The Principle of Manufacturing aquama®Indigo©Solution
Fill your spray with water and salt, press the power button to convert tap water into a safe, efcient, non-toxic
aquama®Indigo©disinfectant solution in only 3 minutes.
Virucidal procedure:
For a virucide solution, pour 2 spoons of salt (2gr) in 200ml
of water and proceed to 4 activations.
Reactivate the solution every day.
This procedure guarantees the EN 14476 and EN 14476+A2
(hand disinfection) certication.

The cleaning and disinfectant solution generator is controlled by microcomputer. Using readily avai-
lable aquama®Indigo©Salt and tap water as raw materials. It only takes 3 minutes to produce efcient,
safe and non-toxic sodium hypochlorite antibacterial disinfectant conveniently and quickly. You don’t
have to worry about the health risks of using disinfectant any more.
Kitchen cleaning & disinfection
Disinfection of kitchen sanitary appliance, utensils, ceramic wall tiles, oor and oor
drain; cleaning and disinfection of tableware, tea sets, milk bottles and nipples.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Operating steps (bactericide procedure)
1. Open the spray head.
2. Pour 200ml of tap water (drinkable according to regions/countries - max 250ml).
3. Pour 1gr of salt with the spoon provided.
4. Close the spray head. Shake 4~5 times to make the salt fully dissolved.
5. Lightly touch the power switch for 3 seconds and wait for the blue light to be on.
6. The spray starts to work with a “beep” sound, the electrode starts to bubble (salt water in it) after
getting electricity. The solution is ready after 3 minutes when the blue light switches off.

8. The system shuts down automatically after 3 minutes.
Best way to use
Use directly when the cleaning & disinfecting solution generator stopped to produce aquama®Indigo©
solution (the blue light turns off). It is not recommended to keep it for a long time (standards are not met).
Press three times on the spray head trigger to ll the reservoir, than turn the spray bottle upside-down
for dispensing.
Light indication
• When the device is working, the blue LED light is on.
• When charging, the red light is on.
• When charging is completed, the green light is on. The device can be used normally.
Check battery status
• Batteries have no electricity: blue LED lights are not bright, indicating that batteries have no electricity.
• Low capacity battery: In the process of

solution disinfectant production, if the red
lights are on or the red light ashes, it means that the aquama®Indigo©solution generator battery is
low. When the power is less than 25%, it indicates that the device needs to be charged in time.
Cleaning
• The bottle body can be removed and washed directly with clean water.
• Wash regularly with vinegar as soon as a lm appears on the membrane.

MATTERS THAT NEED ATTENTION
1. To charge the base, do not plug the USB cable into a socket strip; exclusively use a 5V charger plug.
2. There may be water drops on the inside of the spray when you take out the bottle for the rst time, which
is the result of test before delivery from the factory and does not indicates that it has been used by others.
3. Don’t place the spray base into the water when cleaning. Do not clean the spray in water, and don’t
put the spray near the re source or microwave oven to avoid danger. Do not put the spray in the
kettle, electric cooker, water bottle etc for heating.
4. Don’t pour water of temperature over 40°C into the spray, so as not to damage the electrolysis
components, affect aquama®Indigo©solution disinfectant solution production!

disinfectant solution produced by this machine is for external use. It should not be
taken for oral administration and must not be easily accessible to children.
6. Micro amounts of hydrogen will be produced during the manufacturing of disinfectant. Try to place
the equipment in a well-ventilated and as little dusty as possible place.
7. In the process of making disinfectant, don’t perform other operations, so as to avoid damage to the
equipment.
8. In the manufacturing process, yellow willow occulent precipitation may occur in the solution as a
normal phenomenon, because the water contains iron.
9. Once disinfectant manufactured, please use the disinfectant in time, otherwise the concentration of
disinfectant will decrease due to the inuence of sunshine and temperature. For professional use:
use the solution during the production day. Cannot be stored (standards are not met).

The manufactured disinfectant should be used on the spot as far as possible. Unused disinfectant
surplus can be drained off or should be poured in plastic bottles, protected from light for a short period
of time. Activate the solution every 7 days or once a day for a virucidal solution (without adding salt).

disinfectant solution can be corrosive to metals (not galvanized). The higher the
concentration, the stronger the oxidative corrosiveness.
12. For fabrics, the concentration of disinfectant should not exceed 200 mg/L for color clothing
disinfection. Silk products are banned.

solution has not been tested with concentrations above 2000 ppm (virucide in dirty
conditions). Please comply with the safety data sheet at www.aquama.com.
14. When using disinfectant, we should not pour it in metal container, in order to prevent corrosion,
and use plastic containers instead for best storage of the disinfectant.
15. The
Freedom S
®
is covered under warranty, except for issues resulting from mishandling or
failure to follow precautions in use. If the instructions for use are followed, your aquama®FreedomS®
is covered under warranty for a period of 2 years. Contact your local distributor (country) or
visit www.aquama.com for more information. Only persons authorised by aquama
®
may carry out
maintenance on the machine.
