RPM Series Rev. E1, 01/19
4
Automation Products Group, Inc.
• Description
The RPM utilizes reed switches in the instrument’s stem and a permanent
magnet in the oat. As the oat rises or falls with the level of the liquid,
the magnet inside the oat acts on the reed switches inside the stem and
provides a resistive-chain output. The RPM is also available with optional
electronics that convert the resistance output into a 4-20mA signal.
