Assembly
ASSEMBLY
Step 1
Insert the lower post assembly (11) into the base assembly (16)
and aach it ghtly using 4 M6X30 screws. Insert the clamp (12)
into the lower post (11). (See figure 1)
Step 2
Join the lower post assembly (11) and the middle post (9)
using 3 M5X6 screws. (See figure 2)

Step 3
Join the upper post assembly (7) and the middle post (9) using 3 M5X6 screws.
(See figure 3)
Step 5
Join the heating element assembly (1) and the upper post assembly (7) together and
tighten the screws. Use the clamp to secure power cord. (See figure 5)

Electric Patio Heater General Information
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This electrical appliance complies with technical safety and electromagnetic
compatibility standards.
• Never touch your heater when in operation (risk of burns).
• Never touch your heater with wet hands.
• Never rotate the heating part of the appliance during operation. To change the tilt angle
of the heating part, we advise you to wait for 15 minutes after the appliance has been
switched off.
• Never place anything on your heater's safety guard as this may cause overheating (e.g.
towels.) Never use your appliance to dry washing.
• After the heating element has stopped glowing, it may still be live and potentially
dangerous. Check that the selection indicator (5) is in the off position before taking any
action.
• Switch off your appliance:
- After use
- In the event of malfunction
- Before cleaning it.
• Never operate your appliance if it has fallen over.
• Never dismantle your appliance. An incorrectly repaired appliance maybe dangerous to
the user. If you encounter any problems, please contact customer support at
888-775-1330.
• The warranty will be void in the event of damage arising from improper use.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surrounding of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool.
• This movable appliance is designed for use in patio areas, and can be used indoors and
outdoors.
• The heater is provided with an anti-tilt switch which will switch off the heater if it is
overturned, and will switch it on again automatically when it is restored to its upright
position.
• Before using the appliance at the first time, ensure that your mains voltage
corresponds to voltage indicated on the appliance. It is a class I appliance and must be
grounded.
•Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the
heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned
incorrectly.
•Do not place the appliance close to curtains and other combustible materials.

Turn the heater on using the pull switch. The slight vibraon noceable
when the heater is switched on will stop aer a few seconds.

ENSAMBLAJE
Paso 1
Insertar el conjunto del poste inferior (11) en el conjunto de la
base (16) y fijar firmemente con los tornillos M6x30. Insertar la
abrazadera (12) en el poste inferior (11). (ver figura 1)
Paso 2
Unir el conjunto del poste inferior (11) y el poste
intermedio (9) utilizando 3 tornillos M5x6. (ver figura 2)

Unir el conjunto del poste superior (7) y el poste intermedio (9) utilizando 3 tornillos

Paso 5
Unir el conjunto del elemento calefactor (1) y el conjunto de poste superior (7) y
apretar los tornillos. Utilice la abrazadera para fijar el cable de alimentación. (ver
figura 5)

Conectar la agarradera a la parte posterior del conjunto del elemento
calefactor con 2 tornillos M4X10. (ver figura 4)

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD
• Este electrodoméstico cumple con las normas de seguridad técnica y compatibilidad
electromagnética.
• Nunca toque el calentador cuando está en funcionamiento (riesgo de quemaduras).
• Nunca toque el calentador con las manos mojadas.
• Nunca haga girar la parte de calentamiento del aparato durante el funcionamiento.
Para cambiar el ángulo de inclinación de la parte de calentamiento, le recomendamos
que espere 15 minutos después que se ha desconectado el aparato.
• Nunca coloque ningún objeto sobre la cubierta de seguridad de su calentador ya que
esto puede causar un sobrecalentamiento (por ejemplo, toallas). Nunca utilice el
aparato para secar artículos lavados.
• Después que el elemento de calentamiento ha dejado de estar incandescente, todavía
puede estar vivo y potencialmente peligroso. Compruebe que el indicador de selección
(5) está en la posición de apagado antes de realizar cualquier acción.
•Apague el aparato:
- Después de su uso
- En el caso de funcionamiento defectuoso
- Antes de limpiarlo.
• Nunca utilice el aparato si se ha caído.

• Este aparato movible está diseñado para su uso en los patios, y se puede utilizar en
interiores y exteriores.
• El calentador está provisto de un interruptor antivuelco que lo apagará si se vuelca, y
lo encenderá de nuevo automáticamente cuando se restaure a su posición vertical.
• Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, asegúrese de que el voltaje de la red
corresponde al voltaje indicado en el aparato. Este es un aparato de clase I y debe estar
conectado a tierra.
•No utilice este calentador con un programador, temporizador o cualquier otro
dispositivo que encienda el calentador en forma automática, ya que existe un riesgo de

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD (CONTINUACIÓN)
SI SE SOBRECALIENTA
•

apagará.
• Desenchufe el aparato del tomacorriente y deje que se enfríe.
• Quite los objetos cercanos que puedan estar causando las condiciones para el
sobrecalentamiento. Mantenga por lo menos una distancia de 3 pies (1 metro) desde todos los
lados de la unidad para permitir una circulación de aire adecuada.
• Utilice el aparato en un lugar bien ventilado.
• Cuando el aparato se haya enfriado lo suficiente, conéctelo de nuevo al tomacorriente y
volverá a funcionar normalmente. Tenga en cuenta que este periodo de enfriamiento podría
tardar de 30 a 45 minutos.

SI SE VUELCA
• Si el calentador se vuelca, se desconectará automáticamente y el indicador de alimentación
de color rojo se apagará.
• Coloque la unidad sobre una superficie plana, lisa y estable a fin de evitar que se vuelque de
nuevo.
MANTENIMIENTO Y ALMACENAMIENTO
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese siempre de que el aparato esté apagado antes de limpiarlo o tratar de
guardarlo. No sumerja el calentador en agua ni permita que el agua gotee en el interior del
calentador, ya que esto podría crear un riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
PRECAUCIÓN: Deje que el aparato se enfríe completamente antes de manipularlo o limpiarlo.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
• Asegúrese siempre de que la carcasa del aparato está intacta y completamente montada
antes de su uso.
• No toque las superficies calientes. Utilice siempre la agarradera del aparato.
• Limpie la superficie externa del aparato frotándola con un paño suave y húmedo.
• No use limpiadores abrasivos ni disolventes ya que esto dañará al aparato.
ALMACENAMIENTO
• Siempre espere que el aparato se enfríe por completo antes de guardarlo. Guarde el aparato
en un lugar seco.
• No coloque objetos pesados en la parte superior del aparato, ya que esto lo podría dañar.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

• Asegúrese de que su interruptor de circuitos o fusible esté funcionando correctamente.
• Asegúrese de que el calentador está enchufado y que el tomacorriente funciona
correctamente.
• Si el interruptor ON/OFF no se ilumina en la posición ON, póngase en contacto directamente

Encienda el calentador con el interruptor de halar. La leve vibración
que se siente al encender el calentador cesará después de unos
segundos.
