5. Installation
5.1 Positioning and switching on
PAY ATTENTION: IT IS ESSENTIAL TO FASTEN THE MACHINE TO A
SOLID WALL BY USING EXPANSION BOLTS
Put the Change Machine in place and fasten it to the wall by tightening expansion bolts through the
holes preset in the rear side. Keep the on-off switch accessible. It is also possible to secure the
machine to the floor. The large holes at the foot allow to secure the machine by a binding chain.
Open the filling door on top and funnel the coins (or the tokens) into the hopper(s). HAMMER1
ONE and HAMMER1 CD handle one coin denomination; HAMMER1 CD+CD can handle 2.
WARNING: switch off the machine before introducing the coins!
Lock the door back, plug the power cable in and turn the on-off switch on.
The display will show that the machine is carrying out
the initial self-check and self-configuration.
A further message will inform that the machine is ready for operation, and will show what coin
(token) value will be paid in exchange for notes and coins introduced.
This message takes shifts with:
If such value does not correspond to the actual coins
funneled in, open the upper sliding drawer and enter into the menu to set the correct value for the
coins (tokens) to be paid-out (see Chapter 7. 3.6) .
As soon as the control board enables the note acceptor, the acceptor front slot flashes once in blue
colour for each enabled note, or once in red for each disabled note. For instance, if the 5, 10, 20
Euro notes are enabled, and the 50 and 100 Euro notes are disabled, the front slot will flash 3 times
in blue colour and 2 (twice) in red. The machine is now ready to operate.
