INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Longfield Easy Riser Chair from Aidapt. This product
is manufactured from the finest material and components available. When installed and
used correctly it is designed to give many years of reliable trouble-free service.
IMPORTANT!
N.B. This equipment must be installed by a competent person.
Do not exceed the weight limit stated – doing so could put the user at ris . Subject to a
full ris assessment.

BEFORE USE
Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments as this
may damage the surface of the item.
Check the product for any visible damage f you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not
use your product, but contact your supplier for support.
The chair is delivered fitted with two springs. f required, further springs can be added.
USE OF THE LONGFIELD EASY RISER LOUNGE CHAIR
With all riser cushions and chairs consider any ris that the mechanism may
trap a part of the user’s body, his/her clothes, or items such as wal ing stic s.
Consider also the ris of entrapping other people, especially children, or pets.
Do not allow children or unauthorised persons to play with or use the chair.
Do not place fingers or foreign objects into the exposed frame below or at the
sides of the seat cushion as this can lead to serious injury.
Please ta e care when sitting on the chair; should you lean forward to reach
for something as this may cause the assisted-lift to operate and tilt the seat
forward.
Please follow the instructions below to safely rise from the chair:
1. Place your feet flat on the floor in front of the chair and your hands onto the top of
the armrests.
2. Lean slightly forward on the seat and prepare to take your weight onto your feet,
allowing the springs below the seat to gently tip the cushion forward.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Remove the ‘E’ clip from the extension leg and extend all legs evenly to the desired height
ensuring you do not exceed the last punched hole of the extension leg. (see fig. 1)
Once you have achieved the desired height; reinstall the ‘E’ clip, ensuring that it has passed
through the extension leg and is fitting neatly and snug around the outside leg. (see fig. 2)
Never install the extension legs unevenly or slanting, this will compromise the
safety of the user.

CLEANING
t is important that you only clean the upholstery using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild
detergent with a soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners and/ or abrasive cleaning pads will seriously
damage the upholstery beyond repair. Always ensure that you wipe dry the equipment after
cleaning.
This product can be treated with formaldehyde if required, but it is important that this
treatment be carried out by an approved contractor or an experienced person and under
suitable conditions.
On no account must you attempt to clean with this method if you or your
premises do not meet the legal requirements and guidelines governing the
use of hazardous chemicals.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any concerns.
REISSUE
f you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all components
for their safety.
This includes:
•Tightness of all nuts/bolts/castors and other screw in/bolt in/push in components.
•Also check all upholstery (if applicable) for security, splits, exposed staples, etc.
If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your
supplier for service support.

I TRODUCTIO
Nous vous remercions d'avoir acheté ce fauteuil Aidapt. Celui-ci est fabriqué avec les
meilleurs matériaux et composants disponibles. Si vous l'installez et l'utilisez correctement, il
vous donnera enti re satisfaction pendant de nombreuses années.

AVA T UTILISATIO
Déballez délicatement le fauteuil. Evitez l'utilisation de couteaux ou autres objets tranchants
car cela pourrait endommager le revêtement du fauteuil.
Vérifiez que le produit n'a pas de défaut. Si vous avez le moindre doute, merci de contacter
votre revendeur.
Le fauteuil est livré avec deux ressorts. Si besoin, des ressorts supplémentaires peuvent vous
être fournis.
UTILISATIO
Soyez prudent, faites attention de ne pas coincer vos vêtement, des objets
comme une canne ou des parties de votre corps dans le mécanisme. Faites
également attention aux enfants et aux animaux domestiques qui pourraient
se blesser avec le mécanisme.
Ne laissez jamais les enfants ou les personnes non autorisées utiliser le
fauteuil ou jouer avec.
e mettez pas vos doigts ni des objets dans le cadre situé sous le coussin du
siège ou de chaque côté car cela peut entraîner des blessures graves.
Faites attention quand vous êtes assis sur le fauteuil ; si vous devez vous
pencher pour atteindre quelque chose, le mécanisme de levage pourrait se
mettre en fonctionnement et incliner le siège vers l'avant.
Veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes pour vous lever du fauteuil en toute sécurité :
1. Posez vos pieds à plat sur le sol devant le fauteuil et vos mains sur les accoudoirs.
2. Penchez-vous lég rement vers l'avant et préparez-vous à mettre tout votre poids
sur vos pieds, afin de permettre aux ressorts situés sous le si ge de faire basculer
doucement le coussin vers l'avant.

REGLAGE DE LA HAUTEUR
Enlevez le clip ''E'' du pied extensible et réglez tous les pieds à la même hauteur, en vous
assurant de ne pas dépasser dépasser le dernier trou percé (voir fig. 1).
Une fis que vous avez réglé la hauteur désirée, réinstallez le clip ''E'' en vérifiant qu'il passe
bien au travers du pied et qu'il est bien ajusté.
Les pieds extensibles du fauteuil doivent toujours être réglées à la même
hauteur et à niveau, jamais en oblique car cela mettrait l'utilisateur en danger.

ETTOYAGE
Il est important d'entretenir le fauteuil en utilisant un produit de nettoyage non -abrasif ou
un détergent doux et un chiffon doux. Les détergents abrasifs et les éponges abrasives
endommageraient sérieusement le revêtement de votre fauteuil. Essuyez-bien apr s le
nettoyage.
Le produit peut être traité avec du formaldéhyde si besoin, mais il est important que le
traitement soit effectué par une personne expérimentée ou un entrepreneur agréé et dans
les conditions adéquates.
En aucun cas, vous ne devez essayer de nettoyer le fauteuil selon cette
méthode si vous ou vos locaux n'êtes pas en conformité avec les normes en
vigueur concernant l'utilisation de produits chimiques dangereux.
E TRETIE
Il est conseillé de nettoyer réguli rement votre fauteuil. Vérifiez réguli rement son état et la
visserie.
RÉUTILISATIO
Si vos n'avez pas utilisé les réhausseurs de mobilier pendant longtemps, vérifiez qu'ils sont
en bon état avant des les utiliser de nouveau.
En cas de doute, ne les utilisez pas ni ne les prêtez pas et contactez votre
revendeur.

Mit allen „Steh-Auf“ Sesseln und Stühlen gibt es ein Risiko, dass in dem
Mechanismus Finger oder Hände des Benutzers, bzw. seiner / ihrer Kleidung
oder Gegenstände wie Stöcke einklemmen können. Beachten Sie auch das
Risiko von inklemmen anderer Personen, insbesondere Kinder oder Haustiere.
Lassen Sie deshalb Kinder oder nicht autorisierte Personen NICHT mit dem
Stuhl spielen oder nutzen.
Halten Sie keine Finger oder Fremdkörper in den Mechanismus unten oder an
den Seiten der Sitzfläche, da dies zu schweren Verletzungen führen kann..
Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass sich die auf dem Stuhl sitzende Person nicht
achtlos nach vorne beugt. Die assistierende Lifttechnik würde dazu führen,
dass der Sitz nach vorne kippt..

Bitte folgen Sie den nachstehenden Anweisungen, u sicher vo Stuhl steigen
1. Stellen Sie Ihre Füße flach auf de Boden vor de Stuhl und die Hände auf der
Oberseite der Ar lehnen.
2. Lehnen Sie sich leicht nach vorne auf de Sitz und bereiten Sie sich darauf vor, Ihr
Gewicht auf die Füße zu stellen, so dass die Federn unter de Sitz die Sitzfläche
sanft nach vorne kippen kann.
HÖH N INST LLUNG
Entfernen Sie die unteren E-Clips von den ausziehbaren Beinen und ziehen Sie jeden Bein auf
die gewünschte Länge aus (siehe Abb. 1).
Achten Sie darauf, dass alle vier Beine die gleiche Länge haben. Setzen Sie alle E-Clips
wieder, sodass diese auf die Lochreihe zeigen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die E-Clips vollständig
durch den Rah en und die Beine hindurch reichen und fest sitzen (siehe Abb. 2).
Stellen Sie die Beine niemals ungleich ein! Dies ist gefährlich und kann die
Sicherheit des/der Benutzers/in ernsthaft beeinträchtigen.

R INIGUNG
Es ist sehr wichtig, dass Sie die Polsterung it eine nicht-scheuernden Reiniger oder eine
ilden Wasch ittel und it eine weichen Tuch säubern. Scheuer ittel, wie z.B. AJAX,
oder scheuernde Schwä e können die Polsterung ernsthaft und irreparabel beschädigen.
Wischen Sie Ihr Produkt nach der Reinigung stets trocken.
Produkte in dieser Gruppe können falls nötig auch it For aldehyd gereinigt werden.
Lassen Sie diese Behandlung aber nur durch eine zugelassene Fachkraft oder erfahrene
Person unter geeigneten Bedingungen durchführen.
Sie dürfen diese Reinigungsmethode keinesfalls anwenden, sollten Sie oder
Ihre Örtlichkeit nicht die gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Bedingungen und
Richtlinien für den insatz schädlicher Chemikalien erfüllen.
