Dear Customer,
Please follow the instructions given in this manual
to install and maintain our “Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal
monoblock” pumpset to get reliable operation.
When you order spares in future, please inform the
name plate detail, viz., serial number, pump type and other datas.
Spare parts list of the pumpset is given in this manual for your
reference.
This pumpset should be installed by technically
qualified personnel in compliance, in order to avoid unsatisfactory
performance and equipment failure.

INSTALLATION:
LOCATION:
The pumpset should be erected in a place relatively free
from dust , fumes , and moisture.
SUCTION PIPE:
1. The vertical distance between the water level at
the suction side and the pumpset should not
exceed 26 feet (8 meters).
2. Only recommended pipe size should be used. Small
pipe size, nipples, elbows, bends all give rise to
pressure losses and should either be eliminated or
used sparingly. If flexible hoses are used, note that it
should be non collapsible.
3. A larger diameter suction pipe may be used in case
the suction distance is more.
4. Ensure minimum number of bends and airtight
joints.
PRIMING:
1. A good quality foot valve should be used to avoid priming
problems, since the pumpset is not self priming.
2. It is necessary to fill water through priming plug provided at
top of suction bracket during installation and tighten the
priming plug properly.
3. Do not start the pumpset until it has been filled with clear
cold water.

DELIVERY PIPE:
Use same diameter delivery pipe as in delivery bracket to avoid
excess pressure loss.

ELECTRICAL DATA:
1. Please check the power supply voltage and
frequency corresponds to the pumpset name plate
specification and connect according to diagram shown in
terminal box cover.
2. Observe the relevant ELECTRICITY BOARD regulations
while giving power supply to the pumpset.
3. Wire size should be sufficient. Use 3/20 wire for short
lengths and 7/20 wire for long lengths.
4. The pumpset should be properly earthed to avoid electric
shock.
DIRECTION OF ROTATION:
The pumpset should run clockwise when viewed from
cooling fan side.
MAINTENANCE:
1. Do not wrap the motor with airtight materials such as
polythene sheet. Condensation will form in tightly wrapped
motor and damage the pumpset.
2. Bearing needs no lubrication for 3 years under normal
conditions. When re- greasing, only half the space between
bearing and cap should be filled with grease.
3. Pumpset should be covered with appropriate guard to
prevent entry of rain water or direct sun light or any other
dust particles.
4. Ensure that clogging does not take place in strainer. Clean
the strainer periodically.

This pumpset must be used for lifting clear cold water only. Only recommended pipe size should be used (Refer name plate) Use Anaerobic pipe sealant or Teflon
tape for pipe joints.
Use G.I or PVC pipes for better results. Minimize number of bends in pipe fitting. Pumpset should be covered with suitable guard. Sufficient ventilation gap should be
given at cooling cover side.
Contact authorized service agent / dealer for service & repair.
Don't use for lifting impure water or other liquids. Don't use smaller pipes or nipples than recommended. Don't use jute ropes or any other sealing materials. Don't use flexible hoses, that will affect performance. Avoid too many bend that will affect
performance.
Don't place the pumpset in open space without any protection. Don't wrap the pump with air tight material such as polythene cover. Do not tamper or open the motor.

WARRANTY FOR MONOBLOCK :
Aquapump Industries warrants to the purchaser of this TEXMO / AQUATEX product,
that for a period of 12 months commencing from the date of purchase of the product,
Aquapump Industries will repair or replace free of charge any part or parts of the product,
should Aquapump Industries be fully satisfied in its sole discretion, that the defect/s is / are
due to faulty material or workmanship only. The warranty will be governed by the following
clauses:
1. Aquapump Industries or their Authorised Service Agent / Dealer will repair / replace
all parts that are failing due to faulty material or defective workmanship pertaining to
the above product.
2. Only Aquapump Industries or its Authorised Service Agent / Dealer can service /
repair or attend to install / reinstall the above product.
3. All expenses incurred in collecting the units or parts thereof from the Authorised Service
Centre or the Dealer of Aquapump Industries as well as expenses incurred in connection
with deputing of service personnel / technicians towards to and fro travel conveyance
and other incidentals etc., will be borne by the customer.
4. The warranty extended therein is in lieu of all implied conditions and warranties under
the law and is confined to the repair or replacement of defective parts and does not
cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss arising from such defects.
Further more, the warranty in no case, shall extend to the payment or any monetary
consideration whatsoever, of the replacement or return of the product as a whole.
5. The warranty is issued subject to jurisdiction of Coimbatore Court of Law.
6. The warranty is covered by Force Majeure clause. In the event if the above product
is struck by any natural calamity, this warranty stands null and void.
This Warranty is not valid in case of any of the following events.
a. This Pumpset is not used according to the instructions given in this Installation and
Operation manual.
b. If the electrical power supply voltage is not within the stipulated norms.
c. Any repair work / installation carried out by a person other than Aquapump Industries
Service Centre / Service Agent.
d. The serial Number is deleted, defaced or altered.
