5. About Your UT240-121S
•Easily installs under a table or inside a
podium
•Convenient access to power, AV and
network connectors
•Wide range of snap-in connectors available
•Table cutting is not required
•Low profile design
•UL listed
The UT240-121S Under-the-Table AV Interconnect provides a wide variety of options for routing computer audiovisual signals, network
connections, and AC power. Under-the-table options are ideal for situations where it is too expensive or impractical to install the routing
interface directly into the furniture. The UT240-121S offers tabletop solutions with easy in snap in keystones as well low-profile design
to practically fit under the table where most applicable for user interface.
The UT240-121S comes with an AC receptacle and factory configured keystone connectors. The UT240-121S connects to standard AC
power outlets through a single 9-10 ft. (2.7 to 3.0 m) power cord that is permanently attached to the unit. The power module is also
housed in an enclosure which makes it a durable frame and while remaining lightweight as a whole unit.
The CAT-6 (RJ-45) and RJ11connectors is a snap-in style connector that attaches to a support bracket inside the faceplate. The
connectors must be “snapped” out of the bracket, wired to the CAT-5/6 and modem /Phone RJ11 cables, and then “snapped” back in.
Units have female-to-female bulkhead connectors for 15-pin HD for video. The video receiving devices attach to the panel mount
connectors accessible on the back of the unit allowing for easy and secure connectivity. These units also have a 3.5 mm terminal block
that allows for secure audio by adjusting captive screws on the terminal side. The UT240-121S also has three blank slots (with installed
black snap-ins) that allow for simple onsite customization with various keystones to choose from.
