ACV2 - OTS Test Procedure
Rev C - 9/24/2012
1. Connect an iPad 3 into the ACV2 OTS Unit
2. Connect a Power supply to the unit
3. Press the Power Button.
a. Verify the charging on the iPad
b. Verify Power button is lights up Green
4. Open the “Settings” application
5. Click on General on the left hand side
6. Click on About on the right hand side
7. Find “MPC Fly” on the bottom of the 2nd list on the right hand side
a. Verify: Firmware Revision 0.0.5
8. Exit the Settings applicaition.
9. Open the “MIDI Tool Box” iPad Application.
10.Press the “I/O Setup” button
11.Make sure “MPC FLY” is checked for both Inputs and Outputs.
12.Make sure no other inputs or outputs are checked.
13.Make sure “MIDI Thru” is enabled.
14.Press the “Midi Tool Box” button on the top left to return back to the main
menu
15.Press the “Event Monitor” button
16.Be sure you are at “In’” in the bottom
17.Press Each button
a. Verify: the values for each button match the chart below:
i. You should receive a velocity of 127 for each button
press
and a velocity of 0 for each button release

c. Verify You receive a Note On message, followed by the
PolyPress message followed by a Note Off message.
Sometimes you will receive the note off message 2nd to last.
This is okay.
d. Verify: As you increase pressure on the pads, the
PolyPressure value increases
