording file.
● Recordings Library: Find saved recordings.
● Record From: Choose the recording source from microphone or Line in. There are 2 functions
after choosing to record from Line in.
Play: Play music after connecting the player and speaker via line in cable.
Record: Through the line in cable, connect 2 players or connect the player and other devices
with output function to record the audio.
● Record Format: Choose the record format between MP3 (32/64/128/192kbps) or WAV (512/
768/1024/1536kbps).

2. Sound Settings. Choose to set Equalizer and Variable Speed Playback.
3. Repeat Settings.
A. Repeat Mode
Enter. Press the button to enter.
Set. Press button to confirm the starting time A when A is flashing. Then press button
to set the ending time B when B is flashing. The passage from time A to B will be repeated
automatically. The icon for A-B indication will appear on the screen. Press button again
to back to normal playback.
B. Replay Times. Set the replay times from 1 to 10.
C. Replay Interval. Set the replay gap from 1 to 10 (seconds).
4. Add to Playlist/Remove from Playlist. Choose to add to or remove from the 3 existing playlists.
5. Delete. Choose to delete the song that is playing now.
6. Bookmarks. Choose to add bookmark for the song that is playing now, or go to/delete the
bookmark you added.

FM Radio
Folder
Bluetooth
Browse the home menu and select the ‘FM Radio' icon. Press the button to enter. The
following list will be displayed:
●Station List: All the saved stations will be listed here.
●Manual tune/Auto Tune: When choose “Auto tune”, the searched stations will be saved in
“Station list” automatically.
● FM Recordings: View the radio recording files
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Folder' icon. Press the button to enter. All files in the
player will be listed.
Folder Repeat: Play music within folders, allowing for continuous playback from Folder A to
Folder B
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Bluetooth' icon. Press the button to enter. The following
list will be displayed: Bluetooth Switch Control, Search for Device, Device List, BT Upgrade.
Select the device you want to connect/disconnect, and then press to connect/disconnect.
While you’re in the radio playing interface, press the button to switch among preset stations,
press the button or to find tune stations. Press the button to access to its submenu
which includes:
1. Start FM Recording: Press the button to pause/continue, press and select “Yes” to
save the recording file.
2. Presets: All the saved stations.
3. Clear preset/Auto tune.
4. Tuner Region: Choose from Common/European/Japan Band as needed.
5. FM Recordings.

Settings
Help and Troubleshooting
Browse the home menu and select the ‘Settings' icon. Press the button to enter. The following
list will be displayed:
• Language/Language. Choose display language.
• Date and Time. Choose “Date and time” to set time format and date. To set time, press to
switch among hour | minute; Press button / to adjust the value
of hour | minute. Set date under “Date Settings > Set Date” and adjust the date like “Time
Settings”.
• Power Off Settings. Automatically shuts down after a set time of inactivity (3/5/10/15/20
minutes).
• Sleep Timer Settings. Automatically shuts down at a designated time (1-99 minutes).
• Display Settings. Set Brightness, Backlight timer and Screensaver.
• Volume Limit. Set the maximum volume level.
• Information. Check the information and disk space about your player.
• Format device/Factory settings. Format the device or restore to factory default settings. Note:
Before formatting the device, please backup the file so as not to lose any files.
Q1: How to reset the language?
There are two ways to reset the language as shown below.
Method 1: Browse the main menu and locate “Settings". Enter the language list from the Settings
menu and select the desired language.
After successfully connected, this player is ready to play music or FM radio via
Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speaker, etc.
Note:
1. When listen to radio by Bluetooth, wired headphones are needed as radio antenna.
2. BT Upgrade function is only available for manufacturer, not for user.

Method 2: Browse the main menu and locate “Settings". Enter the “Factory settings" option by
scrolling down and selecting it. Confirm the selection to restore the device to factory settings.
The player will automatically power on, and you can then select the desired language again.
Q2: Can’t turn on the player; the screen of player goes blank/black; the player is crashed or
has a firmware bug.
1. Power off the player and try turning it on again.
2. Update the firmware. Please contact our customer service or visit our website at https://www.
agptek.com/blog to download the firmware.
Q3: Can’t download files from the computer.
1. Confirm if the player is connected properly.
2. Check if the internal memory's storage space is full.
3. Verify if the USB cable is damaged.
Q4: Can’t recognize the player when connected to the computer via USB cable.
1. Reconnect the player.
2. Restart the computer and reconnect the player.
3. Try connecting the player to another USB port.
4. Charge the player for about 10 minutes before attempting the connection.
Q5: How to play music from the player on a car stereo?
1. Connect the player to the car stereo's USB port using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable.
2. For MP3 songs, use a 3.5mm audio cable for audio transmission. Purchase a 3.5mm audio
cable separately.
3. Avoid using Bluetooth with the car stereo to prevent compatibility issues.
Q6: Disorderly sorting of music files and audio books.
Consider renaming songs in numeric or alphabetical order for better organization. For instance, if
you have 1000 songs, you can name them starting with “0001" followed by the song title, up to
“0999" + song title.
Example:
Song 1: 0001 My Favorite Song
Song 2: 0002 Summer Vibes
Song 0999: 0999 Dancing in the Rain

Specifications
Q7: MP3 unable to find or connect to Bluetooth devices.
1. Ensure both the MP3 player's Bluetooth and the device are turned on. Then perform the search
and pairing process.
2. Disconnect any previously paired Bluetooth devices before searching and pairing again.
3. Delete all Bluetooth devices from the MP3 player's pairing list if connected to multiple devices.
Reconnect them if needed.
4. Check if the Bluetooth headphones or speakers have a version of 2.1 or above. Incompatibility
may cause failure in device discovery.
Q8: Bluetooth connection frequently disconnects.
1. Check the usage environment for potential interference from nearby 2.4GHz sources or
obstacles (such as indoor walls, base stations, routers, high-speed trains, subways, etc.). Try
using Bluetooth in an open area.
2. Maintain a distance within 8-10 meters for uninterrupted Bluetooth connection.Ensure a
maximum of 4-5 meters with obstacles. Keep the Bluetooth function within the specified range
of the product.

Notes On Battery Charging
1. Please use the PC USB port or a 5V/1A power adapter to charge the device.
Note:
A. When using the PC USB port to charge, the current output capability of the USB port of
different PCs is different and the charging time will be slightly different. It is recommended
that when using the PC USB port to charge, try to power off the device to speed up the charging.
B. The charger and the MP3 player will heat up to a certain extent during charging, which is a
normal phenomenon.
2. New battery needs to go through several charging and discharging processes to achieve the
best performance.

Tips for Hearing Conservation

3. Under normal circumstances, the player can be fully charged in about 3h. It is recommended to
pull out from the USB port after charging, and do not connect to the power supply for a long time.
4. The battery of this device is a polymer lithium battery, which can be recharged and used.
5. The polymer lithium battery must be replaced by a professional, and the user must not replace it
by himself (Note: If the battery is replaced improperly, there will be a danger of explosion, and it
can only be replaced with the same type or equivalent type of battery); in order to protect the
environment, please hand over the waste batteries to a professional organization for recycling.
6. The lifespan of the battery may vary with the conditions of use and production time.
7. The battery should not be exposed to sunlight, fire or similar overheating environment.
1. It is recommended to turn down the volume of the device before using the earphones, and
gradually increase until it is suitable when you start to listen.
2. In order to protect hearing, please do not turn up the volume too high (doctors pointed out that
listening at high volume for a long time will damage the listener's hearing).
3. When tinnitus occurs, please lower the volume or stop using it.
1. Before formatting the device, it is recommended to back up the personal data stored in it in time.

• Laden über den USB-Anschluss des Computers.
• Verwenden ein Ladegerät mit 5 V/500 mA oder 5 V/1 A (nicht enthalten).
1. Öffnen Sie den Windows Explorer oder „Dieser PC“.
2. Schließen Sie den Player mit dem mitgelieferten Kabel an den USB-Anschluss Ihres PCs an.
3. Öffnen Sie den neuen Ordner „AGP-U5PL“ unter „Dieser PC“.
4. Kopieren Sie die Dateien auf den „AGP-U5PL“, die Sie abspielen möchten.

Durchsuchen Sie das Menü und wählen „Musik“, drücken die Taste , die folgende Liste wird
angezeigt:
● Alle Titel.
● Fortsetzen/Läuft gerade.
● Sänger/Albums/Genres.
● Wiedergabeliste. Es gibt 3 Standard Wiedergabelisten: Wiedergabeliste [1]/[2]/[3].
● Playlist erstellen.
Hinweis: Jede Playlist kann maximal 100 Songs enthalten. Wenn eine Playlist voll ist und Sie
weitere Songs hinzufügen, werden die zuvor hinzugefügten Songs automatisch gelöscht.
Das Hauptmenü ist der Ausgangspunkt jeder Anwendung. Gibt es 6 Funktionen: Musik, Aufnahmen,
UKW-Radio, Ordner, Bluetooth, Einstellungen.
Wenn Sie sich auf der Musikwiedergabeoberfläche befinden, halten die Taste gedrückt, um
schnell vorzuspulen, drück zum vorherigen Titel zu springen. Halten die Taste gedrückt, um
schnell zurückzuspulen, drück zum nächsten Titel zu springen. Drücken die Taste zum
Abspielen/Pause.
Bei der Musikwiedergabe Seite, drücken zum Untermenü：
1. Wiedergabemodus.
A. Sequenzwiedergabe: Spielen die Titel in der Wiedergabeliste der Reihe nach ab.
B. Eins Wiederholen : Wiederholen ein einzelnes Lied.
C. Alles Wiederholen: Wiederholen alle Lieder.
D. Shuffle: Spielen Lieder in zufälliger Reihenfolge ab.
2. Sound Einstellung. Wählen Sie „Equalizer“ und Wiedergabe mit variabler Geschwindigkeit.

Aufnahme
4. Zur Playlist hinzufügen/aus Playlist entfernen. Wählen Sie, ob Sie den drei vorhandenen
Wiedergabelisten etwas hinzufügen oder daraus entfernen möchten.
5. Löschen. Wählen Sie, ob Sie das Lied löschen möchten, das gerade abgespielt wird.
6. Lesezeichen. Fügen Sie ein Lesezeichen für das Lied hinzu, das gerade abgespielt wird, oder
gehen Sie zu dem von Ihnen hinzugefügten Lesezeichen bzw. löschen Sie es.
Durchsuchen Sie das Startmenü und wählen „Aufnahme“. Drücken Sie die Taste , die folgende
Liste wird angezeigt:
● Starte die Aufnahme: Drücken die Taste zum Starten, und erneut zu pausieren. Drücken die
Taste und wählen „Ja“ zum Speichern.
● Aufnahmebibliothek: Gespeicherte Aufnahmen finden.
● Aufnahme von: Wählen Sie die Aufnahmequelle aus Mikrofon oder Line-In. Nach der Auswahl
der Aufnahme über Line-In stehen Ihnen zwei Funktionen zur Verfügung.
Spielen: Spielen Sie Musik ab, nachdem den Player und den Lautsprecher über ein Line-In
Kabel verbunden haben.
Aufnahme: Schließen Sie über das Line-In Kabel zwei Player an oder verbinden Sie den Player
und andere Geräte mit Ausgabefunktion, um den Ton aufzunehmen.
● Aufnahme Format: Wählen Sie das Aufnahmeformat zwischen MP3 (32/64/128/192kbps) oder
WAV (512/768/1024/1536kbps).

A. Wiederholungsmodus
Eingeben. Drücken Sie die Taste .
Einstellungen. Drücken Sie die Taste um die Startzeit A zu bestätigen, wenn A blinkt.
Dann drücken Sie um die Endzeit B einzustellen, wenn B blinkt. Der Durchgang von Zeit
A nach B wird automatisch wiederholt. Das Symbol für die A-B Anzeige erscheint auf dem
Bildschirm. Drücken Sie erneut, um zur normalen Wiedergabe zurückzukehren.
B. Wiederholung Mals. Stellen die Wiederholung Mal von 1 bis 10 ein.
C. Wiederholung Interval. Stellen Interval von 1 bis 10 (Sekunden) ein.

UKW Radio
Durchsuchen Sie das Startmenü und wählen „Ordner“. Drücken Sie die Taste , alle Dateien im
Player werden aufgelistet.
Ordner Wiederholen: Spielen Sie Musik innerhalb von Ordnern ab und ermöglichen Sie eine
kontinuierliche Wiedergabe von Ordner A bis Ordner B
Durchsuchen Sie das Startmenü und wählen „UKW Radio“. Drücken Sie die Taste , die folgende
Liste wird angezeigt:
● Senderliste: Hier werden alle gespeicherten Sender aufgelistet.
● Manuelle/Automatische Abstimmung: Wenn Sie „Automatisch“ wählen, werden die gesuchten
Sender automatisch in der „Senderliste“ gespeichert.
● UKW-Aufnahme: Sehen Sie sich die Radioaufzeichnung Dateien an. Während Sie sich in der
Radio Wiedergabe Oberfläche befinden, drücken Sie die Taste , um zwischen voreingestellten
Sendern zu wechseln, drücken oder , um Sender zu finden. Drücken Sie die Taste ,
um auf das Untermenü zuzugreifen, das Folgendes enthält:
1. Starten die UKW Aufnahme: Drücken Sie die Taste zu pausieren/fortfahren, drücken
und wählen „Ja“, um die Aufnahmedatei zu speichern.
2. Voreinstellungen: Alle gespeicherten Sender.
3. Voreinstellung löschen/Autotune.
4. Tuner Region: Wählen je nach Bedarf zwischen den Bändern Common/European/Japan.
5. UKW-Aufnahme.

Durchsuchen Sie das Startmenü und wählen „Bluetooth“. Drücken Sie die Taste , die folgende
Liste wird angezeigt: Bluetooth Ein/Aus, Suchen, Geräteliste, BT Aktualisieren.

Hilfe und Fehlerbehebung
• Ausschalteinstellungen. Automatische Abschaltung nach nicht verwendbarer Zeit der Inaktivität
(3/5/10/15/20 Minuten).
• Sleep Timer. Automatisches Ausschlten zu einer bestimmten Zeit (1–99 Minuten).
• Bildschirm Einstellungen. Stellen Helligkeit, Hintergrundbeleuchtung Timer und Bildschirmschoner
ein.
• Lautstärkebegrenzung. Stellen die maximale Lautstärke ein.
• Information. Überprüfen Sie die Informationen und den Speicherplatz..
• Gerät formatieren/Zurücksetzen. Formatieren das Gerät oder stellen es auf die
Werkseinstellungen zurück. Hinweis: Bevor Sie das Gerät formatieren, sichern Sie bitte die Datei,
um keine Dateien zu verlieren.
Einstellungen
Durchsuchen das Startmenü und wählen „Einstellungen“. Drücken Sie die Taste , um einzutreten.
Die folgende Liste wird angezeigt:
• Language/Sprache. Wählen Sie die Anzeigesprache.
• Datum und Zeit. Wählen Sie „Datum und Uhrzeit“, um das Zeitformat und das Datum
festzulegen. Um die Uhrzeit einzustellen, drücken Sie , um zwischen Stunde | Minute zu
wechseln; Drücken die Taste / , um Stunde | Minute anzupassen. Stellen Sie „Datum >
Zeit“ und passen wie unter „Zeiteinstellungen”an.
Wählen Sie das Gerät aus, das Sie verbinden/trennen möchten, drücken die Taste zur
Verbindung/Trennung. Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung kann dieser Player Musik oder UKW- Radio
über Bluetooth-Kopfhörer, Lautsprecher usw. abzuspielen.
Hinweis:
1. Wenn Sie über Bluetooth Radio hören, werden kabelgebundene Kopfhörer als Radioantenne
benötigt.
2. Die BT-Upgrade Funktion ist nur für Hersteller verfügbar, nicht für Benutzer.

F1: Wie setzen Sie die Sprache zurück?
Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten, die Sprache zurückzusetzen, wie unten gezeigt.
Methode 1: Durchsuchen Sie das Hauptmenü und suchen Sie nach „Einstellungen“. Finden Sie „
die Sprache“ und wählen Sie die gewünschte Sprache aus.
Methode 2: Durchsuchen Sie das Hauptmenü und suchen Sie nach „Einstellungen“. Finden Sie die
Option „Zurücksetzen“ auf, indem Sie nach unten scrollen und auswählen. Bestätigen Sie die
Auswahl. Der Player schaltet sich automatisch ein und Sie können dann erneut die gewünschte
Sprache auswählen.
F2: Der Player lässt sich nicht einschalten; der Bildschirm wird leer/schwarz; abgestürzt oder
weist einen Firmware Fehler auf.
1. Schalten Sie den Player aus und versuchen erneut, ihn einzuschalten.
2. Aktualisieren Sie die Firmware. Bitte kontaktieren Sie unseren Kundenservice oder besuchen
unsere Website unter https://www.agptek.com/blog, um die Firmware herunterzuladen.
F3: Dateien können nicht vom Computer heruntergeladen werden.
1. Überprüfen Sie, ob der Player richtig angeschlossen ist.
2. Überprüfen Sie, ob der interne Speicher voll ist.
3. Überprüfen Sie, ob das USB-Kabel beschädigt ist.
F4: Der Player wird nicht erkannt, wenn er über ein USB-Kabel mit dem Computer verbunden ist.
1. Schließen Sie den Player wieder an.
2. Starten Sie den Computer neu und schließen den Player erneut an.
3. Versuchen Sie, den Player an einen anderen USB-Anschluss anzuschließen.
4. Laden Sie den Player etwa 10 Minuten lang auf, bevor Sie versuchen, eine Verbindung
herzustellen.
F5: Wie spielt man Musik vom Player auf einem Autoradio ab?
1. Schließen Sie den Player mit dem mitgelieferten USB-C auf USB-A Kabel an den USB
Anschluss des Autoradios an.
2. Verwenden Sie für MP3-Songs ein 3,5 mm Audiokabel zur Audioübertragung. Kaufen Sie
separat ein 3,5 mm Audiokabel.
3. Vermeiden Sie die Verwendung von Bluetooth mit dem Autoradio, um Kompatibilitätsprobleme
zu vermeiden.

Bitte Lieder zur besseren Organisation in numerischer oder alphabetischer Reihenfolge
umzubenennen. Wenn Sie beispielsweise 1000 Songs haben, können Sie diese beginnend mit „
0001“, gefolgt vom Songtitel, bis hin zu „0999“ + Songtitel benennen.
Beispiel:
Lied 1: 0001 My Favorite Song
Lied 2: 0002 Summer Vibes
Lied 999: 0999 Dancing in the Rain
F7: MP3 kann Bluetooth Geräte nicht finden oder keine Verbindung zu herstellen.
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Bluetooth des MP3 Players und des Geräts eingeschaltet sind.
Führen Sie dann den Such- und Kopplungsvorgang durch.
2. Trennen Sie alle zuvor gekoppelten Bluetooth Geräte, bevor Sie erneut suchen und koppeln.
3. Löschen Sie alle Bluetooth Geräte aus der Kopplungsliste des MP3 Players, wenn dieser mit
mehreren Geräten verbunden ist. Schließen Sie sie bei Bedarf erneut an.
4. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Bluetooth Kopfhörer oder Lautsprecher eine Version von 2.1 oder
höher haben. Inkompatibilität kann zu Fehlern bei der Geräteerkennung führen.

1. Überprüfen Sie die Nutzungsumgebung auf mögliche Störungen durch nahe gelegene 2,4-GHz
Quellen oder Hindernisse (z.B. Innenwände, Basisstationen, Router, Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge,
U-Bahnen usw.). Versuchen Sie, Bluetooth in einem offenen Bereich zu verwenden.
2. Halten Sie einen Abstand von 8–10 Metern ein, um eine unterbrechungsfreie Bluetooth
Verbindung zu gewährleisten. Achten Sie bei Hindernissen auf einen Abstand von maximal 4-5
Metern. Halten Sie die Bluetooth Funktion innerhalb der angegebenen Reichweite des Produkts.
