AirDeck Instructions and User Guide
Installers should adhere to all current Health and Safety Rules, such as the wearing of protective
clothing, ie hard hat, high visibility Vest/Jacket, metal toe capped boots and hand protective gloves.
AirDeck products are tested to the requirements of PAS59 safety standard.
Ensure the area is free from debris. Lay out the AirDeck bags to
allow for complete oor coverage. One bag when inated meas-
ures 750mm x 750mm x2100mm (wxhxl) and covers 1.6 m2. 50
bags, for example, will cover 80m2.
Make sure that the inator is ready for use and that the battery is fully charged.
Three green lights on the charger indicate that the battery is charged to its maximum.

Open the access ap and expose the valve. Remove the screw
cap.
Fully inate the liner until it completely lls the outer. The
pressure regulator on the blower will ensure that the
AirDeck is not over inated.
Insert the Inator through the valve and inate with the Inator
at maximum.

Once the liner is full of air, make sure the non-return ap is well seated and then screw the cap
on tightly.
On full ination of the AirDeck, make sure that the liner does not
protrude and that the ap will close fully to protect the liner.
Should this not be the case, deate the liner slightly and adjust
by pulling the liner through the access overlap ap at the far
end of the liner.

Add more bags by following Steps 1-7 and clip them together.
If the bags are not constrained by outer walls and are being
used in an open situation, use bags with clips both top and
bottom to ensure no movement of the bags
Cover the whole oor area. Clip the last bag in the row to its
neighbour before inating further bags. If necessary, partly
inated bags can be squeezed in to small or awkward gaps.
To deate the bags remove the valve screw cap. Push back
the ap using the red tab until it locks in position. Using the
extract facility on the pump, if it has one, draw out all the air.
Alternatively the bags will deate rapidly if the valve is just left
open.
Make sure the bags are fully deated and
then fold for on-site storage. Take care to
store the bags and liners in a protected
environment

Care and Maintenance
With care, regular inspections and under normal conditions of use and storage you might expect
a full working life of up to three years.
•Please make sure you follow all recommendations for use as indicated on the liner taking
particular care not to walk on the liners when setting out for deployment and that no sharp
objects are within the folds when folding for storage
•Wherever possible store in a cool dark place and avoid both extremes of temperature and wide
and rapid uctuations of temperature
•Increased and rough handling may cause fabric failure and will result in a reduction of operating
life. The year and month of manufacture is marked on each liner as a guide to the operating life
you might expect
• Check that the liner stays inated at each deployment and replace if necessary. To do this:
• Remove the old liner through the front ap
• Fully unfold the new liner and part inate to remove creases
• Deate and then pull through the front ap by reaching in through the overlap ap at
the far end until centrally located
•Keep a record of checks, use and frequency of deployment
