NOMENCLATURE OF PARTS
LORY WP and LORY WP.H are work positioning lanyards and a temporary
anchor devices certified according to the standards EN 358:2018 and EN
795:2012 Type B. Lory WP is permanently closed and without a handle. Lory
WP.H features a handle and may be opened by means of a tool if wear or
length considerations dictate an exchange of the lanyard.
WARNING:
Activities done at heights are inherently dangerous. Understand and
accept the risks involved before participating. You are responsible for
your own actions and decisions. Before using this product, read and
understand all instructions and warnings that accompany it and
familiarise yourself with its proper use, capabilities and limitations. We
recommend that every climber seeks proper training in the use of the
equipment. Failure to read and follow these warnings can result in severe
injury or even death!
This device IS NOT SUITABLE for fall arrest purposes, and it may be
necessary to supplement arrangements for work positioning or restraint
through collective (e.g. safety nets) or personal means (e.g. fall protection
systems in accordance with EN 363) of protection against falls from a
height.

This device was designed to offer you the degree of safety expected from
personal protective equipment in accordance with the European
Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
SAFETY MEASURES AND WARNINGS
a) There are innumerable and even unimaginable possible modes of use
of this device. Only the techniques shown in the figures that are not
crossed out or displaying a warning sign are recommended and
covered by the warranty.
b) This product must be used exclusively by adequately skilled persons,
otherwise the user must be constantly supervised by trained
personnel, who must guarantee safety. This includes liability against
damages, injuries and death incurred by improper use or misuse of the
equipment.
c) This product may be used in combination with personal protective
equipment conforming to Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and in accordance
with the relevant information.
d) In work at a height the foreman must ensure proper management and
planning (including risk assessment and rescue plan) of the work being
performed.
e) The lifetime of this product will be extended if it is used with care. In
particular, avoid rubbing non-protected parts against abrasive surfaces
and/or sharp edges.
f) The braking action of the device and thus your safety may be
considerably reduced if the device or the rope is dirty, oily, muddy or icy.
g) Prolonged use in salty environments (e.g. sea cliffs) may affect the
performance of the product.
h) Do not expose the device to significant heat or cold (see work and stock
temperature).
i) Avoid any contact with chemical reagents, as they may affect the
performance of this product. Contact the producer if in doubt.
j) This device is not tested to work in explosive atmospheres.

FUNCTIONING PRINCIPLES

LORY WP or LORY WP.H work positioning lanyard is installed by fastening
one carabiner on the lateral attachment ring of the harness, passing the
lanyard around the construction and fastening the remaining carabiner to
the second lateral attachment ring on the harness.
STOP position – the braking cam must not be pressed.

The lanyard is attached to an anchor point situated above the user. To
lower, gradually release the braking cam and lower while holding the free
end of the rope. To raise, follow your ascent by pulling the free end of the
rope.

To construct an anchor, pass the lanyard around a structure and clip both
connectors into the next element of the safety chain (fig. A). Ensure that the
structure the anchor is constructed on has sufficient strength. Secure the
device with a mule knot and an overhand knot tie-off (fig. B). With large
angles avoid triaxial loading on plain connectors (e.g. use a rigging plate,
or connectors made for tri-axial loading) (fig. C). Always secure the device,
do not girth hitch and protect sharp edges (fig. D)! If the anchor is part of a
fall-arrest system, use measures to absorb shock loads.

Always pay attention to correct fastening.
Wrong clipping of the hook in the attachment ring of your harness may lead
to accidental disconnection. To eliminate this risk, always clip the hook
correctly (see figure).
The work positioning lanyard is not intended to protect you in case of a fall..
It is only used as work positioning lanyard according to the EN 358
standard.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Regular examination:
• Do not hesitate to retire the device if it shows signs of wear (for rope
abrasion see indicator on the pivoting pulley) or after a major fall or a
major impact. They could cause internal or invisible damage that may
significantly weaken its strength. In case of uncertainty treat the device
as damaged or consult ANTHRON. Additionally treat the device as
faulty if any of the forth mentioned applies: absence or illegibility of
markings; absence of any elements affecting the equipment form and
function; evidence of defects in or damage to hardware elements
including but not limited to cracks, sharp edges, deformation, absence
of parts, corrosion, and other forms of alteration; any other condition that
calls to question the suitability of the equipment for its intended purpose.
• Regular periodical inspections must be carried out by a competent
person at least once a year. For this purpose an inspection record
should be established (see the backside of these instructions).
Furthermore we would sincerely recommend one set of equipment is
used by one person only as its history of use is best traced and
understood in this way.
• Before each use it is obligatory to check the descender and verify that all
its components (handle, jamming cleat, flanges) are faultless and in
good working condition.
• Lory WP.H features the possibility to replace a worn lanyard or switch for
a lanyard length better suited for the job at hand. Consult instructions for
Lanyard WP.
Packing, storage, maintenance and cleaning
Each product is packed with its INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. Proper
maintenance and storage are imperative to ensure correct functioning of
the product (as well as all your equipment) and thus your safety.
Clean the product with a brush under cold running water of domestic
supply. If the stains persist, clean it in warm water (maximum 30 °C) with
ordinary soap. Then rinse thoroughly, wipe it with a towel and dry naturally
in a shaded ventilated place away from sources of heat.
If needed, lube the moving joints of the jamming cleat and handle sparingly
with silicon based oil.
Temperatures
While it is permissible to use this product within the temperature range
from -40 °C to 80 °C, it is advisable to store it in a dry place at room
temperature.

Lifespan
It is impossible to indicate the exact lifespan of this product, as it depends
on the frequency and mode of application, on the environment where it is
used (marine, corrosive atmosphere, solvents) and on mechanical wear
and tear.
Provided it is correctly used (in accordance with these instructions), the
lifespan of the product with average use is expected to be 5 years but not
more than 10 years with the same rope.
Warranty and its limitations
This product is guaranteed for 3 years from purchase against any faults in
materials or manufacture.
The guarantee does not apply in cases of misuse, normal wear and tear,
unauthorised modifications or alterations, improper use, improper
maintenance, accidents, negligence, damage or if the product is used for a
purpose it was not designed for. If you discover a defect, you should return
the product to the reseller you purchased the product from or directly to the
comapny ANTHRON.
The company ANTHRON is not responsible for the consequences of
direct, indirect, accidental or any other type of damage resulting from
the use of its products.

Ta naprava je zasnovana za zagotavljanje ravni varnosti, ki jo je mogoče
pričakovati od osebne varovalne opreme v skladu z Evropsko uredbo (EU)
2016/425.
VARNOSTNI UKREPI IN OPOZORILA
a) To napravo je mogoče uporabljati na več načinov; nekateri med njimi
so celo nepredstavljivi. Priporočljive tehnike na slikah, za katere velja
garancija, so samo tiste, ki niso prekrižane in ob katerih ni prikazan
simbol lobanje.
b) Ta izdelek lahko uporabljajo izključno ustrezno usposobljene osebe.
Sicer mora biti uporabnik pod stalnim nadzorom usposobljenega

j) Ta naprava ni bila preizkušena za varno uporabo v eksplozivnih
atmosferah.

NAČELA DELOVANJA

Pozicijsko vrv LORY WP ali LORY WP.H namestite tako, da eno vponko
pritrdite na bočno vpenjalno točko pasu, namestite pozicijsko vrv okoli
konstrukcije ter nato pritrdite drugo vponko na drugo bočno vpenjalno
točko.
BLOKADA – nihajne čeljusti se ne sme dotikati.

Za skrajšanje vrvi prosti konec vrvi potegnite v smeri puščice.

Za podaljšanje pozicijske vrvi pritisnite nihajno čeljust v smeri puščice.
Nevarno je, če vrv spustite, ne da bi držali njen prosti konec.

VPENJALNO TOČKO
Pozicijsko vrv pritrdite na sidrišče, ki se nahaja nad uporabnikom. Za
spuščanje postopoma sproščajte nihajno čeljust in se spuščajte, pri tem
prosti konec vrvi držite v roki. Za dviganje sledite svojemu vzpenjanju, tako
da vlečete prosti konec vrvi.

Sidrišče napravite tako, da pozicijsko vrv napeljete okrog konstrukcije ter
oba priključka pritrdite v naslednji element v varovalni verigi (slika A).
Prepričajte se, da je konstrukcija, na kateri je nameščeno sidrišče, dovolj
trdna. Zavarujte napravo z mulinim vozlom in dodatnim varovalnim vozlom
(slika B). Pri velikih kotih se izogibajte tristranemu obremenjevanju vponk
(uporabite npr. sidriščno ploščico ali vponke, zasnovane za obremenitev v
treh smereh) (slika C). Napravo vedno zavarujte, ne uporabljajte
kavbojskih vozlov in zaščitite ostre robove (slika D)! Če je sidrišče del
sistema za prestrezanje padca, poskrbite za ukrepe za blaženje sunkov.

Vedno poskrbite, da ste pravilno pripeti.
Če je kavelj v pritrdilnem obroču vašega varnostnega pasu napačno
nameščen, se lahko po nesreči odpne. Da se izognete temu tveganju,
vedno pravilno pritrdite kavelj (glej sliko).
Pozicijska vrv ni namenjena zaščiti pred padci. Uporablja se samo kot
pozicijska vrv v skladu s standardom EN 358.

SPLOŠNE INFORMACIJE
Redno pregledovanje:
• Če na napravi opazite znake obrabe (za stopnjo odrgnjenosti vrvi
glejte kazalnik na vrtljivem škripcu) oz. po padcu z velike višine ali
močnem udarcu, napravo brez odlašanja zavrzite, saj lahko v
nasprotnem primeru pride do nevidnih okvar v notranjosti, ki lahko
občutno poslabšajo njeno zmogljivost. Če niste prepričani, ravnajte z
napravo, kot da je poškodovana ali pa se posvetujte s podjetjem
ANTHRON.
• Kompetentna oseba mora izvajati redne preglede naprave enkrat na
leto. V ta namen vodite evidenco pregledov (glejte zadnjo stran teh
navodil). Prav tako resnično priporočamo, da en komplet opreme
uporablja le ena oseba, saj lahko tako najbolje spremljate in
razumete zgodovino njene uporabe.
• Pred vsako uporabo obvezno preverite zavoro in se prepričajte, da
so vse njene komponente (ročaj, zagozda, prirobnice) brez okvar in v
dobrem delovnem stanju.
• Lory WP.H omogoča zamenjavo vrvi zaradi obrabe ali potrebe po
drugi dolžini glede na naravo načrtovanega dela. Upoštevajte
navodila za Lanyard WP.
Embalaža, shranjevanje, vzdrževanje in čiščenje
Vsak izdelek je zapakiran skupaj z NAVODILI ZA UPORABO. Pravilno
vzdrževanje in shranjevanje je nujno potrebno za zagotovitev pravilnega
delovanja izdelka (in vaše opreme) in posledično vaše varnosti.
Izdelek čistite s krtačo pod čisto, hladno tekočo vodo. V primeru trdovratnih
madežev izdelek očistite v topli vodi (največ 30 °C) z navadnim milom.
Nato ga temeljito sperite, obrišite z brisačo in naravno posušite v senčnem
prezračenem prostoru, ločeno od virov toplote.
Po potrebi gibljive spoje zmerno namažite s silikonskim oljem.
Temperatura
Izdelek lahko uporabljate v temperaturnem območju med -40 in 80 ° , °C C
vendar pa je priporočljivo, da ga shranjujete v suhem prostoru pri sobni
temperaturi.
Življenjska doba
Nemogoče je določiti natančno življenjsko dobo izdelka, saj je ta odvisna
od pogostosti in načina uporabe, okolja uporabe (morsko, korozivno
okolje, topila) ter mehanske obrabe. Če se uporablja pravilno (v skladu s
temi navodili), je pričakovana življenjska doba tega izdelka pri povprečni
uporabi 5 let, vendar ne več kot 10 let z isto vrvjo.

Garancija in njene omejitve
Za ta izdelek velja garancija za obdobje 3 let od nakupa za primer kakršnih
koli poškodb materiala ali izdelave.
Garancija ne velja v primerih zlorabe, običajne obrabe, nepooblaščenih
posegov ali sprememb, nepravilne uporabe, nepravilnega vzdrževanja,
nesreče, malomarnosti, poškodbe ali če izdelek ni bil uporabljen za
predvideni namen. Če odkrijete okvaro, izdelek vrnite prodajnemu
posredniku, pri katerem ste izdelek kupili, ali neposredno podjetju
ANTHRON.
Podjetje ANTHRON ne odgovarja za posledice neposredne,
posredne, naključne ali kakršne koli druge vrste škode,
ki izhaja iz uporabe tega izdelka.

Dieses Gerät wurde entwickelt, um Ihnen einen von der persönlichen
Schutzausrüstung nach der EU-Verordnung 2016/425 zu erwartenden
Sicherheitsgrad anzubieten.
SICHERHEITSMASSNAHMEN UND WARNUNGEN
a) Dieses Gerät kann auf verschiedene und sogar nicht darstellbare Arten
benutzt werden. Die Garantie gilt jedoch ausschließlich für die
empfohlenen, auf den Bildern dargestellten Techniken, die nicht
durchgestrichen bzw. nicht mit einem Warnzeichen versehen sind.
b) Dieses Produkt darf nur von entsprechend befähigten Personen benutzt
werden. Ansonsten muss sich der Benutzer ständig unter der Aufsicht
einer befähigten und für die Sicherheit verantwortlichen Person befinden.
Diese Verantwortung bezieht sich auch auf Schäden, Verletzungen und
Tod aufgrund der unsachgemäßen Benutzung bzw. des Missbrauchs des
Produktes.
c) Dieses Produkt darf in Kombination mit einer mit der EU-Verordnung
2016/425 konformen persönlichen Schutzausrüstung und in
Übereinstimmung mit den einschlägigen Informationen eingesetzt
werden.
d) Bei der Arbeit an hoch gelegenen Arbeitsplätzen muss der Bauleiter ein
entsprechendes Management und die Planung (inkl. Risikobewertung
und Rettungsplan) der durchgeführten Arbeit gewährleisten.
e) Die Lebensdauer dieses Produktes wird verlängert, wenn Sie es mit
Sorgfalt verwenden. Achten Sie besonders darauf, dass ungeschützte
Teile nicht an scheuernden und/oder scharfen Kanten reiben.
f) Ist das Gerät oder Seil verschmutzt, verschmiert, schlammig oder vereist,
werden die Bremsfunktion des Gerätes und die Sicherheit wesentlich
reduziert.
g) Längere Benutzung in salziger Umgebung (z. B. Meereskliffe) kann die
Funktion des Produktes verschlechtern.
h) Das Produkt keiner starken Hitze oder Kälte aussetzen (siehe die
Arbeitstemperatur und die Lagertemperatur).
i) Verhindern Sie den Kontakt des Gerätes mit chemischen
Reagenzstoffen, da diese dessen Funktion verschlechtern können. Bei
Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte an den Hersteller.
j) Dieses Gerät wurde nicht für den sicheren Gebrauch in
explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen getestet.

FUNKTIONSPRINZIPIEN

Bei der Anbringung des Positionierungsseils LORY WP oder LORY WP.H
befestigen Sie zuerst einen Karabiner am seitlichen Befestigungsring am
Sicherheitsgürtel. Danach legen Sie das Positionierungsseil um die
Konstruktion und befestigen anschließend den anderen Karabiner am
anderen Befestigungsring am Sicherheitsgürtel.
VERRIEGELUNGSPOSITION – der Schmetterling darf nicht
zusammengedrückt werden.

Zum Kürzen des Positionierungsseils das freie Seilende in die
Pfeilrichtung ziehen.

Zum Verlängern des Positionierungsseils die Schmetterlinge in die
Pfeilrichtung drücken. Es ist gefährlich, das Seil loszulassen, ohne das
freie Seilende zu halten.

MIT DEM ANSCHLAGPUNKT AM BAUCH
Befestigen Sie das Positionierungsseil an dem Ankerplatz über dem
Benutzer. Zum Herablassen entriegeln Sie die Schmetterlinge
stufenweise und seilen Sie sich herab. Dabei halten Sie das freie Seilende
in der Hand. Zum Hochziehen folgen Sie Ihrem Aufstieg, indem Sie an dem
freien Seilende ziehen.

Um einen Anker zu gestalten, schieben Sie den Gurt um die Struktur und
klammern Sie die beiden Verbinder zum nächsten Element auf der
Sicherheitskette (Abbildung A). Sichern Sie, dass die Struktur, auf der der
Anker befestigt ist, genügende Stärke aufweist. Das Gerät mit einem
Halbmastwurf und einem Überhandknoten sichern (Abbildung B). Bei
großen Ecken vermeiden Sie eine dreiachsige Belastung der
Flachverbinder (z.B. eine Riggingplatte oder Verbinder zur dreiachsigen
Belastung verwenden) (Abbildung C). Das Gerät immer sichern, keinen
Ankerstich verwenden und scharfe Kanten sichern (Abbildung D)! Wenn
der Anker ein Teil des Fallschutzsystems ist, treffen Sie Maßnahmen zur
Absorption der Stoßbelastungen.

Sorgen Sie immer für ein korrektes Anschnallen.
Ein schlecht befestigter Haken im Befestigungsring Ihres

Sicherheitsgurtes kann sich zufälligerweise leicht aushaken. Um dieser
Gefahr vorzubeugen, muss der Haken immer korrekt befestigt werden
(siehe Bild).
Das Positionierungsseil ist nicht für die Benutzung als Absturzschutz
vorgesehen. Es kann nur als ein Positionierungsseil gemäß der Norm EN
358 benutzt werden.
ALLGEMEINE INFORMATIONEN
Regelmäßige Prüfung:
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht mehr, sobald es Anzeichen von
Verschleiß zeigt (für Seilabrieb siehe Anzeige auf der schwenkbaren
Riemenscheibe) oder nach einem schweren Sturz oder Stoß. Dies
könnte innere oder unsichtbare Schäden verursachen, welche seine
Stärke erheblich beinträchtigen könnten. Im Zweifelfall das Gerät als
beschädigt betrachten oder sich an ANTHRON wenden.
• Regelmäßige periodische Überprüfungen sollten mindestens einmal
jährlich von einer bevollmächtigten Person durchgeführt werden. Zu
diesem Zweck sollte ein Prüfprotokoll abgefasst werden (siehe
Rückseite dieser Anleitung). Darüber hinaus empfehlen wir, dass ein
Satz der Ausstattung nur von einer Person verwendet wird, da seine
Verwendungsgeschichte auf diese Weise am besten verfolgt und
verstanden werden kann.
• Vor jeder Verwendung ist es unbedingt erforderlich das Abseilgerät zu
überprüfen und sicherzustellen, dass alle seine Bestandteile (Griff,
Klemmklampe, Flanschen) einwandfrei und in gutem Arbeitszustand
sind.
• Das Lory WP.H bietet die Möglichkeit, das Verbindungsmittel aufgrund
Abnutzung zu ersetzen oder gegen ein längeres Verbindungsmittel,
dass für die auszuführenden Arbeiten besser geeignet ist,

Verpackung, Lagerung, Wartung und Reinigung
Jedes Produkt ist zusammen mit einer GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG
verpackt. Eine korrekte Wartung und Lagerung ist unbedingt notwendig,
um die korrekte Funktion des Produktes (und Ihrer Ausrüstung) und
folglich auch Ihre Sicherheit zu gewährleisten.
Reinigen Sie das Produkt unter fließendem kaltem Wasser aus der
Wasserleitung mit Hilfe einer Bürste. Im Falle von hartnäckigen Flecken
reinigen Sie das Produkt im warmen Wasser(maximal 30 °C) mit üblicher
Seife. Spülen Sie danach das Produkt gründlich ab, wischen Sie es mit
einem Handtuch und lassen Sie es in einem schattigen und durchlüfteten
Raum natürlich trocknen.

Ggf. die beweglichen Verbindungen des Keiles und des Handgriffes mäßig
mit einem Öl auf Siliziumbasis einölen.
Temperatur
Das Produkt kann in einem Temperaturbereich von -40 bis 80 °C °C
benutzt werden, es ist jedochempfehlenswert, dass Sie es in einem
trockenen Raum bei Zimmertemperatur aufbewahren.
Lebensdauer
Die genaue Lebensdauer des Produktes kann unmöglich ermittelt werden,
da diese von der Häufigkeit und der Art der Benutzung, der Umgebung
(Meeresumgebung, korrosive Umgebung, Lösemittel) und der
mechanischen Abnutzung abhängt. Wird dieses Produkt sachgemäß
(gemäß dieser Gebrauchsanweisung) benutzt, beträgt die erwartete
Lebensdauer bei einer durchschnittlichen Benutzung 5 Jahre, jedoch nicht
mehr als 10 Jahre mit demselben Seil.
Garantie und deren Einschränkungen
Für dieses Produkt gilt eine Garantie für den Fall irgendwelcher Material-
oder Herstellungsschäden für den Zeitraum von 3 Jahren ab dem
Einkaufsdatum. Diese Garantie gilt nicht bei Missbrauch, bei normaler
Abnutzung, bei unbevollmächtigten Eingriffen oder Änderungen, bei
unsachgemäßer Benutzung, bei unsachgemäßer Wartung, bei Unfällen,
Nachlässigkeit oder wenn dieses Produkt nicht für den vorgesehenen
Zweck benutzt wird. Wenn Sie einen Schaden entdecken, geben Sie das
Produkt an den Verkaufsvermittler, bei dem Sie das Produkt gekauft
haben, zurück oder schicken Sie es unmittelbar an das Unternehmen
ANTHRON zurück.

Folgen eines unmittelbaren, mittelbaren, zufälligen oder irgendeines
anderen Schadens, der auf die Benutzung dieses Produktes

Denna anordning är framtagen för att ge dig graden av säkerhet som
förväntas av personlig skyddsutrustning enligt EU-förordningen (EU)
2016/425.
SÄKERHETSÅTGÄRDER OCH VARNINGAR
a) Denna anordning kan användas på många sätt; några av dem är t.o.m.
oföreställbara. Endast de tekniker som visas i figurerna och som inte
är överkorsade eller markerade med en dödskalle rekommenderas
och täcks av garantin.
b) Denna produkt får uteslutande användas av lämpligt utbildade
personer. I annat fall måste användaren ständigt övervakas av
utbildad personal, som måste säkerställa säkerheten. Detta inkluderar

f) Anordningens bromsförmåga (och således din säkerhet) kan
försämras avsevärt om anordningen eller repet utsätts för smuts, olja,
dy eller is.
g) Långvarig användning i salt miljö (t.ex. vid havsklippor) kan påverka
produktens prestanda.
h) Utsätt inte anordningen för hög värme eller kyla (se arbetsoch
lagringstemperatur).
i) Undvik eventuell kontakt med kemiska reagenser eftersom de kan
påverka produktens prestanda. Kontakta tillverkaren om du är osäker.
j) Denna anordning är inte testad för säker användning i explosiva
atmosfärer.
